CHAPTER 9
After some talks, Jalal and Jodha were going towards their room. Jalal and Jodha were lost in yesterdays night incident. Both of them were not able to face each other. Both were all the while thinking about only one thing of yesterdays night "THE HUG". He thought " Was that hug just a friendly 1 or more than that but I saw love in her eyes for me and even I love... What I love her... No... No it can't be but then why I was so jelous about yesterday evenings incident. I know Mirza likes to flirt but for the 1st time I felt like that. I will ask her". He turned to ask her but she was not in real world. She thought " What I was thinking when I hugged him ??????? he must have felt so uncomfortable. I must say him a sorry. Yaa that's right... No...No. if he has forgot about it then?????? should I talk about this to him... Yes ... No... Oh God please help me I m getting confused". Suddenly she felt someone tapping on her shoulder with which she came back to reality. she turned and saw Jalal was looking very confused. He asked.
JALAL:- Are you ok Rajkumari?????? I m calling you from when and you are not answering me. ( Still Jodha was in lost state. She couldn't recollect the words spoke by him. Jalal understood this and was going to repeat his question again when Jodha interrupted and said)
JODHA ( with hesitation) :- Shahenshah... I... have to... start... my investigation as soon as possible. I... will t..take... your... leave. ( and Jodha turned to go when suddenly she felt a strong grip on her wrist. She was shocked and turned to see Jalal was having a smile and his eyes showed passion, love and care at the same time. Before Jodha could react to this situation he pulled her with a jerk and she banged into his strong muscular chest and she was crushed in his strong arms. The position was like both are facing each other and looking into each others eyes. Jodha was breathing heavily. Her br**t was pressed in his chest. First time in her life she was so closed to a man that to the person who has stole her sleep, peace everything. She closed her eyes immediately as she was not able to hold his passionate gaze. Other side Jalal's condition was worst. First time he was so closed to Jodha. Her petit figure was covered by his arms as if she is his treasure. Jalal saw her chest going up and down due to heavy breathing. Jalal was not able to hold his desire but some how he got little hold on himself and bent his face near her ears. He was so close to her that for a second she felt his lips on her earlobes. A shiver went through her spine. Then Jalal asked her in husky tone)
JALAL:- Rajkumari, I wanted to ask you that yesterday night when you hugged me. It was just a friendly hug or... SOMETHING SPECIAL. (As she heard this question, She came back to reality and opened her eyes. She tried to free herself from his grip but Jalal was too strong for her. She didn't loss hope and tried to push him. But Jalal was not in a mood to leave her. After these many days he finally had Jodha so closed to him. How could he let her go????? he demanded) I m not going to leave you until you don't answer to me this question. ( Jodha knew that he will not allow her to go anywhere so she hatched a plan. Suddenly she saw behind and said in loud and clear voice)
JODHA:- OH NO!!!!! MALLIKA-E-AAZAM (As he heard this word he immediately released her from his grip and turned. As she got free, She ran away in her room as fast as possible. When Jalal turned, there was no one and he understood that it was Jodha's plan. He turned but there also no one was there. First he was angery but then he thought " Don't worry Raj... No...JODHA. I know the answer but I will make you confess. But I agree 1 thing that I M IN LOVE WITH YOU AND NOW IT IS IMPOSSILE FOR ME TO GO AWAY FROM YOU. BEFORE YOU GO BACK I WILL MAKE SURE THAT I WILL MAKE YOU MY MALLIKA-E-HINDUSTAN AND NEVER ALLOW YOU TO GO AWAY FROM MY LIFE." and went to his room with cheerful and exciting mood.
Other side Jodha ran in and sat on the bed with a jerk. She was breathing heavily. She kept her hand on her heart and felt the fast heart beat. She murmured to herself.
JODHA ( while having tears in her eyes) :- YES...YES...YES. I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU A LOT. MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD. YOU ARE MY LIFE, MY BREATH, MY REASON TO LIVE. THE DAY I SAW YOU DISGUSIDE I FELL IN LOVE BUT I WAS NOT READY TO ACCEPT. BUT NOW IT IS TOOO LATE COZ YOU ARE GOING TO MARRY SOMEONE ELSE AND I CAN'T DESTROY SOMEONE'S HAPPINESS. I M SORRY BUT I CAN'T SAY THIS TO YOU (And started crying profoundly for some time and slept in same position)
Jalal was super excited to say this good news to Nandhini. He was waiting impatiently
JALAL:- Where is she I m so eagerly waiting to say this. ( then he heard someone footsteps. He turned to see Nandhini with worried and confusing expression)
NANDHINI:- What happened Bhaijaan?????? Is everything alright?????? ( Then she noticed his expression. He was very happy. She was confused. Before asking anything Jalal interrupted and told her to have a seat on bed and told in exciting tone )
JALAL:- Nandhini, I M IN LOVE. ( As soon as Nandhini heard this, She was in a state of shock. She felt it was a dream. She could not believe that he was saying this. She wanted to fly in the sky and tell the whole world that her Bhaijaan is in love. She immediately hugged Jalal and said with having tears in her eyes)
NANDHINI:- Bhaijaan, Do you know that it is the happiest day of my life ?????? How much I have yearned for this moment to come true. Everyday I prayed to Kanha that he makes you realize that you have got your life partner. I prayed everyday that you get that love and care which you have been craving for many years and finally you have got that person ( Suddenly something stuck in her mind and asked ) but who is the lucky girl????? ( She already knew the answer but wanted him to confess. Jalal was blushing so hard that he turned his face. Nandhini was now in teasing mood she said) Wah!!!! My Bhaijaan knows to feel shy but I want to hear her name Bhaijaan ( and started tickling him. He was trying to get away but finally he became breathless and said )
JALAL:- OK... OK... OK I will say Its...Its...JODHA ( Now Nandhini was at top of the world. She knew that Jodha could make him understand life, love care etc. She again asked )
NANDHINI:- Did you say it to her????????
JALAL:- NO (and hung his face)
NANDHINI:- BBBHHAIIJAAAN!!!!!! What are you doing then go and say it to her. ( He felt right so without wasting any second he was about to go when Nandhini stopped him)wait...wait...Bhaijaan I will first and go and speak to her then I will talk to you. ( he also felt this right coz he was afraid of rejection so he allowed her to go to Jodha)
It was mid-morning. Jodha was still sleeping in that same position. Nandhini entered to call her but she saw her sleeping. She was about to go when she turned and noticed her face. It was fully red and her eyes were puffed. Anybody could say that she was crying very badly. Nandhini became tensed. She went near her and patted her head lightly. Jodha felt a touch on her head and woke up to see the person. it was Nandhini. She said in apologetic tone.
JODHA:- I m sorry I didn't hear you, otherwise I would have got up.
NANDHINI:- Jodha did you cry???????? ( Jodha got a shock by this statement. She turned her face to see the mirror. She now knew how did she know about that. She ignored the topic and said )
JODHA:- I will tell you when time comes but ( then stretched her palms and said) you will not talk about this to anybody promise me. ( Nandhini kept her palm on hers and assured her with a blink. Then she continued) I need one favor from you.
NANDHINI:- There is no word like FAVOR between us. Tell me
JODHA:- Tell Shahenshah to make the sketch of the people he actually sees in his dreams and give it to me and... (she whispered something in her ears so that it can be confidential) Then I have to start my work. There is only one week for the wedding and I have to find the truth before that otherwise everyone has to face the consequences.
