Now, I don't know what you will throw at us for the epilogue ... but for now, I like how Jodha-Jalal's life had settled into a steady rhythm with the unfamiliar moving to the background, and the familiar coming back to the forefront.

You know what I read this para above and decided to write an explanation below.. it's called why I stopped here... read it if you have the time - I think our thoughts should resonate there!

For me chapter 60, was the return of how Jodha-Jalal were together in the crowd, lost in their own little world, and this is one of the things that is so endearing to me about this Jodi

(1) Amidst all the angst and anxiety of an "examination", in the end of the day Jodha cared only about Jalal ... and I loved the line when she reflects "Yet she was here. For the one person who truly mattered." And after Abdul distracts her for a while ...

How beautifully said 😳

(2) Jodha was back to being lost in the one person who mattered -Jalal - I loved the way you described the "wild monsters ... doing crazy stunts" ... the girl whose eyes had recently been too hazy to see even close to her, could now see his eyes amidst an ocean of a hundred faces, noticed his haircut, his shirt, and could even smell his new musk scent from a distance. Such was her senses sharpened to notice her Jalal. 😳

Oh yes... hearing, smell and all were never affected. The sight was temporarily - but, she was ok in a month.. speaking unfortunately is a more 'advanced' human trait it seems - and that does get affected in some (not all) but should bounce back too... basically, it's more the finer motor skills she needs to get the hang of...

(3) And then it was Jalal's turn to be lost in Jodha ... I like how , very smartly, you hid Jodha's new look from us. As we were left to be surprised and react along with Jalal,

I like how you did not give away what was special about Jodha's look ... you made us see it from Jalal's eyes and be as surprised and stunned as he was ... we are wondering why he was "tongue tied" when we "see" it from his own eyes as his "gaze glided along." Again, Jalal was in his own little world.

(4) And yet again, they were lost for a moment ... as Jodha shyly gave her gift to Jalal, a memory encapsulated in a photo. However, Jalal's gift of life was his one and only "bundle of surprise" - his Jodha.

(5) And after an hour of indulging the crowd, Jalal- Jodha stole away into their little world again on the patio, together, enjoying their Blue Hawaiian and Masala lassi ... and loved the way Jalal said that he would not have hired him if he couldn't make the perfect masala chaas ... they think about each other in the smallest things... it is amazingly cute 😊

Yes... I don't know why I was smiling as I read this..

But, yet there was a lingering hesitation in Jodha throughout it all ... something that was bothering her that did not quite let her be ... while she was trying her best for Jalal, there seemed to be a hesitation.

Oh wow.. so that did come across? I tried putting myself in her shoes as I wrote upto that part... where you try to be confident but you have those nagging doubts..

While I am very proud of Jodha for the way she stood tall in front of Bharat and Harsh as long as she could, I am also glad that those idiots Bharat and Harsh hit that sore nerve when they asked "Why and HOW is he still with a clown" or else Jalal would never have realized how sore it was.

Even if he might not have known it might be so deep-rooted, I do think he did... he is very perceptive of her feelings... BUTTT since she's never had reason to express those insecurities in the past 6 months, he's never broached that subject either.. remember when he mentions to her family 'Kabhi kabhi confidence kho deti hai...' or when Jodha makes a casual remark as to how she didn't participate in her own bday party since their friends couldn't understand her words..

And till this sore nerve was addressed, things could never get back to normal and I loved how Jalal made it all okay in chapter 61, with the return to the familiar and here I fell in love with Jalal again for all the ways in he showed how things had returned back to normal.

(1) Showing her a mirror of herself: Showing how her independence, self-respect, and ego had returned and in turn showing us the reader how Jodha was indeed returning

yeah till she actually faced such a situation, one would never know na...

(2) His sense of humor: That her singing and dancing would still be better than Shantamma and Balaji and his mimicry of the physiotherapist. .. how does this guy pull it off? 😆 (I imagined RT and PS's miming in the serial.. both, have been adorable in those few scenes😆)

The fact she was following his jokes now also was signs of the return of the familiar.

Oh these are all more straightforward jokes na... understanding this wouldn't have been a problem for her.. the ekdam subtle witty one-liners etc might have bounced off though.. also it's been a month since the last update.. hence the noticeable changes from the previous one..

(3) It was a subtle moment ... but there was a moment he alluded to their shared future together. It was masked in humor but I felt it. It was when he was saying he was letting her in on "her boyfriend's secret", referring to him in third person. I loved how he said that he is planning to buy a car and get her a drive when you shift here permanently - there was something endearing about that moment for me. 😳

(4) And then to the most powerful moment of its all when he told the "touching story" of the journey he, Jodha, and us the readers had traveled ... from that moment when she was "near-dead" when he said "he would have settled for something of her ... ANYTHING of her ... and THAT is why [he is] so grateful." To me that was the most beautiful moment, as we were all there with him at that point. We could do anything to get Jodha back and today we have her back. And what could be more special than that. It also shows how you almost have to lose what is precious to you, to help you realize what is precious about it.

