" Mere bhai, aap bhi bahadur aur hum bhi, isliye aapko ek achchi salah deta hoon. Is aurat ko mat khayiye. Ye abhi bahar se hi mujhe roz jhagda kar karke pagal bana rahi hai, to sochiye aapka andar se kya haal karegi?" 🤣
Episode 62 and 63 were as y0u said action packed and awesome. Your depiction of those scenes were amazing
Jalal-Salima:
"As for Salima, she might be Jalal's cousin now, but she must have been Bhagwan Das's sibling in a prior birth. Both have a talent for utter and total blankness of expression, no matter what the circumstances!" Hee Hee hee 😆
Jalal in the Diwan-e-Khas: Both Jalal and Jodha I thought were magnificant in this scene. Although my sympathies here lay clearly with Jodha. I loved your description of Rajat's expressions especially when asking Jodha to return to her Khwabgah. I clearly remember Jodha's piercing glare through her veil and her stiff and angry gait as she leaves the DEK brimming with resentment and if I may add Rajput pride. I loved Paridhi during this scene as well.
about Jodha during the vase breaking scene... I admit I cant remember everything very clearly but I don't think she behaved fishwife like. I personally thought that her point that "once relationships are shattered they are very difficult to mend" was quite effective.
How perceptively you have described the personalities of Jodha and Jalal as being "mirror images" of each other.
BUT I disagree somewhat with the following lines:
Of the two, however, Jalal is, despite being an autocratic monarch, more ready to admit his failings and mistakes, to himself and at times to others, and to accept sound advice and act on it. Not so Jodha. Never.
The Jodha you describe above came much later when her character depiction took a bad beating like in the Sujamal track and then abysmal rape allegations against todarmal. As I said earlier, in these episodes described by you above my sympathies lay clearly with Jodha. You maybe a tad bit too harsh on her at this juncture and maybe a bit too genorous with Jalal.
Since this is a Rajat appreciation thread let me end with him. Rajat's Jalal comes across as infuriating, Royal, arrogant, reckless, flawed , human and endearing all at the same time. As mad as I was with this Shehenshah , I was inexoribly drawn to him. Speaks volumes for the acting chops of Rajat Tokas
Thanks once again for the tremendous effort you put in every week. Its a blast reading your posts
