Friends, I watched that historical show on EPIC channel & must say it really looks like a historical show. Execution is great. Every thing looks so royal & real. I wish JA could have been executed in the same way. Can't speak much abt the show here but I wish JA could have been produced by the same makers. I m not at all interested in Salim Noor story but I love it's execution.

Twentieth wife is total fiction and as soon as jodha akbar started following it things went wrong. .the only serial made after doing a lot of research was Akbar the great. .

Mahac had hijacked entire June and July and she disappeared abruptly .When there could be tracks with her .As she was Jalal's enemy No 1.

Abulmali Mali was there and Mirza too.Shariff was there too.All four were enough to play enemies to stretch the serial for one year without even taking a leap.

Chand begum and Shehnaaz were there for almost four months and they too disappeared .

What about Suja ? Because of him a big MU happened .He saving Jalal would haven been a great track along with his death.

People wanted good story.They were not only interested in " passionate romance" or how many hugs lead couple takes and what is the distance between their bodies.

Bollywood is overflowing with passionate romance that sometimes you feel like closing the eyes.

So in a historical story which was between a great King and his wife ,people were ready to look for other things.

We can't compare Jodha Akbar and MEA as Akbar in his youth did many things and Salim was much into love business only.

A young Akbar's achievements would have been such a good example to our today's youth .

@bold: This is me and am sure if JA did bring TRPS earlier there are many thinking like us only.I always loved subtle romance because I can watch it again and again. Never been a fan of hot passionate scenes.

Also Parijat as Akdha was a total hit and are loved by most, which means both contributed equally to the show.

Exactly...and its made in a fraction of cost...its simply the direction and execution that makes the difference
