Yesterday and the day before RT was fabulous.
But unlike in the showdown of Sujamal track or the dhakka scene and many others, he couldn't eclipse Paridhi. She was equally forcefull and excellent.
The comfort level of the embrace, the closeness and the body language during the togetherness was natural and realistic for the first time. For the first time, i felt that they were husband and wife.
Paridhi expressed her pain and anguish without melodrama. Her voice modulation and the choking and breaking in between was so well done. The script gave her the scope and she was brilliant.
Rajat's brilliance was nothing new. But the medicore performance during MA's death made me a bit apprehensive of how he will handle it. But he was back to his usual excellence.
As for aulaad ka janaaza, it is the biggest burden ever. In our family we have the experience and anger with God for testing the good people so severely is the most natural reaction. Jodha's anger with Kanhaa was most natural. She rushed to Kanhaa during every difficulty and pain. When she was to marry the man she hated, when she was questioned on her character, when she was in a dilemma as to her changing feelings for Jalal, when she needed the strength to save him from Benazir, when she was sent out of Agra, Mathura was the only place she could think of. During none of these trials was she angry with Kanhaa for putting her through these ordeals. She only sought solace in Him. But this time the anger of a bereaved mother overtook the devotion in her, and naturally so.
It takes a very long time to heal and regain faith. I adore Akbar all the more for having overcome the terrible loss, rather losses and gone further along the spiritual line and sought to unify religions. All the pains and negative experiences in his life have only served to make him a better person.
