this is in relation to certain behaviors that actors get tagged with and usually they are good actors and are dedicated towards their work..

i came across an interview where Amitabhji was explaining how he gets into the character the moment he hears a script and then starts getting into that character day and night and rehearses in different ways so that he can deliver and do his best and in the middle of all this when an actor gets interrupted by fans or media it gets disturbing and distracting! but amitji is a good talker and makes it all up when he is in front of the media at the right time and his fans come and see him every sunday outside his house as he is a big actor!

now that helps me understand a method actor like rajat more who does not want to deal with media nor fans while he is in the character and while he is on floors of the sets as he is Akbar then and the constant ideas of perfecting his scenes keep on going in this mind and especially when the director is also a perfectionist..no wonder he gave his finest performances in collaboration with SV..because he is a real actor with real passion for acting and the result is in front of us..but the downside is he is not a people person and shies away from media and fans as he is more reserved but wants to communicate through his work but does appreciates his fans when the time is right and gets a chance to address it...!

therefore, my conclusion is that we all judge and misunderstand behaviors based on what media has to say but fail to get what goes on in an actor's life who wants to get into the skin of the act and be the character and all the actors have their way of carrying themselves and no one is perfect but in spite of all i love this kid for his professionalism and wish all the best for his projects in the future!

and also we should not forget that the first impression that we get of an actor is through his or her performance and if that impresses us then the next step is following him or her like a maniac through various media news and profiles!

I AGREE WITH WHAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN. EACH INDIVIDUAL IS HIS OWN PERSON, AND HAS HIS OWN WHIMS, BEHAVIOR PATTERNS, LIKES ETC.

HAVING SAID THAT, ANOTHER TRUTH THAT STANDS IN TODAY'S DAY AND AGE IS ONE OF " A COMPLETE PACKAGE" .

FOR EXAMPLE TAKE THE CASE OF COOKING. YOU MIGHT HAVE COOKED A DISH THAT TASTES BRILLIANT, BUT ITS LOOK, FEEL AND PRESENTATION (BEFORE IT GETS TASTED) IS OF IMPORTANCE TOO.

IN THE SAME WAY AN ACTOR MAY BE JUST BRILLIANT IN HIS ART, BUT HE IS ALSO A PUBLIC FIGURE ALART FROM BEING AN ACTOR SO MANAGING HIS PERSONA IN PUBLIC IS OF IMPRTANCE TOO

WHICH IS WHY MOST ACTORS TODAY HIRE PUBLIC RELATIONS EXPERTS OR IMAGE CONSULTANTS TO GUIDE THEM IN AREAS THAT THEY CANT OR DONT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE.

AMITJI IS A FAB ACTOR. BUT BEHIND HIS PERSONA IS AN IMAGE CONSULTING TEAM THAT WEIGHS EACH AND EVERY WORD OF HIS BEFORE HE UTTERS THEM. EACH OF HIS TWEETS, FACEBOOK POSTS, INTERVIEWS IS ANALYSED IN DETAIL AND THEN PRESENTED TO THE PUBLIC.

MAY BE RAJAT COULD ALSO HIRE SUCH AN EXPERT

Shabda i completely agree with you and i will give you example of that singer whose name is honey singh...a press reporter asked him about the indecent language used in his songs he got nervous and could not answer their questions. ..and that is when someone suggested him of a consultant and then he gave them a good answer to the same question when asked again!

But for me, the society is going wrong way. Why we ask unnecessary questions at first place,if we like the main act so well, then where is the need of frills. Secondly just to reply all those nonrealistic questions, the consultants design a reply, does mean replies r formulated. Its just because many good things we do,we cant explain whys and hows. Its just like the interview sessions, what was the problem, how did you handle it. Now when there is a problem, and you solved it,do you really keep a record of solution. I mean lots things involved in there, the situation, location, persons involved, resources available etc etc

no I think that is not case
Dilip kumar was a method actor and balraj sahani too but I never heard anything bad or negative about them behave with press or fans
Its all generation those days hero or anyone had the basic discipline, values etc to treat others equal atleast nicely
Regarding Amitabh bachchan I am not sure he has great PR etc that keeps him in certain image same for other super stars today its all PR. What they are in reality they never show in front of world its another stage and they play act to media, audience
So any actor has to realize he need not speak to media or fans but treat them nicely or nowadays media spreads news fast then before decades. Also when stars fail they use media to promote themselves and when they succeed they find same media intrusive. That media does not accep it wants to use you the way you used them simple stuff.
Media is also not great and has no values asks personal and intrusive questions
Fans also not great speak about personal life of stars and so no one has values any longer
No wonder many super stars close their twitter/facebook accounts after hounding by fans/media
Best is open a account in other name and keep only family/close friends in account

cannot agree more and most of the questions are irrelevant and most annoying and you can see how the actors skillfully mask their anger and irritation as they do not want to be rude to the media as the last thing they want is to get media on their wrong side! and all this media circus should be restricted to some meaningful work rather than making private lives of the actors a joke!

prem the whole issue is all the good actors are highly dedicated and any sort of interference is not tolerated by them and as far as media is concerned they have a specific time scheduled to deal with them, they cannot just budge into their work and start asking questions unlike the daily soap actors who are 24/7 on their location and into the character most of the time and they cannot get interrupted now and then as it will affect their performance and what is more important for an actor a good performance or making the media happy? for those who can do both fine some can't..and during dilip saab times media stayed within limits and never went out of control like a maniac as it s happening these days!
