Thanks for the roses, they're so beautiful. But, it doesnt mean that I'm not mad at you anymore for throwing Surya's bouquet
out of the window. Jodha said while putting the Mohammed International Holdings, Inc. monthly financial statements on
Jallal's incoming files.
Dont trust Surya. He often used his Prince Charming acts when it comes to women. I don't want you to end up getting hurt.
Jallal warned her. His eyes analyzing her facial expressions.
Jodha rolled her eyes. She was amused that both men warned her with each others lethal charms. They were just the same.
Both of you are so funny. He said the same thing about you.
Jallal shook his head. His eyes were flat, hard and stony with anger. "Don't believe everything he said. He is a good talker, and
expert on convincing people." He stared at her for a moment.
Like you, she wanted to say, but decided to keep silent.
Anyway, I need you to help me with my presentation for
our board meeting, tomorrow morning.
Yes, of course.
Jodha was at Jallal's office the whole afternoon. He showed her the necessary data to include in the presentation. The financial
statements, the budget of each account, the sales forecasts and others. She was so engrossed with her job, that she jumped up
when her phone beeped at five in the afternoon.
Surya texted her.
Whats your answer to our dinner date tonight?
Jodha was bothered about what to reply to his text message. She was still in Jallals office and she didnt know what time they
would finish making the presentation.
Jodha texted back to Surya.
I love to, but Im helping Jallal for his presentation tomorrow. I dont know what time we would be finished, probably around seven.
After a minute, Surya replied.
Hes doing it on purpose. He would make sure that you are not free to have dinner with me tonight. Wait for my text later.
Jodha replied: Okay, sure.
It was already quarter to seven when Surya texted again. Meet me on the rooftop, now.
Jodha's eyebrows drew together questioningly. How come he was on the rooftop? Then she replied. Ill be there.
Jodha was surprised when she arrived at the rooftop. There was a helicopter, in the helipad and a very beautiful romantic dinner by
candlelight was set up, with violin and orchestra. Her heart screamed with excitement, it was exactly her dream date.
Good evening, Jodha. I told you we would have dinner tonight. Surya said softly behind her back. She immediately turned
around, and was even more stunned when she saw him. Her heartbeat skipped a beat. He looked more handsome every time she saw him, especially now in his gray dinner jacket.
Hi Surya.
His burning eyes held hers, then he bent his head and kissed her cheek. Come. Lets eat. I know you have a curfew. Or else your warden will come looking for you. She smiled and he gently held her hand.
He pulled out the chair for her to sit down and immediately he settled in his seat. A waiter appeared and served them their
delicious dinner.
You looked so lovely Jodha. Its hard to take my eyes off you. Surya studied her face thoroughly.
Jodha just smiled looking at him, she was blushing. They talked about their families, education and experiences. He asked about
her love life too.
I broke up with Ranveer because he cheated on me. Jodha told him about her one and only love life. Then she asked him about his too.
I seldom date. I dont have a girlfriend for a long time already. I became so engrossed with the business. Surya paused.
But the last time I fell for a woman was five years ago. Neetha was a beautiful woman like you. She was a daughter of a Hotel magnate in California. We dated for a while. I was about to tell her how I really felt for her when a major problem came
out, our oil plant in Italy exploded and a lot of my employees were injured. I set aside, telling her how much I loved her and
attended the needs of my employees first. After two months of resolving my business problem, I went to see her. She told me she
was already dating someone. Then I realized that she was referring to my cousin, Jallal.
Jodha gasped and couldnt believe what she'd heard.
Yes. I confronted Jallal. He asked me, even begged me not to pursue Neetha anymore. Like me, he was so captivated by her beauty. Yes, we fought for her, but in the end, I gave her up. I was loaded with my companys problems at that time, complaints from the employees, the union and the local government were
threatening me.

After an hour, Jodha went back to Jallals office.
Where have you been? You didnt answer my calls. The receptionist in the lobby said that you didnt leave the building. I called every goddamn department and you were not there. Where were you hiding? Jallal almost shouted, he was so agitated.
I was on the rooftop, having dinner.
Dinner? For Gods sake! Im going to take you out for dinner. Jallal said and suddenly stilled. On the rooftop?
Yes, with Surya.
Sudden anger lit in Jallal's eyes. He left banging the door behind.
Jallal arrived at Suryas mansion, thirty minutes after. It was located in one of the most expensive villages in Japan.
Jallal was so furious. He already warned Surya about his interest on Jodha, but still Surya wouldnt listen. Instead, Surya was seeing Jodha behind his back. It was obvious that Surya was
provoking him.
