Mansi, this is the thread I had made yesterday after the episode.

Today's episode was like too much boiled and boiled tea! The taste became bitter in the end.

It was such blatant glorification of MA that to everybody who remembers all what she did to Jalal - it was just hard to swallow. If CVs wanted to glorify MA then the least they could have done was to make her say a simple sentence to Jalal that "I am sorry for hurting you, in trying to make Adham happy I harmed you".

Instead SHE asked Jalal WHY he stopped calling her Badi Ammi!

Frankly if MA blessed Jodha or not - it does not matter. Cos even her curse did not matter to Jodha nor her blessing should.

For Jalal also taking back the curse would have been a relief but beyond that everything else was over the top. What did her acceptance of Jodha matter? To anybody - it did not matter to Jalal, Jodha nor to HB, SB or anybody else.

MA was no saint that her blessings mean a benediction! She had a prominence which she misused in a horrible way. She was not even sorry for anything she did and to me in the end it became only about Jalal.

I did not like Jalal sobbing for her in public.
All the other times he has done crying it has been private. Only we were witness to his tears - be it when praying for Jodha after her drinking poison, crying alone in jungle in regret when Jodha refused to come back to him in Mathura or crying after MA cursed his unborn babies in the agony of cherished relationship gone sour.
This was in public in front of all the bandis and soldiers and it was too much.

Ashwini is going to be missed but for me not MA.

Today's episode seemed like being directed by someone else. The grace the finish was missing so was yesterday's emotions.

I wonder why the rush for leap - they could have shown us 1-2 episodes of Jodha in her 9th month, a little concerned Jalal and everybody taking care. I guess that would have meant giving too much of break from crying and vamps for us viewers! CVs don't like to do that!

Damn this Zee man...he said MA would bring down Ruqs ...nothing of that sort happened...
I haven't seen the episode, but glorifying MA's death like this without her feeling even a pinch of guilty...horrendous ...what were the CVs thinking...

I did not like Jalal sobbing for MA. Granted he had a cherished relationship with her in the PAST - which was ruined beyond repair due to HER acts. However, he would never have gone to meet her if she was not on death bed.

To feel sad for her and at the loss of their relationship was ok, to feel loss for a person who he had already removed from his life - would never have accepted back - to sob and sob for her was too much.

Resham cried loudly and so did Jalal! Director made a mess of it asking Jalal to sob and sob loudly.

Even considering he thought of MA as a mother. If Jalal had just cuddled her and had tears running down his face would have been as effective. The crying should have been in private - as it was for all other times.

MA took back bad dua cos Jodha got Jalal to meet her - so if Jalal had NOT come she would not have taken back the curse?! Then where is HER regret at giving bad dua or even accepting and saying sorry she had hurt Jalal badly.

I would have liked it like this

After MA realized Javeda is not pregnant she should have thought how the idea of even something happening to Adham's child who will take care of it had shaken her - what about what she cursed Jalal with?

MA should have told Jodha she understood what a horrible thing she cursed and for Jalal's sake she wants to take the curse back.

This is what Jalal should have heard when he walked upto meet MA.
Then MA should have said sorry for hurting him badly and feel pain of ruined relationship. This is when she should have said just wanted her son back and THEN Jalal should have called her Badi Ammi.

After this MA should have told Jalal that she has seen everybody's reaction to her and realized that only Jodha stood up for the mother in her and cared for her. She realizes how much she had not seen the real Jodha in her hatred. Jodha is deserving to become MUZ and M-e-Hind cos she has the qualities.

INSTEAD it became an EGO trip for MA that she REPAID Jodha's getting Jalal to meet her by RETURN gift of taking back the bad dua.

IT was too grandiose to be given such dialogues to MA cos she did not show any repentance at HURTING HER SON JALAL. If he forgave her for being a mother - she should have felt pain of her SON. MA felt NOTHING.

Till the end she remained a low class bandi who acted as his mother in childhood and used that position to harm him horribly. Jalal chose to overlook everything and just chose to remember the mother but MA till the end never became his unselfish mother cos it was ONLY ABOUT HER even in dying breath.

awesome analysis

Ashwini acting was good as a dying person yearning for Jalal to yearning to cal her Badi Ammi Jaan in the pass 2 epi get great applause from me. But she justified her action being greed for power n still on the support of AK was deprived of her love that made him to be like that. No one knows her bad deed of miscarriage for Ruq.

