Chapter 6

He stood there frozen. He could not believe what his eyes had seen. His eyes had seen his beloved jumping of the cliff into the river. He wished that it was a nightmare, his worst nightmare, but, in the end he knew he will get up he will find his beloved in his arms. Alas! This was reality. Even though he was blinded by anger and he had proclaimed that he does not love her anymore, without his knowledge his heart beated every moment for her and craved for her divine and pure love. In this battle between his heart and mind, his mind had won, but today even after the victory of his mind, he realized that he could never stop loving her. Even though if wanted to. She was a part of him and will always remain till eternity. He could not afford losing her in any cost. He had to save her at any cost, even at the cost of his life. Nothing was more precious for him than her life, not even his life. He had to save her and so he jumped of the cliff into the river and he shouted- JODHA... He saw her drowning he tried to go near her, but the flow of the river prevented him for going near her. He could not see her helplessly drowning. He prayed to Allah to give him strength. In the next moment he felt a gush of energy in him. He managed to catch her hand and he pulled her out. He was extremely happy to see her again, but at the same time he was scared because she was unconscious by know. He tried everything to wake her up. At end he had only one option left CPR (I know CPR did not exist that time, but what harm is there in imagining.😆😆 I know that is soo stupid of me.😆) After that also she did not come back in her senses. He patted her checks cautiously as if she was the most fragile thing in the world and said- Jodha khuda ke liye apni ankhe kholiye. He picked her up in his arms and ran towards the palace through the jungle. He was cautious while running not to hurt her. Suddenly while running he hears her coughing he is overjoyed. He thanks Allah. He sits on a rock and waits for her to open her eyes. She opens her eyes and is shocked to see jalal and when she tries to get, she realizes she is in his arms. She is very happy to see him again, to see his care , concern and to feel his love, but she was not ready to forgive him so soon because he had hurted her a lot. Her anger had subsided a bit. She is lost in her own world seeing him again. When jalal drags her out of there by saying- Ab ap ki tabiyat kaisi hai jodha? Jodha heart was dancing and beating very fastly by seeing his concern and by hearing her name without the title of begum. She wanted to kiss him right know, but she somehow she controlled her emotions. She said in anger - Ap ko is se koi matlab? Jalal got angry and said- Haan hum apki tabiyat se matlab hai. Kyunki ap humari biwi hai aur hum apke shohar. Aur apne humme kyun nahi bataya ki apki tabiyat itni najook hai. Aur apki itni himakat ki apne khudkhushi karne ki koshish ki . Apne humare dil ko bhaut dard diya hai jodha. Ap ko kya pata hai apko dundte dundte hum hajar maute mare hain. Hum muaff kar dijiye jodha . Aap ko pata hai ki humara gussa kaise hai. Hum gusse mai na jane kya kuch bol dete hain. Hum nahi ji payenge apke bina. Hum jaror bola tha ki hum apse bepanaha aur beinthehaa mohabbat nahi karte hain, par bolne se kya hota hai jodha. Chaye hum hajar bar kyun na bol le ki hum tum se nafrat karte hai kuch nahi hoga. Kyun mere dil kabhi bhi tumse mohabbat kar band nahi kar sakta. Mere na chane par bhi mera dil tumse humesha mohabbat karta rahega. Jodha tum meri dil ki dhadkan ho. Tum mere dil ki dhadkne ki vajah ho. Hume kabhi chod ke mat jana. Hume tumhare bgair ji nahi payenge. Tumhare bina zindagi ek saza hai. Jab tum mere pas hoti ho zindagi jannat jaisi lagti hai , aur jab tum mere se dur ho jati ho toh zindagi jahannum jaisi lagti hai. Kudha ke liye hume ek akhri mauka ka dedo. Hum vada karte hain ki hum tumhare dil ko kabhi nahi todenge. Hume muaff kar do . After saying these words he began crying. Jodha heart was moved by his words. Tears began to flow from her eyes. Her heart had forgiven him completely, but what about her kids. She wants them badly as much as she wants jalal. She gathers strength to move her hands and wipes jalal's tears to jalal's shock. She says - humne apko shama kiya shehanshah. Par humare bachon ka kya? Unhe humari jarorat hai. Jalal was extremely happy after hearing that jodha had forgiven him . His happiness knew no limit. He was on the seventh sky, but jodha's question made him silent. After a few seconds he replies wiping jodha's tears- Humare bachon se jayada hume apki jarorat hai. Jab tak hum dono unse dobra mil nahi lete allah tala aur apke kanha unka khayal rakhenge. Agar ap is duniya ko chod ke chale gaye toh hum bhi apke piche piche ajayenge. Par humare bad ammijan aur baki sab kya hoga yeh hum nahi jante. Ap ko khudkhushi karna hai chaliye hum bhi ate hain apke sath hum bhi khudkhushi karlenge. Jodha knew that he will die if she dies. He was more stubborn than a small child. She could not let him die because he was not only her husband but a emperor also and she could not live with this guilt or die with this guilt . So she says- Hum atmhatya nahi kar rahe hain . Aab ap khush hain. Hum kabhi bhi apki maut ka karan nahi ban sakte hain shehanshah. Chaye jivit rahete ya marke. Hum apse bahut adhik prem karte hain shehanshah. She hugs him tightly and he also reciprocates the same. After sometime jalal breaks the hug and says- Chaliye jodha mehel laut te hain. Sab chintit honge. He gets up carrying jodha in his arms. He could see very well that she was blushing as her cheeks had turned crimson red. He smiled seeing her blush. She says -Shehanshah humme niche utariye hum kudh chal sakte hain. Jalal knew that she would say this to this he replies- Jaise apki marzi. Par ap chal nahi payengi. Jodha- hum chal lenge. Jalal makes her stand cautiously and she tries to walk, but as she takes a step she losses her balance as she does not have enough strength to walk and she is about to fall so she closes her eyes, but before she could fall jalal catches her. He says- Humne kaha tha na jodha. He carries her again she watches him helplessly. The both were proceeding towards the palace silently staring at each other . Their silence spoke a lot than their words. They both were waiting for the new beginning of their life. But little did they know that what destiny was up to. Destiny was again going to test their bond.