What a beautiful concept writer-e-khaas! 👏

(5) And with that, what a fitting "end" to the story, where the lives of Jodha and Jalal are settling into a steady rhythm and with things coming back to normalcy ... with Jodha-Jalal feeling each other's emotions as they always did. Lashy, you know, I am not good at describing physical scenes so I will pass on this. 😆

As they say, the end is often a new beginning and that is how this chapter ended. I am glad everything is not solved yet ... Jodha still has a ways to go, but she knows she will get there with Jalal and so do we. While it is the end of this series, there is a feeling of how Jodha-Jalal's lives will move beautifully on and that is what is beautiful about this ending. 👏

I loved every word of chapter 61 Lash.. right from just leave me alone to the luckiest man of Hyderabad... every word was magically woven.. 👏👏 I can't highlight one particular scene or line but at the end this is what I felt..

I liked that Jodha decided to come afte most people came so that way she made a grand entry to surprise all esp. Jalal. I could not belive Jodha was wearing western clothes but I loved it esp it will go with her hairstyle and made her stand out.

I really cannot believe that there are people like harsh and bharat who would make fun of someone who went through trauma and her medical conditions. I am so proud of Jodha that she did not run away and answered them properly and stood her grounds.👏 To tell you the truth I was not surprised at all bec that is how our old Jodha was. I was just lil worried for that She does not trip or something of the boys.

Oh yes... you do get morons like this ... 'bullies' that's what they do na.. right from school up until they grow older... bullying people around them😕 putting them down all the time!

I knew when they made comment on her and jalal, she would be hurt. Abdul and Jalal handled them well without making too much of chaos. I am so glad Jodha did not call Jalal for help and handled herself. I also liked it that she did not go in self-pity mode and really hats off to her and her spirit and not many can bounce back in life as Jodha did.

Awww.. she was hurt 😭but cos of her ego, she didnt' want to break down and make a scene...

One thing I always believe is important in any relationship is communication and I am very happy that you showed Jodha and Jalal talk about thir feelings, insecurities, worries, and fears.I really hate it when people do not talk about these things.

These two have ALWAYS communicated (except the breakup part which they couldn't)

Jalal erased Jodha's worries not just with words but also with his spirit, courage and how he handled himself and jodha and their problems. I liked his different response to jodha's grievances by using difft., accent, joking, etc. when Jalal recounted the story of that unfortunate day and said he could have settled for anything as long as she is alive which showed how thankful he is with little improvement. It also hit me hard that how much Jodha improved since the time she could barely be awake to now arguing with him as he said.

The thing is Jo knows it too.. but she needed his boost here.. which I think she wouldn't need again! 😉

I loved it when jalal kept hugging he ror bringing her closer when jodha was pushing away his hands while listing out her grievances.

I could imagine our PARIJAT here..😳

It was so cuteee when Jodha was fiddling with Jalla's shirt and and asked why he does not call her sexy etc. When Jodha gave Jalal a cute warning to tell her and Jalal responding with "I am already dangerously in love...it is" I went al awww. Btw, why did not Jodha tell him that she did think for few moment that he was being romantic at that date but then she thought he won't bec they were in street and in public place.

I think it all came too soon to her.. him saying he's been missing it for a while must have thrown her off guard cos she didn't even realize he'd been feeling so.. (not only this incident na) a bit of an unusual bump in their relationship, so her mind must have been processing quite a lot at that stage.. ki 'What? Why? When? How?' etc

I want to tell you that I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT chapter 61. I really really loved it the way Jodha asked Jodha to be her tutor of romance and invited him. Jalal's reaction to it was just how I would like it to be. Then, Jodha's responding nonchalantly about what people must be assuming was nice touch and surprise to us and Jalal.

This gave way to one of the most sensuous Live experience of the intimancy. I was blushign throughout until Abdul knocked the door. I loved it how you described EACH feeling, position, thoughts of Jodha and Jalal. I am really running short of words to describe this. I really do not know how you put it in the words flawlessly.

I was so excited to read that Jodha finished what she started on that infamous date and jalal teasing her that u need help with buttons. What followed was just hilarious- i could not stop laughing as soon as she started saying how she tried tops and shirts etc and knew what was coming by the end of that statement she made.

You know how I always that u have the way with words. I alrealy gave y one example of jalal saying being dangerously in love and other one is when jodha thinks right after slip up that "now she had to put with consequences of having handed her cunning...mercilessly" This sentence could be just written as now he will tease her but the way you made it in a full sentence by playing with words is just amazing- not many can do that. This is one of the rare qualties not many writers have it.👏

ANother thing I liked is how you described the "emotional arousement" which jodha was feeling. I also liked how they referred themselves to being sexiest and luckiest esp. when outsiders who won't have known their love story if they sees them together just crossing a road would feel otherswise and judge them wrongly.

I know you said that you wanted to portray a modern REALISTIC love story but I wonder if there are really people like Jodha and Jalal and if they really find their jalal and jodha. But, one thing is for sure, your story's Jalal is making girls like me who are single expect more out of their future life partner cum love cum husband. I already had a long list of things i want in my Mr.Right and my family tells me to compromise and now after reading your story- couple things have been added.😆 And ya , if there was guy reading this story, he would say same thing about ur story's jodha.
