On the one hand, Jodha was acting too overly concerned about the wellbeing of Khyber even after his capture and jailing ... and on the other hand the precap scene showed Jalal openly ogling the beauty of wife of his minister in the DEK. Both extremes were disgusting. I can neither understand Jodha going to the extent of washing Khyber's wounds in jail herself, nor can I understand how a man with a pregnant wife he professes to love can so allow his eye to be loosely roving at the DEK.
God save us from this Crap!
The important thing here is that whenever two people close to each other start getting distracted away from each other towards others, in the long run they hurt themselves more than they hurt each other. We always focus on how much they have hurt each other - but we never realise how they have hurt themselves, or trapped themselves, by allowing themselves to be even temporarily entertaining thoughts of others.
⭐️ Well said
Let's take Jodha first.
We don't know how he really felt when he tried to shake her by the shoulders and communicate with her after she almost was killed by Mahchuchak's soldiers.
I think I understoood what he said!😉(Poor chap!!He was concerned for her!🥱) It sounded like-
"aayya eeyya aaayaya oooyeyaa eeyayaaa aaa"("Why did you come out of there uh?Answer me!Why did you come out of the place?"😆😆😆)
He is possessive😲!!!
😳 Was he just wanting her to be safe and ... or was he getting possessive over this beautiful woman d getting angry with her for defying his overlordship?
God only knows, even I am not able to decode it!!😕🥱
But what if Jodha's sympathy for Khyber has given Khyber entirely different ideas and he turns violent if he senses that Jodha actually does not return his feelings and is in deep bonding with her own husband? Will Khyber not try to become a leech in Jodha's life and try to get violent with anyone who gets close to her? 🥱
Again,🤔I think here there is a possibility of exact opposite happening.😕 Let's W&W😊
Many people even advance the argument that if Jalal takes this Atifa as his new wife when Jodha is pregnant, it is not much different from the way he consummated his marriage with Jodha when Ruq was supposed to be pregnant. So what are his ethics anyway?😕
I see this in a very different perspective although!I personally think that Consummation was not at all due to this pregnancy fiasco. It just fueled the urge in Jodha to express her long-hidden feelings...and unless Jodha admitted her feelings it would have not happened at all!🥱
Reagarding ethics, I have also a doubt now. Some people even say that his only weakness was women(I don't know the actual fact and historical accuracy behind this.No offences to anyone)
Some historical information I have come across seems to suggest that Jalal never married Atifa but he was enamoured of her and her singing and that was it. Some other information suggests that Jalal may have married Atifa but after marriage he does not show any particular interest in her ... and eventually she runs away with someone else. None of this I know for sure for my history is a zero. But if it's a fact that after marriage (or just a liaison) there was nothing but distance and mutual disdain between Jalal and Atifa, I think that supports my suspicion that Atifa may never have returned Jalal's interest.
I agree with you👍🏼
Staying away from potential leeches should be the moral of the story
There is a lesson to be learnt in this track by all of us audiences and also by Jodha and Jalal.
Sympathy and empathy are dangerous things to play with ... because if they are not showered on the right people for the right reasons, the recipients of such sympathy and empathy can very well become parasites in one's life and prevent healthier relationships from re-engaging.
This reminds of a Telugu saying"Thanaki maalina dharmam paniki raadu",which means one must not unnecessarily show over sympathy...which leads disastrous results🤓
This track is disgusting to watch, for sure, but it is in its own way interesting too. It's an interesting dilemma in the lives of both Jodha and Jalal because this "infatuation for others and their causes" too is a good test of their marriage and love.
Can Jodha and Jalal have reasons to "fall" for others - in pity or in admiration even - and yet return to each other stronger than before they got misdirected in their intentions?
I am waiting to see how Jodha will shrug off this Khyber from consuming all her time and attention and life, and keeping her away from her Jalal ... and how Jalal will likewise shrug off this Atifa from consuming all his time and attention and life, and keeping him away from his Jodha. It's a test for both Jodha and Jalal to see how deeply they want to commit themselves to each other exclusively.
I think this is somehow inextricably woven to this--
Maybe I have not understood you fully yet?" Jodha is quick to turn around and answer him "I too can't say I've understood you fully Shahenshah!"
The day where they will fully understand each other, they would be leading a happy life wtith no place for misunderstandings and their family would be complete with their children.
I just remember Hamida's dialogue here, when she said it in the past to Jalal, when he was going to mercilessly slay both the lovers after getting to know that the lady is pregnant, due to an affair with that man.
"Do se teen hone ke liye pehle do ko ek hona padtha hai. Aur dono ko ek hone ke liye Mohabbat ki zaroorat hai"
In the precap, Jalal is in the DEK arbitrating between a man and his wife presumably on the matter of their divorce, judging from the downcast expression on the man's face. "I have to adjudicate according to the rules of the Sultanate" Jalal is saying to them, when suddenly the dupatta covering the woman's face flies off in the breeze and Jalal gets a good look at her. His eyes seem riveted to her beautiful face (yech, blech!) and he seems enthralled!
What a crap!
😡😡😡
