yes casuality is increasing mintue by minute. in nepal it has ecceeded 800 now. may all the souls rest in peace

I found that today's episode was a slight drag, I hope I'm not the only one. I felt there was so much more they could have fit into this episode. I was hoping a little more for a 'Friday' episode. :p

The episode was average, and there was nothing much that really happened. The JA team have not mastered the art of showing 'believable' looking wars yet. :p

Today's war was not against the Shah, it was against the King who refused Khannum's hand for his son. I realized that quite late. 😆

Alter-Identity Crisis:
Hamida Bano has taken this anger of hers to a whole new level. She has spoken to the Persian ambassadors without any prior discussion with MEH or the courtiers Akbar has left behind. Instead of solving the matter, or speaking it out with her daughter-in-law, HB has got this new identity crisis that anything she speaks to her will be as 'MM' to 'MEH'. She no more considers Jodha as a daughter who she can discuss political matters with, and has set off to make this argument of hers as public as possible.

What my main problem continues to be is how a mother can go against the decision of not only her son, but also the Shehenshah. She seems to have forgotten all Political ethics, as she calls upon the ambassadors to stop the war, without any sort of consultation with the Shehenshah or any of the trusted aides he has left behind. Does she have no trust on her son's decision, does she think that this decision of his is not in good intent?

Charu's posts made me believe that HB could be up to something, but I have lost all hopes at this point of time. According to me HB has failed as Mariyam Makhani today, as she has taken a decision that in the long run would only help fix Khannum's marriage back, nothing else AT ALL. I somehow feel she has failed as a supposrting Mother of Jalal and Jodha, as she has no trust on her son's decisions and has broken all ties with her 'daughter' Jodha, just because she did not listen to her order.

Is her anger with Jodha the result of a hurt ego? Partly YES from me.

BB-TM-MEH:
This is a team that I would really like to see in action. There has been some plan that has been made by them, Birbal at the head, so we can be sure that there is some good twist in store for us. I feel like this plan has something to do with what decision Jodha is going to make in the DEK on Monday.

Suddenly the possibilty that MUZ might make people believe that she will convert, seems possible. Whatever MM is doing, it is something that Jodha is going to do to stop the letter from going to the Shah. I hope we see a strong Jodha, who takes her decisions seriously without keeping in mind that MM is her MiL.

Lost cause:
Rukaiiya is a lost cause frankly, she seems to be deging towards Bi-Polar symptoms, as her mood swings are going out of hand and Hoshiyaar is the only one there to bear all these antics of hers. She is till behind Jodha, after 20 years. Just if she realized that nothing is going to get Jodha away from Jalal now. I dont even know how that plan of hers makes sense, she will make HB hate Jodha, due to which Jodha will leave the palace. Why should she leave?

They have spooilt her character from an insecure yet Regal Queen, to a desperate lady who is on the verge of Bi-Polarity.

Hoping for a lot on Monday, I hope they don't disappoint with a slow paced episode such as todays, and keep the episode fast and interesting where we see a Victorious Jalal on one side, and a tedha MUZ on the other who has a perfect plan to get everything back into place. :)


Is yesterdays TRP chart right, because according to this Article, (Link), it Yeh Rishta ont op and not Kumkum Bhagya. So is the list in the right order? :)

There is a saying 'Big egos have little ears'. Only if she is willing to listen to Jalal and Jodha , can Hamida Begum understand the Shehenshah's point of view and the reason behind Jodha's support for his decision.

For a woman of her stature and experience, Hamida Begum's petulant unreasonable behavior is totally uncalled for. She desperately needs to shun her ego and connect with reality. This is the very same Queen Mother who had made sensitive, prudent judgements in the past during tough times. The biggest blunder that she is making now, is a result of her NOT listening to her inner voice. She is allowing her false sense of fear to override her rational thinking and disrespecting the views of her son, the Shehenshah.

I am surprised that in the middle of a fierce battle, Jalal actually found a moment to pause the sword fight and admire his sons' bonding. 😕 😒. Depiction of war sentiments, BT/EK style.

Rukaiyya displaying maniacal behavior is not new. Why cannot the Creatives think of a better way to showcase her negativity.? Her presentation is beyond pathetic. Instead of subjecting her character to more hatred in the name of NR, that is irritating the viewers no end, I wish they do away with her altogether.

Over the week, I have randomly guessed the different possibilities in the movement of the plot. I guess I'm right in thinking that Raja Birbal will have a hand in guiding Jodha during these tough times. However I'm still breaking my head about the 'talaq' part. After seeing her behavior yesterday, I am assured that Hamida Begum is genuinely angry with Jodha and is not putting up an act. However when she does wake up and realize her mistake, I hope she has the strength to face her son and daughter-in-law. I hope her inner demons or begum-e-khas Nos 1, do not get in the way of her apologizing to Jalal/Jodha for her unacceptable attitude and unwanted behavior.

Most of all, I'm sincerely hoping that the Creatives are not planning on introducing the Rukaiyya/Hamida Begum jodi as the new negatives to ruin Jalal /Jodha's relationship. After resurrecting Salim's character, I hope they are not planning to drench Hamida Begum's in negativity. I too am very curious about Monday's episode.

What makes HB's behavior even more bitter is the fact that this change was so sudden. A gradual change would at least be a little more believable. HB's judgement is so clouded right now, she is not even able to view the whole matter properly. She has made this Shah matter about only her family, and has completely ignored the bigger picture.

And in this moment of vulnerability, I just hope its not her mind that becomes Rukaiiya's new play toy.

I have given up on JA showing us some proper War sequence, after seeing the War in Mahabharat and Maharana Pratap, these wars look immature, and talk about wrong timed dialogues. 😒😒

Ruakiyya's characterization has become so immature, she is no more shades of grey, they seem to have made her plain 'black'. But then again miraculously, in a few episodes they will show her being good again like in the God Track. 😕

There is no political advantage in him getting a 'Talaq' from Jodha, so this is something that Jodha has done to get this reaction.