The security guards opened The Suryabhan Mansions high
tech button-controlled iron gates for Jallals car to pass through. A butler opened the main door the moment Jallal stepped
out of his car.
Surya had just arrived thirty minutes ago by his helicopter, after his dinner date with Jodha. He was still in his dinner jacket and
was in the living room bar drinking martini. His head security alarmed him that Mr. Mohammed was at the gate and wanted to talk to him. Surya told his security to let him in.
Surya knew that Jallal came because of Jodha. He was sure that Jallal already found out about their dinner at the roof top.
Surya smiled at the thought of Jallal's reaction. He freaked out, for sure.
Jallal was positively very angry that he ignored his warning yesterday, Surya thought. He didnt know what to expect on his cousins sudden visit, so he took off his gray dinner jacket and tie, and folded the sleeves of his white shirt on his forearm.
He didnt understand why Jallal was so childish and selfish, forbidding him from seeing Jodha. They were not involved in any intimate relationship other than a Boss and a Secretary.
Jallal was known to be a charmer, a player and moved fast when it comes to a woman. If he really liked Jodha, it surely took him too long to charm her. She had been with them for almost a month already. Jallals charms didnt work on her. Surya thought. He liked the idea of Jallal being threatened on his chances with Jodha. Surya saw Jallal striding furiously towards him, when the butler opened the main door.
My cousin, what brought you here? Surya smirked.
Jallal instantly grabbed Suryas front shirt with his left hand and punched Suryas jaw with his iron fist.
Surya fell backward, smashing the bottles of vintage wine. His butler and bodyguards were about to grab and hold Jallals arms, but Surya gave them a hand signal to leave them alone.
Surya recovered and stood up. He touched his jaw, checking for damage, then spit the blood from his mouth on the wooden floor.
Shit! What the f*** is wrong with you, huh? Surya groaned angrily, then punched Jallals face, powerfully. Jallal stumbled and hit the priceless antique vase at the side of the bar.
Jallal fell on the floor, feeling dizzy. You are a bas***d, Surya. He stood up slowly and immediately, picked the lampshade stand
and hit Suryas back with him.
Arghhh! What the hell? Surya groaned and was lying flat on the floor.
Jallal looked down at him. I told you to leave Jodha alone. But you wouldnt listen. What do you want? Retribution? He gritted his teeth.
Surya just glared angrily at him.
Jallal was caught off guard when Surya kicked his stomach and punched his face three times. Then, they were fighting hard like wild animals, rumbling, wrestling and wrecking the whole
living room area of Suryas mansion. It took them a while to calm down. They were both worn out, all energy drained and both were lying flat on the floor, bruised and aching.
I honestly like Jodha, since you are not involved with her, then I dont find any reason not to pursue her. You dont have the right to stake a claim on her. Surya said, standing up slowly and went to the bar to get a glass of martini. Then he offered one to Jallal.
Jallal forced himself to stand up and went towards Surya. He drank the martini in one gulp. Why her Surya? Is it because you
know I like her? Do you want revenge for what happened five years ago? For heavens sake, I already apologized for that stupid thing I did and I thought you accepted it.
Please dont remind me about it. That issue was already closed. Surya raked his hand through his hair.
Yeah, Neetha and I were dating but all she ever thought about being with you. I knew she was only using me to make you
jealous. Surya shook his head. But that is not the issue here Jallal. You are here because of Jodha.
Jallals anger immediately turned to fury. Just stay away from her, Surya. He said; firmly, then he spun and walked towards the main door. He stopped in mid stride and faced Surya.
Charge all the damages to me. Then he was gone.
The following morning, Jodha just finished dressing up for work when she heard a knock on her suite door. Who could this be, its still so early.
She opened the door and was surprised to see Surya on her doorstep.
Hi. Oh my God, what happened to your face? Why do you
have bruises? Jodha gasped and panic, then she held his face lightly.
I had a practice in kickboxing last night. My sparring partner was such an angry man. He smiled and entered in her suite.
Jodha became so worried for him. Are you really okay?
Dont worry, Im fine. Here, I brought you some breakfast.
Jodha took the paper bag from him, smelling the aroma of pancakes and butter. Hmm Thank you. This smells delicious. Come, join me.
Surya hesitated. Jodha, I love to stay, but I cant. My jet is already waiting. Im here to say goodbye. Im going back to Italy.
Jodha suddenly felt sad.
Oh now?
Yes, now. Surya's bold eyes staring at her, with a tender
caress. She stared back at him, then looked down.
Ill call you. He moved closer to her. His hand reached out to touch her hair gently and caressed her cheek. Then he angled his
face and kissed her lips lightly. I have to go. He whispered and left.
