"Seemayein toh aaj ratri ko tootengi..." the Khaas Begum spoke softly, while her husband was left enchanted. The mention of the very thing was enough to make him blush like a teenager experiencing the first throes of love. All he could say to her, that he was eagerly awaiting that evening.

The courtiers and all the begums assembled in the Diwan-e-Khaas, where everyone was awaiting the musical evening. Tansen and his musicians arranged themselves on the platform, as everyone eagerly awaited the arrival of the Shahenshah. He walked in, with an announcement being made for his entry. After greeting the audience with a Salaam, he occupied his throne. He couldn't decide what the exact cause of his happiness and excitement was; the eagerness to hear Tansen's voice or his night with Jodha Begum.
After some glitches, the maestro finally began his performance. It didn't take long for the audience to get enchanted with his crystal clear yet deep voice. He was singing about the very emotion that makes the world go round; love. The audience was engrossed in the music and lyrics. Jalal himself felt hypnotized, he could feel love and desire taking over his being. Maham's plan had worked; she had spoken to Tansen earlier that day and asked him to play music that would fill the Shahenshah's heart with love. He continued drinking glass after glass, while he couldn't take his eyes off her. The effect of the wine soon kicked in, he began getting lost in his thoughts...his thoughts of her...

She lay by the Hamam, caressing her soaked hair. He entered shirtless, only a red scarf covering his neck and a morpankh held lightly in his hand. He walked to her with an intense look, while her face expressed raw desire. She wore minimal jewelry, making it easier for him. He began caressing her face with the morpankh, while she shut her eyes. He ran the feather over arms; she turned her gaze away in shyness. Their being reflected nothing but desire. He eventually put his hand in hers and pulled her towards him. Her hair submerged in water hit his face, while she breathed heavy. The man slowly pushed her hair away, and stared at her with desire laden eyes. She looked away in shyness, her doe-shaped eyes only giving away her feelings. He caressed her face slowly and she reclined towards the edge again. He walked up to her face and slowly bent to plant her kiss, while she shut her eyes in anticipation.
His lips touched her earlobes, she could feel goosebumps rise. His teeth slightly nibbled them and he planted a long, lingering kiss on her cheeks. She put her hand on his head and guided it to her lips. He kissed her petals softly and slid his hand below her head. His tongue slowly slid into her mouth, while she let out a moan. The kiss deepened, and she let go of her shyness. Their tongues were mingled in some sort of a dance, as they tasted each other. The reluctant man eventually pulled apart, being short of breath.
He decided to take things a notch higher and removed the scarf. He sat in the Hamam, while waiting for her to follow suit. She was waiting for his next move and had shut her eyes, but they eventually opened. Her eyes widened when she saw him in the Hamam, Sensing the eagerness on his face, she stepped in and positioned herself beside him.
He flashed a naughty smile and began planting sweet kisses on her neck and throat. He was enjoying her taste, while her breathing increased. He had made love to many Begums before, but none tasted as sweet as this fiery one. She expressed her pleasure by clutching his hair tight; she didn't want him to stop. He snapped back to reality. The maestro had nearly reached the end of his song. The king smirked; he had never been this engrossed in public. He was eagerly awaiting that night; Jodha Begum would finally be his!
