One good thing ... CVs finally realize we want to see more of Jodha-Jalal ...
I know a lot of people, including me, nitpick on these scenes for their repetitive dialogues, etc. but one thing I am feeling is that Jodha-Jalal look a lot more natural and comfortable with each other.
So, here is my take 5:
(1) First, Jodha-Jalal scene,I like how it was natural. Both of them chatting, lying on bed. Obviously, Jalal is enamored with his wife and Paridhi loved the attention (err, I mean Paridhi's Jodha ... but now I can't fix it 😆) ... I liked his dialogue on how who would have thought that at one time we could not stand the sight of each other, and now they cannot stay without seeing each other.
Liked the naughty way Jodha fed the churna to Jalal so he can experience her pain!
Oh and we have a new tagline for this show- the journey of a Shehenshah to a Shaayar. That is more like it! 😆
(2) Atgah and Todarmal finally doing work ... Happy to see both of them doing something ,,, Atgah as this is his swan song and Todarmal because I am the President of his fan club ... They used some good logic on tracing where food comes from and being suspicious that some guards must be involved. About time! 😆
I am not sure whether to believe the spoiler on Nigaar helping Khaiber for three reasons:
- The process of Nigaar leaving Kabul was too elaborate to be an act
- Nigaar was not needed to get the blood-stained clothes
- Looks like the way Khaiber gets into the palace is because Jalal and Jodha's brothers are distracted by an attack outside of the fort
And, the CVs do not like me, so I am sure I will be wrong. 😆
(3) Finding about the twins: Cute scene again. Hakima sahiba read my mind on Jalal's fears ... Jodha will no longer have any time for him at all!
And of course, the hunar word came back! The forehead kiss was a sweet touch.
By the way, the CVs must have missed our fun post on words that need to be banned from the show. 😆
(4) Jalal- Ruqaiyya interaction , I liked it for four ways it showed that Jalal still cares so much about Ruqs:
- He recognized that Ruqs had been missing from his happy moments
- He did not want to lose her (a subtle warning which I hope serves as a wake-up call)
- He wanted to make sure she did not alienate herself from Jodha and her child as that child would give her the happiness of being called "Ammi"; I do not think Jalal was taking revenge for what Ruq's did to Jodha during the fake pregnancy ... Jalal is above that
- He also said that Jodha did not need him all the time ... Which to me hinted that he would not sideline her because of this
Liked Ruqaiyya's awkward expressions throughout the scenes ... Like she is fighting with her emotions. I hope the saner emotions prevail.
(5) Special note to Ruq's last scene ... I felt Lavina nailed her pain beautifully.
I was trying to think- why did Ruq's not feel this pain during Jodha's fake pregnancy. Then too, she knew she could not be MUZ if that pregnancy was true.
I think it is because now she has lost something bigger- the loving bond she sees between Jodha-Jalal that she thought she could never had.
It was because she never had that security of that loving bond ... She clung on to audhas for security. Now, she neither has the audha or the loving bond for security.
But, I hope the insecurity does not make her do anything more stupid.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on the episode and take?
