Long and tiring shoot schedules do not really allow our telly actors to travel to the famousGanpatipandals around the city for a darshan but where there is a will there is a way! So the cast and crew of Zee TV's historical saga Jodha Akbar decided to keep a Ganpati for all nine days on the sets and guess who the most ardent bhakt ofBappa is??... Our very own Moghul emperor,Jalaluddin Akbar aka RajatTokas.
We are told that Rajat has been the major influence in getting the Ganpati idol on the sets and took it upon him to ensure all preparations are done to perfection and well in time. He is part of all the aartis that have been taking place over the past six days and also encourages co-actors to join in, sing along and rejoice in this festival of togetherness.
The whole unit of Jodha Akbar seems to be loving this festive fervour on the sets and there is a good flow of Modaks as well. The team will bid farewell to their favourite God on the last day of Visarjan.
