agree...I think I will be able to watch Adham die. I have to for the sake of Atgah and Javeda. Adham did not even feel sad for his wife. .

what makes it even harder is that according to the spoiler pics...Hamida Banu and Jalal are both distraught and hugging each other in grief. It takes me back to the beginning of Jalal's story - how the three of them understand how much danger they had to face together long ago and again now it has come to haunt them.

Beautiful post Paddy! It was destiny that protected him from every danger and ensured that he emerged from every blow with strength to fulfill his destiny.

I remember someone's saying after reading your post--

Sometimes bravery involves laying down your life for something bigger than yourself, or for someone else. Sometimes it involves giving up everything you have ever known, or everyone you have ever loved, for the sake of something greater.
As said above, here Atgah Khan had done the same thing.

Fab post dear👏

He must have sensed this and so he was able to sleep peacefully. His fate was never n his hands, so why worry. His only worry was for others who had to pay with their lives.

and your quote sums up why it is so essential for people in power to grasp the bigger picture. Atgah had a vision - and he stayed true to it, saw most of it fulfilled before his eyes - a great Akbar, a great Hindustan.

This was the line from the Akbarnama: "His Majesty the Shehenshah had gone to sleep in the auspicious palace, but his fortune was awake."

You know reading the Akbarnama with the show is making it so much more meaningful.

Please read this chapter ... it is amazing. I actually read it first and then wrote my take. Perhaps, that is why it was more emotional. It describes even Maham Anga's emotions very well.

You have the links right? The ones I posted once? It is worth it.

and you know why it makes me speechless...because the writers and Rajat have conveyed that very sentiment to me so accurately.

i will look it up ...yes. It's just, I never paid attention to that when the show was going haywire...but now I will.
