hi galib mirza u r absolutely right . i dint any fault in jo jl as a parents .actual problem started sa ego and anger on anar and anar statement in DEA because of his mis understandings started and in addition to ruq mis guidence.

Hi prem, This is Soumya. I read most of ur posts. u write wonderfully n precisely. I like ur writing style. Here is my personal POV regarding serial Salim. Most of us r forgetting one r two things in judging his relationship with his parents n his feelings. In my POV He is not an ordinary child. in fact all three brothers r not like common children. Their upbringing is different. Their way of thinking, approach to different issues should be different. They have to think politically also. Irrespective of their age they have to be like that all the time. They have to set example to citizens. One imp point we r all missing is tht Jalal never asked Salim to stay at the battle field for nine years. If we remember those episodes dialogues Sa himself says tht in these 7 years I rejected Ja's requests to come home so many times. so now also I am rejecting one more time. so here is also the problem is with Sa not Ja n Jo. Even in Bela Farhaan case also he reacted very rudely. He criticized his parents n questioned their love, their relationship n all in front of everyone publicly, when the actual fault is with him i.e. he killed the fianc of bela n he never checked it back. Actually I lost whatever little respect for him on that day itself when he called his father lusty blah blah blah. How come he talk like that? It is quite common for all the kings to marry for different reasons irrespective of their age etc... n the girls in the royal families also know this clearly. when ever opportunity comes his way he is always ready to think in the worst way possible about his parents n he never waits a single second to humiliate them publicly in the most rudely. But when they come to talk to him he simply rejects them n he never has a sec to listen to them. He can accept n reject them as parents when ever it pleases him. He even calls them as Emperor n MUZ not mom n dad. but they have to always be with him, think about his welfare( he decides what is good for him and what not, not the other way around) what ever he dishes out they have to accept it. Then only he feels that they love him n they have a right tobe his parents. He cannot talk to them normally. He never thinks about them, never helps them n he always says openly that his badi ammijan should be his mother. e even goes to the extent of calling their relation illegal to their faces but they have to understand him. He can reject his wali e had crown also to his convenience. but his emperor father has to think about him n him only. His marriage to Maan Bai. what is the problem here? Do u think it is always possible for the kings n princes to marry for their personal interests? Even today we have so many arranged marriages where the parents r taking some decisions. In that century n in royal families Emperor n Empress used to arrange marriages for princes n princesses for different reasons. There is no reason for his wallowing n all the nonsense. He clearly knows that Haider is the culprit for Anar's present status. then also he forgave him. he is very cordial with him n he talks to him sweetly. Then what did Ja do to him to earn his hatred? Ja never did any injustice to Sa. He is asking his mom to change her faith so that he can be the next emperor. Does it ever occur to him, if his father allows this to happen, then what msg it carries to the public? Didn't he know that people in the country also follow the same example n ask people from other religions to convert to Islam? It will lead to the unrest n rebellion in the country. Is he that much fool to not think like that? If it is so then he is not an Emperor material. In the whole salim fiasco I will side with Ja. we can say that he created rifts between his children may be true to some extent. but he never expected them to be this dumb. He thought that if he explains, then they can get his POV. because he expects that kind of understanding from his children since they have that upbringing n training. They can come to him n say n discuss anything freely but privately in a normal manner. It has tobe like that not the other way around. He cannot go to them n explain his reasoning for all the things he does n all the decisions he takes. He is not answerable to his children first, but he is answerable to his awaam. His children r answerable to him, since anything they do r say will reflect on him n his image in the public As long as this Sa behaves like this with his parents, we cannot connect to him n understand his POV. He has to think like a prince first behave like one n ask his parents to treat him like that. I am sorry its been a long post if I hurt u prem, in anyway am really sorry. These r only my opinions based on my understanding of the situation in this serial n this is my POV which is based on the 16th century times not modern times.😉

all I can say is that it depends on how you think.

If you think from jodha jalal point of view they think they are right

If you think from salim point of view he is right

And now murad point of view- I think first you give him dreams of emperor and take it away that is also wrong, so murad is also right

I too agree... n also murad had always been with family .. everyone showered him love n affection.. where as salim was sent war field to fight with death and life.. in order to make him Grt shenshah .. and after completing so much of hurdles and got all skill to b waalid .. suddenly he is told he can't b king and still expected him do everything as per their wish.. and any guy would have slapped his brother , Wen he called his love of life a dancer and behaved rudely with her...

see here mistake was never of salims

bigger mistake was murad and anarkali and salim got punished

anarkali spoke in bet two royals - salim may be fine as she is his lover but murad is not, he wants no commoner to but in especially maid when he speaks with anyone be it salim or others

Salim told him not to misbehave and shout at her yet murad said that this is what happens when slipper of feet and you have kept her as taj on your head. A maid also has self respect you cannot call her a slipper etc and salim loves her and a lover shall react like salim only

Murad provoked salim repeatedly in this case and salim is no saint to keep cool- Akbar made a soldier hit arrow at salim for stopping him only and warned that he shall cut off his head if he spoke anything against Jodha. So one rule for your wife and lover(and daughter) another rule for anothers lover (and daughter). Salim is an emotional guy he think those he love as family be it Fatima bi and her grandson or anarkali, her father and mom. So that is why he lost cool. another thing he is guilty for making anarkali rakasha too so more dhukti rag hai

Akbar also made salim stand in sun for throwing vase to moti in anger same way salim think murad made mistake. Like Akbar says moti is masi to salim, same way salim thinks anarkali is wife and lover to him

I totally agree with you... but y always injustices fr salim... if we keep ourselves in salim place and see I totally don't find any mistake