Rajat was okay n I find it a bit mellowed down compared to the pain n grief that he showed for Atgah. May it was a sudden death n as for MA he is anticipating his last rite n moments with her.

The recalling of Jalal as a child with MA was good. That approach of showing the little boy n MA running around him n sitting in front him was very good like he is in 3D mode seeing things coming alive. It has a effect of the viewers to show how much Jalal missed his Badi Ammi Jaan.

Jodha was accepted by MA n her blessing of her being MUZ n the only one who bear JA'a waris brought tears in Jo's eyes n MA salute was the best of her showing her accepting Jodha.

Precap of Jo's delivery so soon. I didn't expect that. Wanted so much to c the baby bump n C Jo's antics n mood swings n Ja to pacify her. That would have been really good. especially after he said he'll come with her every night.😉 Wanted to c more of them spending time together especially after he said he'll sleep with her every night. I find Jodha's pregnancy period was fully of tragedy n sadness only. We need JJ to have more scene together to compliment of all the sadness.

Does really jodha will give birth to the babies at the place where the news video shows?

I really want jodha to give birth to the babies beside jalal.😳
It will be very disappointing if it doesn't happens.
Anyway I'm NOT happy that next week the leap is on😭
. I think I just have to admit that ruqaiya is such a big spoiler!
First she spoilt jodha HAPPINESS and now jodha's baby delivery!!!
Ruk I really don't no what her problem is. She's wolf in sheep clothe.
She's just out there for her selfish reason.
Urghhh I just hate her!!!😡

One more news friend Ruqs will be responsible for twins'death according to some zee guy😡

i dont want leap...now m scared may be leap is on the way n in december they will introduce salim anarkali crap...m not interested to see their baseless crap story...

Lets call spade a spade
I was on a skipping spree
I watched last fifteen mins and they all ended watching maham and howl of lori by rajat
Dare he sings before twins or little one of bakshi they will howl even more louder
Clearly everybody else was sidelined..
But like u said fbs were good
Now im back to the serial after burying maham...

Mansi, thanks for the analysis. It's so nice of you that inspite of having meetings you managed to write.

Yesterday's episode had quite a bit of overlapping between the reel story and the real story. As far as the reel story is concerned the emotions did overflow at places, but I liked the part where Jalal was having flashbacks.

Now if I see the real story then I found it was emotional, as Ashiwini one of the main characters was leaving the show and Rajat, Paridhi and lot of others were feeling that and were really having an emotional moment.

So first I saw it as Jodha Akbar & I was not that emotional, second time I saw keeping the real actors in mind & I felt something. Though its just a story but sometimes the actors and the characters overlap and I was feeling it somewhere yesterday.

About the small leap I am not that concerned, but if this story finishes and Salim's story starts then I'll not continue most probably.

Have a good weekend. Take care.

Yes perhaps as a send off to Ashwini it made more sense than as a send-off to maham!

Hmmm, yes maybe the TRP aunties cried buckets yesterday!

Applause and kudos Maddy for this whole post, and most especially all the parts I've marked in blue. What a let-down the episode was. And on top of it we had that SBB segment as precap! What more do we need?

That's what I am trying to say also Maddy. This whole bad dua business sounds like a bogey to me, without substance. What are these characcters shown afraid of, including Jalal? And anyway this Maham retracting the bad duas is even more silly thatn her giving bad duas in the first place.
She takes back the bad duas as a tit-for-tat with Jodha because Jodha brought Jalal to her? So as you say if Jalal did not come there, the bad duas continue.
And now if the babies die anyway even after bad duas have been retracted who do they blame?
Even Jalal's anger regarding the bad duas sounded childish to me. If he had been angry for all the endless saazishes that Maham did thorugout his grown years that would have been worth so much anger. But he was oblivious to most of the plots. Anyway even the few plots of Maham that he came to know about - he should have been angry for all that!
And Maham should have apologised for her "body of work" against everybody yesterday.
