Attitude , arrogance or pride , however fans , people and medias may qualified it , it's their choice but bending to believe and percieve only Medias' opinion over him and by then criticizing his so called 'ego' is wrong ! Would you enter that easily in communication with the same persons who scattered false news and rumours in order to tarnish your image ? Even though how easy-going you may be ? Same with him here , he has his own self-respect to maintain on a piedestal that can be interpreted as ego , pride , attitude or whatever else . . . ! We all know which attitude we should have infront of few people coz of various reasons , that's simply called being cautious ! I would find him utterly hypocrite and double-standarded if he has communicated with these same journalists and made them clich his own pics when no long ago they were openly making fun of his personnality ! Apni aukad mein raho SBS walon , humein pata hai kaun sach aur kaun galat kar rahe hai , apni galtiyon ko nazar andaz karke apne apko victimize karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai ! FANS hoon par BLIND nahin , humari star waisahi hai utna hai hum use bardash karte hai , kisi ko beech mein needless comments dena zarurat nahi samajhte hum ! TFS !

SRK and AB like giving interviews - but, their counterparts Amir and Salman don't... so, does that mean SRK and AB are more humble? I'd just say different people stick to different marketing strategies. Once he was pissed off and came on to give a couple of weird interviews, then possibly realized what he did was wrong. Since then, he's stayed away. I find nothing wrong in that. Better the latter than the former! Hrithik used to give a lot of interviews but stopped after he saw how the media used him/his wife during his messy breakup with Suzanne. Nothing unusual!

In YHM - Karan Patel also stays away from the media, while Divyanka is more media-friendly. He doesn't like the kind of gossip they keep dragging him into. Yet, he is the most popular today. 😊

Nobody would ask personal questions in ITA , everybody understand that, the people who gets interviewed r asked the same questions, preferly abut dressing style, e gud comments on dressing, nominations, they r given some funny tasks that they have to complete. That's all. If u r talking abt Amir khan he is so down to earth, he will talk so nicely. In satyamey jayete he talk with so many people as u can watch that. Even if he visit company, he will talk so nicely with everybody.
When u got recognition u should behave like that.
I admit amir khan doesn't visit any award, but he never denies to give interview.
Ealier I have listen that he is upset that every repoter just ask abt his satyamev jayete, nobody ask abt his film, as he has taken sanyas from industry.

Interviews usi ke liye jaate hai jisme kuch kerne ki shamta hoti hai. So u much be hapy rather than upset,. If u don't like questions u can say NO COMMENTS.

But that's what he was doing without actually saying it - 'No comments' He used to talk about his dress and hairstyle etc..but doesn't want to anymore...
We only see these articles coming up on SBB and SBS.. not other areas. Why?

His problems are with SBB/SBS.. with none else... definitely not with his fans or his co-stars...he recently uploaded a video thanking his fans for the birthday wishes, wished pari on her birthday on twitter, we see his offscreen photos with the male actors chetan, shaurya, Lokendra and Ankit having a blast!
If he doesn't want to share all that with the media why is it wrong?

And we know media doesn't stop and just back off - If you know you're not good at handling media better to stay away from fire than burn yourself by incidents like Salman making an announcement "Everybody Slap a Journalist Day' or rumours of Kareena slapping a reporter etc

Besides, Amir is more than twice his age.. I'm sure he's learnt with time too.. yet, he does stay away from media as far as he can.. 😊

as much as I love him as an actor I completely dislike his arrogance.

I agree with you
he is not that Rajat we used to know during PRC , tere liye etc
Remember when he was out of work for few years it was only SBS who used to go to his home to wish him on his b'day...atleast he should be down to earth with SBS
Me too don't like his arrogance...this arrogance is not good for him...people like Amitabh bacchan apologized to media bcoz he knows its media who keeps a celebrity into the limelight even when that celebrity out of work

He's not the first actor to not want his personal life intruded into - to not want his pictures clicked. He wouldn't be the last either

As a general trend, I've seen women more media-friendly and sociable. There are many actors out there who prefer not to give interviews or speak to the media since it's better to stay silent than deal with twisted headlines, I guess.😊 He couldn't deal with one set of twisted craziness that came out after his relationship with SN came out in the open and took a few wrong decisions. I guess he saw it was wrong and stopped - can already see a change in his tweets and his silence.

