Divs, this starts from the Tarazu point where Jalal is reevaluating his justice and when he is interrupted twice and both times he responds in fury - thus not Connecting with even Ruqs - this is further reiterated by Ruqs as she says that when I went to him he did not seem to even know who it was - HB is correct to fear for him as the night is on and there is no one near him - now come to the burning scene -
As Jalal sits there he recollects the words of AK, AM and MA - all the three recounting keep talking of each wanting to get the throne - thus for Jalal the Takht has become the Takhta - He is now seeing the Takht not as an object but as an entity that has taken the form of a monster - remember Divs that every coin has 2 sides - and while Jalal has till now been seeing both sides of the coin called Takht - he is acknowledging the Evil side now as having the power to engulf even the Good side - and hence the use of the term Shaitaan - This is the rebellion against the corrupting influence of Absolute Power by Jalal - all his near ones have either died for wanting the throne and thus wanting him dead or have died protecting the throne by protecting him - thus he is no longer being seen by his near ones as a person - he has become the Throne.
Hear his words - he says - all this has happened becoz of you (the Throne) - every time becoz of you, my hands are bloodied by the blood of my own - every time becoz of you my own are up against me - You snatched all my near ones either by corrupting them or by snatching those standing against the corrupt ones - Jalal's rant against the throne is that it snatched away his support - this in effect is Jalal cutting all his old ties, which were tied to the corrupting power of the throne - and the burning of the throne is mainly the burning of the old memories, of emptying himself, of cleansing himself.
I know where you are coming from Divs - but this was not about giving up - this was about not compromising on what he wants - he does not want power at the cost of compassion, he does not want an Empire at the cost of becoming heartless - he does not want to rule at the cost of losing his soul - and nowhere did he say that he would give it up for another - his tirade was that he would finish this entire sorry tale of the Throne and its corrupting influence - Jalal would not wish even on his enemy such a situation that he is in right now Divs - that shd itself tell you that this was not about giving up his responsibilities - this was about cleansing out the evil.
As for Jodha and her words to Jalal and his response - Divs watch the scene again - Jalal was in his own world where he was just looking at her - I doubt if he even heard her words or if he did he is not going to this as 'Veda vaak' - he may use them to tease her later - but as of now Jodha's role is to be the key - she is opening up the door to the emptiness within him - the rest is upto him and the Universe - infact even as she is speaking he is withdrawing within physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually - which is why he has been shown in slumber - in her arms becoz he was sitting and not in bed - I did say Jodha is important - and so she came at the right time - when he had emptied himself completely and cleansed himself with wine (which is supposed to be a sterilizer) and fire - Jodha, the key is there to open the door of his soul for the Universe - remember we all have been saying that she is his Beloved - and so she reminded him of Ishq - and his soul opened itself up for the Universe - that is all her job was Divs.
As to how the show goes on monday - I dont know - but this is my reading - this was not a lost boy - this was a Soul that was finally ready to evolve to reach the Absolute.
Btw Jodha still has not understood what has hurt Jalal - she thinks its MA's cruel words - but it is the corrupting absolute power of the Takht that has been like the monster whose hunger for blood cannot be satisfied
