Forget about these tracks even when jalal became akbar TRPs didn't increase. Im not against a strong female lead but want a strong male lead as well. But audience really dont mind when jalal is shown as a weak emperor. Audience reacted this time bcoz he was shown as a weak lover. Now, that I am through with what is bugging me ... here is my take 5 today ... more like 5 observations, but things I found interesting and food for thought.

the episode was OTT ..and either they put a kingkong mask on khyber or get him some decent clothes

A few thoughts on Jodha

1. Jodha is torn just as the forum is with regards to Khaiber. 2 times he kidnapped, 2 times he saved. It's a tie!

That is the only thing that can explain her conflicting behavior ...

One time she hits him with a tree, and then she feels bad for his wound in jail.

One time she cooks food for him, then she yells at him.

I understand Jodha's point that if Khaiber was raised differently he would have been better ... but that is like saying if Adham Khan would be different if he was not raised by Maham Anga.

Anyways, I am glad the Khaiber track is ending ... because there is no resolution to this debate otherwise. 😆

i am so busy partying this track is ending that i have stopped finding any head or tail in it now..bless ketan for those pics confirming he is going😆...all i can say is her double dose of pregnancy hormones are working overtime..she was treating him like rahim and he had no intention of being her rahim 😆

2. Missing the forest for the trees ... and this I can only blame the CVs for the dialogues that seemed ridiculous in the bigger context of things.

On one hand Jalal is stating that Jodha did "gunaah-e-azeem" by freeing a prisoner, but Jodha is worried about the "apraadh" of taking someone's clothes and food without permission ... she forgot the hut yesterday 😉

it is indeed some azeem but who cares everyone in his family has done it at some point yet are roaming around angoori bagh without a care...so shall jodha 😆

On one hand, Jodha and her kids have undergone every type of physical torture over the last day, and today, it seemed the future of her children seemed hinged on only one thing ... her changing her clothes 😲

that was so ridiculous..why cvs why do you think audience need a reason for her to change her wet clothes 😆

I hope one day Jodha realizes how good she has it with Jalal ... who would turn around when she would change her dress, was patient when she objected to his staying in the same room, and would never dare touch her even if her life depended on it. But, I think she is ... that is why she yelled "Shehenshah" when she found herself drowning. 😳

see the thing is it is the flustered forum members who are comparing papita and jackfruit to jodha and jalal ..for them that is not the case...jodha has not an ounce of doubt of what she feels for khyber..simply compassion and currently she is heartbroken with her shahenshah yet all she needs is his strong arms...for jodha there is no choice or option coz she feels nothing in that line for this man...

And today, confirmed why I love Jalal ...

3. He knows Jodha so well ... Did anyone see the smile on his face when Maan Singh came to tell him about Jodha's "saving people" habit and he said "Hum Jaanthe Hai Maan Singh" and how he nodded along ... Jalal also loves her "rehem dil" but is annoyed by her "zidd"

And, it was cute how Maan Singh was trying to be defense attorney ... but he was defending Jodha in front of her own biggest defense attorney.

But, the issue this time is not whether Jalal will trust Jodha ... he always trusts Jodha. The issue is how this time he has to defend Jodha in front of his entire awaam .

jalal was too restless ,scared,desperate yesterday...when he did not want to rest at night,when he was talking to maan singh knowing the gravity of what she did and then when he entered the hut...it was not anger at what others said but a fear of losing her ...the way he held that dupatta in his hands

4. Jalal-Jodha-Awaam equation- I think that is exactly what the CVs plan to show ... because this time they are showing everything through the eyes of the awaam: seeing Jodha together with another man, staying together with another man in a hit, Munim Khan's question on "why would she feed him?", and her clothes.

So, this is not an issue of whether Jalal will trust Jodha or not ... he always will. This is a question on how Jalal will restore Jodha's maan samaan and I have full trust in Jalal!

this whole gossip girls rip off is for that only divi..to show jalal shutting up everyone and his unshakable trust in her hence they are ensuring that he gets to see and hear the extreme and yes how he will salvage the whole situation

BTW, notice Shariffidhin's expressions seeing the Jodha-Khaiber situation in the hut ... now he is thinking, not only did I lose out to Jalal but Khaiber as well. 😆

it was the kodak moment when sharif sees jalal with the dupatta...ommgg his expressions 🤣..first jalal and now khyber ..mera number toh aana hi nahi hai😆

5. Round 1, Khaiber. Round 2, definitely Jalal!

Today, the match was who would save Jodha from the river. Khaiber one, Jalal was close but not close enough.

poor guy was send off to find dakus ..his expression 😆 and very soon his only solace that surang too will be gone😆 back to portraits😆

I thought it was one moment of cuteness that both Jodha-Jalal thought of going along the river ... for two very different reasons though. 😳 Okay , I am hopeless.

it was cute and we are hopeless...we find romance in everything 😆

Tomorrow, it will be who can save Jodha from falling. Jalal is doing everything possible to win and he inched closer to Jodha as he could not take any chances.

he was so jealous isshhh and the look he gave khyber and poor khyber he looked heartbroken and when he sees them together he will be ...awww suddenly am feeling sad😭😆

Personally, being Jodha, if the question was about who would be stronger to save her out of that situation ... I would choose Khaiber. Practically speaking! But, if it is the journey after being saved , it is Jalal all the way. 😳😉😆

what if she catches khyber's hand and jalal lets go off the rope in heartbreak 😆

I think Jalal should sing: "Palat tera dhyan kidhar hai ye tera hero idhar hai" from Main Tera Hero.

becahre ko monday tak iss gaane par yakeen hai...tuesday se gaa raha hai...meri jodha ,meri tamanna jhoot nahi hai mera pyaar ,deewane se ho gayi galti jaane do yaar😆

So, thoughts on my take and the episode?

P.S. Rashmi, Munim Khan seems busy searching for Jodha and investigating why she cooked for Khaiber - hence they have not found him to tell him the news yet. 😆

Even though it's better not to generalize, still...one wouldn't be able to deny that it's the female generation of 30-35 and upwards who keep these soaps running - and possibly, much to the disgruntlement of the male members and the younger generations in that very household!

My own house has examples-a-plenty to provide here ... Where my father considers it abshagun, especially on a Friday or Tuesday evening to hear women cry... But, that's invariably what happens in most of the serials my mom/grand mom watch!

And the statistics show that such viewers prefer watching serials/tracks where the good Bahu is always mistaken and tortured aplenty, while she comes up trumps at the end of every track and forgives all her wrongdoers...same trend continues here too...

By the way, I just realised... I would be one of those TRP aunties myself... 😭
