Khushi

There are many loopholes in this theory...
1. Moti who is loyal to Jo has been present constantly and she knows the first born.
2. If not for the storm, they would have reached the palace on time. There were no rains when the party left for the hakima's place, so she could not have planned the storm that delayed their journey.
3. Jalal had given permission for the journey.
4.Ruqu is no authority on obstetrics. Had any child died in the premature delivery, she would have lost the whole thing...roof walls and ground...totally.
5. Had that much evil been planned, and she had been SO sure of her midwife tactics, it wouldn't have been difficult for her to kill Jodha and have her problem permanently solved. She could have simply said that she died during delivery.
6.Again, had her character been meant to be so black that she attempts to kill Jodha or her children, the CVs would have shown her evil right from the beginning. Not oscillating from grey to black. Even MA didn't attempt open murder.
7. Ruqaiyya is meant to be redeemed. She was the chief queen all her life AND given a future heir to raise, which could have NEVER happened had she been a baby killer. MA was redeemed but only at death bed. Else Jalal would have never forgiven her. As Ruqs was redeemed in her life itself, the crime could not have been serious.
Anyway, it is interesting - the various theories that float in the forum, attributing the worst and heinous villainy to Ruqaiyya against whom, Voldemort would look like a saint. 😆
She is sure to face a fall this time, but how much...we have to wait and see.😊

Adi
Howmuch ever I hate Moti, I can't believe that she will switch loyalties.😕

I am sorry sandhya but Ruku did not raise any of the Jalal's kids...I don't know why ppl try to prove otherwise...Real Ruku might have remained chief queen all her life like Maan bai in Salim's case but it does not mean Noor or Jagat were less important...Any Maan bai had a kid to offer to Salim ...While Ruku was absolutely plain looking and childless...Can you tell me what she has to offer to Jalal? And why Jalal who had a harem full of beautiful women...would look twice at her ? ...remaining chief queen all her life is becoz she was his first wife not his favourate wife...and I am sure she was given to raise Khusaro more out of pity not out of love...One more thing Sandhya in history architectures and buildings speak volumes and are as important as written documents, sometimes more so...becoz they cant lie? And Jallu's architecture clearly tells abt Jodha's influence on his life...Whether it is Sikari or Agra fort...Again I don't think Jalal would have felt so benevolent towards hindus if he had not shared good relations and love with his wife Jodha...

Adi I feel MB is not trustworthy...I don't know why? Maybe it is my dislike for the actress...

How could Jodha even accept to give her child away. Didn't she even think once that the child will think his whole life "why did my mom give me away ? Where was I wrong ? Didn't she love me as much as the one she kept for herself ?" Even if the twins survive and grow up, she is already making two enemies. 🤢 Another Jalal-Adham in the making. 🤢

I don't doubt that HK was Jalal's favourite wife. And I love the fact. But had Ruqs meant nothing to him, she would have been totally sidelined na? She was his companion since childhood and those are relationships whose memories don't fade away with time. She had been with him even before he became Shahenshah. (My mom and MIL are childhood chums and neither of them will hear a word against each other from me. Poor me. Nobody to complain to.😭...) What I mean is that certain relationships are not always weighed against what you gain out of them, that too not by Akbar who valued relationships. Also, you don't have to be pretty to sustain a relationship. Even Salima remained Jalal's favourite though she wasn't so pretty, nor did she give him a child. When I said that Ruq remained his chief queen, I didn't mean that Jo was not. Akbar did have 3 chief queens throughout.
Had Ruqs attempted to kill Jo or the kids, Jalal would have killed her right then. I think that the degrading of Ruqs character is a casualty of NR.