So let SBS project him whatever way the want to. If he continues to stay tight-lipped, at the end of the day he wins. 😊
In fact it's better Pari speaks for the cast.. she's diplomatic and she speaks best.
Better RT stays away.

???😕😕😕

Please explain !

SBS never went of their own accord.😳 Why would they? They went because even when he wasn't in PRC/DV they used to get hounded by cards and gifts from fans every year who had SBSB/SBB address (and didn't have RT's) requesting them to pass it on.
And he used to speak very very nicely to them show them around - his mom, his house, his pet everything. At beginning of JA too he was good...

When he specifically made a request asking them not to emphasize and show her photo they retaliated by not only doing just that but also by flashing it with weird themes songs and making fun of her. That outpured as people's reactions on twitter with people drawing up photos of her having done blackmagic over him and all...I guess he sort of lost it after that.😕
We know Barun is cool, Pari is cool etc.. do you think they'd all sit cool if people were making fun of Pashmeen or Tanmay openly media mein? I doubt... 😕

Yes, mocking does happen... different people react different ways..some like it, some don't!

Shraddha ,I don't know much about Rajat. If he wants to stay away then that's ok and perfectly fine
But Aamir stays away from awards and not from media.
He interacts with them many times.
From promotions of his films to social causes .He is there.
And Aamir too started at a tender age of 22 from Qsqt and he was always friendly.Same goes with SRK.He knows how to manage media.SRk also doesn't come from any film family.

honestly all of us will have difference of opinion in this matter. for me at least its not a big deal, but for sum it can be a big deal. so personally i think let rajat & media deal with it amongst them. its his life let him handle. at the end of the day for me audience should only be concerned with his on screen work, bcoz if we start talking about off screen, there r many telly actors who had done the worst things in their life & have worst attitudes & "ego", but still they r media's & audience fav. we can fight or agrue, but in the end of day, its his work which will matter only. if we r watching media reports about him, we r also viewing his pics with his co-actors. & as shraddha said he is not a diplomatic guy infact he never was, so its better to avoid media rather than being too much over frank.

But he's not media friendly like SRK or AB either... and he was not actively promoting social causes at 22 either... when the whole Reena divorce/Kiran news came out, I didn't see him saying too much either cos there was so much speculation then. Mads never gave any interview for months during the Sanjay Dutt fiasco as didn't Sridevi during Bonny kapoor.. when media starts intruding into personal lives, it puts the celebs off and it's a trend...they stay away, refuse interviews and avoid being clicked. 😊

Amir is back into media now with Satyamev Jayate... and Salman does stay away.. Salman doesn't even use it to project his shows or movies...I don't see Hrithink using media now to project Bang Bang either...still reeling from the Suzanne fiasco me thinks..

I'm just saying different people have different comfort levels. So, nothing wrong if they stick to it. He's not as good as Pari is with interviews. So better he stays away than makes a fool of himself na.. 😊

I disagree with you on Aamir part.He used to give many interviews .And when he started there was not any " byte" culture. But Aamir is not at all arrogant .You can see his smiling photos and waving hands many times.
SRK is another personHe is very social.Salman was also good intially but after some incidents he started acting as a wild guy for media.
HR 's reason is diff now,
But Shraddha ,media don't trouble Telly actors the way they trouble Bollywood guys,I mean they don't give them a single moment of relief .From their personal matters to their holidays everything is open.
You can't really compare a Telly actor's relation with media to that of Bollywood actors.
But still I like that instead of giving some bizarre comments ,RT is silent.Thats good .
