So, without much ado a take 5 today ... and I am a bit on the chirpy side today.
1. Why did Jodha take so much time to dress today? To perfectly be color coordinated with her husband, in her new shade of green.

All the begums got new dresses ... but only one was color coordinated with Jalal. Symbolism anyone?I know I am hopeless. 😳
Jodha's latest cause.Fight for enviornment.So both in green.

. I liked Jodha today for her strong stance on Maham Anga ... I loved the way she said - "After what she did, I cannot do anything." This is a stronger Jodha ... who will not easily forgive those that hurt Jalal. Yes, Resham was OTT and literally begged to convince her ... Even then , she only committed to reconsider. 😆
Thank god .She showed Patience.
Phew, now I am feeling better about the upcoming plate wars. 😉

Same applies to Jodha-Ruqaiyya, I like Jodha's stronger stance here ... where she is not immediately sympathizing ... and putting herself first which is a welcome change.
Again patience from her.Not abrupt jumping to help.

3. Loved the stance on girls-boys, with Jalal signing a farmaan on equality! And living up to his own actions with the authority given to Sharifudhin's daughter!

In the Jodha-Jalal chat (where their color coordination shone all the more), Jodha's pride for Jalal was endearing 😳 ... but wait, has he already resolved widow remarriage? 😆
Even I am wondering.

And of course, Jalal sent the ball back to the other side of the court! But that his greatness. 👏
He should have told Ruku that for one month your gonna change Bakshi baby's diapers,bathe her,make her sleep,entertain her and you have to be awake when she wakes up at night.After that I will think whether I have to think about your request

Also, way to go Toddy- you had exactly three things to do: Pray for the child, bring the farmaan for signature, and looking shocked at Ruqaiyya's request. 😉😆 Arrey yaar, how could I not mention Toddy today?

4. Ruqaiyya ... not for her ask ... but her courage to go at what she wants with such determination ... I thought the way she countered Jalal's arguments was well put together ... and she tried to gather sympathy points ... albeit unsuccessfully

(5) But Jalal was the winner all the way ... A mini-take 5 on my five most favorite dialogues today and his tough and angry stance to Ruqaiyya.

1. Do not cross your limits Ruqaiyya 👏

2. There is a difference between saving me from a sin (Khaiber death) and making me do a sin 👏

3. It is God's ordain to give a child to a mother ... I do not have the right on a Mother's love... it is not under my jurisdiction 👏

4. Children are not property to separate 👏

5. Amazing analogy ... I cannot make one person blind to bring the other roshni (light) 👏
Mini take 5 .Very good.

So, thoughts on my take and the episode? It's your likes and takes that keep me going.
No mention of Munim khan standing next to Toddy.
No mention of Princess Pearl.

Nice post Divya.

Loved Jalal's replies to Ruk today.

Ruk humiliated Jalal in DEK today. I wish he had been more icy and disdainful to Ruk.

She did not care how she made him look. Nobody will feel Jalal was wrong in denying Ruk's wish. However Ruk made Jalal look bad by having to not grant a wish he should not have been asked to fulfill in the first place.

I hate that Ruk is mostly going to succeed with Jodha by using waterworks and get her to agree to give one of the babies to her.

Jodha has felt guilt about how Ruk's relationship with Jalal about Ruk's insecurity so Ruk will exploit that to fullest.

I do not want to see Jodha say yes for Ruk's sake but only for Jalal's sake. Jodha should discuss with Jalal and ONLY Jalal should announce the decision in DEK. Jodha should not have to give any reason nor Jalal why they changed the decision.

I want to see Jalal tell Ruk THEY are going to grant her wish, he should ask Ruk if he is fulfilling his farman/wish now. When Ruk says yes Jalal should say he is going to put 3 conditions and if Ruk agrees to them ONLY then she will get the baby.

Condition 1 -
Since Jodha is the one giving birth to babies the natural mother - ONLY Jodha can be MUZ. Ruk can NEVER lay a claim to MUZ title due to getting one of the babies.

Condition 2 -
Since small babies need their mother most, the baby will be with Jodha for 1 year and in that time Ruk will have to show her bonding with the baby by taking care of her and ONLY after 1 year of showing this satisfactorily can Ruk be given the baby.

Condition 3 -
Finally Jalal should take AWAY the 2nd farman wish still with Ruk saying since she has shown she cannot be trusted to use the wish wisely and with dignity using that wish has been taken away from her.

Since Ruk will have no face but to agree - this will make Jalal strong and not fall to her manipulations.

Ruk will be seen to be winning but will be the loser.

Jalal will learn not to give out signed blank cheques hereafter. Both his begums made a mockery out of him in front of all with their respective farmaans.😭

But loved his responses. 👏. He should learn determination and perseverance from his bil cheapu. See how determined he is to leach come what may.

Why does ps look bleached these days and rt and lt look painted? 😕

Btw toddy has become another agra palace dialogue-less filler.😕
