Hello , I have been a silent follower and reader of this forum since several months but kept my opinions about the shows' progress to myself . However todays' episode and the portrayal of Jalalludin Mohammad Akbar has not only shocked me but has left me wondering about the path the Creatives have chosen to degrade the character of Akbar . If this is how they intended to portray Akbar as a lusty , lecherous king why anoint him with the title "Akbar" in the first place .
If Akbar is going to be smart enough to figure out that this woman spells TROUBLE in capital letters then well and good , however if he is going to fall for her charms then I would definitely believe that he does not care for the well being of his favorite queen and twins at all . If Jodha tending to a wounded cannibal ( who actually never hurt her) is wrong , then her husband ogling at another woman is equally if not more gravely wrong .
Having said this , a part of me believes that Jalal has already figured out that this woman is upto something fishy . He may just be playing along with her attentions in order to catch her red handed.
