😲 she finally said what'd been eating her for so long... but, the thing is she managed to weasel out of her part of the bargain after that by not admitting to Jalal that she'd been so cranky all week 😆

After Jalaal left Jodha again drank the coffee left in the cup by him.

Jodha on the other hand was busy studying for exams and was calm and happy knowing Jalaal doesn't have a girlfriend.

She had no idea what future holds for her or how things will be between her and Jalaal once he goes to USA. Will he keep in touch or not?? She wondered so many times if he will even remember her after going or will he just get busy with his new life there and forget all about her. But she suppressed these dark feelings and for now she just wanted to enjoy whatever time she was getting with him.
Very beautifully described Preet... these long distance relationships are tough.. and in a socially non-committed relationship (i.e. one that's not out in the open yet) one can feel very very insecure when the other is meant to leave for a while!

"You really like the songs from that movie, don't you?? You've been hearing them for quite some time now!" asked Jalaal.

Throughout the day she shuffled her mind to pick a song but couldn't decide on one...and decided to ask Jalaal which song he wants her to sing.

'I am talking to you so of course I am happy' thought Jodha. "Umm ya, exams jo finish ho gaye hain" (of course exams finished so feeling relaxed) giggled Jodha mischieviously.

Jalaal smiled and shook his head thinking 'I thought it was because you are talking to me, coz I feel like this when I talk to you.'

At least I will get a chance to say indirectly how I feel for him and he will not even realize it. Yes, I will sing this one.' Jodha played the song and went back to the phone. She kept the volume slow so Jalaal could hear her voice more than the song in the background. The song started playing and as the initial music played Jodha's heart beat started beating faster in nervousness.

You know Preet... from this paragraph and here onwards is possibly the best piece of writing in KMTMG ... the sincere feelings and efforts from your side through this entire scene are evident. I was sitting in the hospital waiting my turn when I read this part - I was amazed! Beautifully described - the lines of the song.. what they meant... and the kind of feelings it evoked on both ends..

I am surprised Jalal instantly caught onto the fact that she could've been expressing her true feelings through the song's lyrics...

If I was in his place, I'd be blissfully unaware. I'd just be listening to the song - and have no idea even if the guy was trying to tell me through the most touching lyrics 😆

Hearing her melodious voice Jalal got mesmerized in listening. After few lines his mind noted the meaning of the words... these intense lines gave shock to Jalaal and he thought 'Is she confessing her feelings indirectly??? Why she is singing such an intense romantic song??? Or is it just a coincidence that she chose this particular song to sing for me??? Oh... Jodha you are making me more and more crazy for you every day!'

'Does she also love me and thinks we can never be together???' thought Jalaal. 'Why do I feel there's pain in her sound?'

Tears started to flood out from Jodha's eyes. Her words melted with her heart...With every word she was feeling pain that her first love can never be fulfilled.

Jodha controlled her tears and emotions. She thought 'it doesn't matter if we can be together or not but i will cherish these memories my entire life. You will stay in my heart forever.'

Jalal got completely lost in the song thinking 'If you really mean these words then I will never let you go away from my life.'

But then what is that scene from the coffee shop in the teaser?🤔

The song was finished but both of them stayed quiet for sometime unable to speak! Both were lost in thoughts and scared of separation. At that moment both realized they can't bear separation. This song brought their fears to reality. Jalaal's heart was crying and ready to break all boundaries...First time ever he thought 'I don't care if she is my student...I don't care we have age difference...I don't care we are from different religions...the truth is I love her and If she loves me too then I am ready for all consequences.'

"I'm asking why did you sing this song particularly??" Jalaal asked again. Because you like it, is that the only reason?? Not because you..." he stopped himself and thought 'Should I ask?? What if she sang it without thinking or only because she likes the song!!'
