I watched just 5 minutes of last episode online to 'watch' the acting of SA actors.
I was not at all impressed, and i laughed hard when that tribal chief "threatened Akbar". LOL
New Bhagwan Das is not as good as old one, but even he was acting better than the new Salim.

audience are a varied lot when it comes to choosing their favourite movies and favourite stars. But when it comes to their favourite television show Jodha akbar, they are unanimous in what they want to see in it. Or rather, what they don't want to see in it. And that's a leap...!!!no one wanted to see leap..that too early still cvs took leap and we can see TRP..The story has not reached a point where a leap is plausible


as we have attached ourselves to the serial's lead pair jalal and jodha in such a way that we cannot see them aged😭😭


ekta had said she will give us epic love of JODHA N AKBAR... that it will be a different, epic love story.
But what we got leap..!!👎🏼
There are several other ways for the soap queen to GIVE beautiful tracks without leap

Cant believe its the same JODHA AKBAR which once topped the trp charts this year with record breaking rating in the post benazeer episodes ...even 1st time JA beated dabh

those episodes where considered as one of the best series of episodes in a show in the television industry till date...

the work of the actors PSRT touched the hearts of millions of JA fans & they almost went into the show that week...

its sad that the special effect that could be seen in this show is no more present in it...

i feel sad for PARIJAT this is waste of their talent..cvs ekta PH BT all are using parijat puplarity for selling SA crap...they knows SA is handicapped without AKDHA presence

i heard doli armano ki is ahead of JA in trp this week..if this is the case this is the best new year gift for cvs

Everything very well said. I am also on the same line. But, we can not choose what is being shown to us. Hence, I left the show.. It was giving more headache than entertainment. :-(

Anarkali was rumored to be a wife (not a concubine) of Akbar, in the earliest "gossip", and it also said that Salim loved her.

^^ This gossip is nullified by various clauses, which we can not discuss on this thread as per forum rules.

I don't know at one time, how many ladies can a person love ?> Maan Bai, Jagat Gosain, Sahib Jamal ? There are more names..

Salim revolted for throne, which is clear to us, not for Anarkali .

There was a novel written Later in which she was mentioned as a dancer, and author wrote that he is writing a work of fantasy / fiction on the first page, the story was taken up by K.Asif in MEA.

EK and her CVs have done a really cheap thing by introducing SA in JA. Its just a ploy to cash-in the popularity of her leads🤢

But as the TRPs reflect, the audience hasn't taken to this track very kindly. I am just hoping JA shuts shop soon. Its too much of a torture to watch. As you rightly said, this show had a certain pull, and we couldn't stop ourselves from seeing it. But it has been reduced to a pitiable state.

The worst part is that the current track is completely fiction🤢. EK's historians probably left because she was taking too many liberties.

But seriously, the show, which was at the 1st position at one time, of out of the top ten now. EK will repent heavily. The CVs should write a book on 'How to destroy a popular and beautiful historical'👏

And I also would love to see this beautiful story again, but with a different producer of course. A concluded mythological show was remade and the response to the remake was far better than the original!

I am hoping that some years down the line, we get a JA remake with new leads, and a story inspired from real accounts and which focuses only on Akbar-MUZ. It would be really nice to see all the parts of the pilgrimage and war trips which EK CVs ignored.

The story's popularity is very evident from the popularity it has not only nationally but also internationally. A remake some years later would surely be received very well!😃

Though, one thing which still cracks me up is that, is it too much to ask for focus being on Jodha Akbar in a show which is named after them.?. And along with that, i did not like the new actors roped in to play SA.

Yes, Jodha Akbar any day, will be a hit, the masses love this story, as can be seen from the movie and this show.

Finally, the inevitable leap with so many new characters( all fic or non-fic but have been mentioned before in this 400 years). New generation, new LOVE STORY😕 with no spark what-so-ever...

Their plan is to jump from 100th floor of a high rise building with media around, helicopter hovering, all kind of forces( police, fire bridgehead, ambulance, etc etc) and of cause a huge audience down there. Now the sad part is our Parijat. They have no choice but to play...you know the thing they use to catch the person if someone jumping from a high story building...And we, royal JA audience, mostly feeling disgusted majorly what Parijat have been subjected to do now. And I really wish, since they already started to jump off(trp drop), they lend flat on their face(ending JA) and release Parijat from playing savior. I give all my dua for the success of this expensive suicide mission.

One serious note...WHY did they actually started this mission in the first place at that juncture of JJ's life, have just reached 2 years of approximately 42 years of JJ's solid married life?

There is no sane answer...I guess.😡

P.S: Jodha and Akbar's kahani is like phoenix. How many times in history(450+ years now) they tried to kill it, it rises back in a new form. CVs killed it and you Abhay brought it alive with your research.👏 I too wish for a new show on JA, giving much deserving justice to their incredible journey of life they shared.

The show began in a right direction. The characters were very interesting and multi-layered. And it did look that there is depth in the scripting. Lately, this was not the case. The quality started suffering post Ben Track, to be precise.

Yes, from all quarters many protested against this Leap, but it was done, for the reasons best knows to PH. I simply hope for a remake by some one in a better manner.

I don't know the reason why the CVs went for the Big Leap. But if they HAD TO, they could still have retained the charm and quality of the show and retained the importance of JA. The SA story could have been narrated from the JA perspective. This way the focus would have stayed on the leads and the leap could have been effected too (for whatever reason it was needed).

The other day, I was switching channels and briefly caught a glimpse of JA in the tribal track. I was unfortunate enough to see a boat scene in which Salim is with a girl and steadies her from falling over. I have no idea who that girl is supposed to be but the two were looking pathetic. They reminded me of the old DD serials. 😆 And the scene was nowhere close to any of the boat scenes we saw of JA in terms of cinematography, dialogues, acting or chemistry.

Secondly, if the CVs go for a leap, they must have the courage to go thru with it completely, including aging their popular (former) leads - RT and PS. It is absolutely silly to make the parents look the same as they did on their wedding day even after they have celebrated their silver wedding anniversary.

I don't mind if they show Anarkali. After all, we have tolerated Atifa in the past. But some quality, some dignity, some maturity isn't too much to ask for. Or is it?

This concept of leap is entirely out of place. The show is Jodha Akbar but they are dishing out Salim Anarkali. You were promised something else by the makers and served something else.

I have read many posts on the other thread posted yesterday, just now, it is amazing to see that a TV show came very close to hearts of so many people. Yes, it was complete magic. The episodes of 2013 were Nothing short of a spell. The show had a lot of potential.

Anyways, the CV's are doing this on a purpose, destroy JA and bring SA, the tweets of the CV show it. When any thing is asked, the reply is, they can show anything as per their whims and fancies, as they have a "disclaimer"..This is perhaps the first show where a disclaimer is cited to destroy the show, otherwise, citing a disclaimer they can show many things to their advantage. Isn't it.?.
