- HB has loads of work to do in preparation for Ammi Jaan status...I mean Dadi Jaan status...Your guess is as good as mine as to what all that work entails.
- GB quickly writes down this super happy news and brings all her chronicles and paperwork to Nigar's bedside and kick starts the search for CB.
- MC is sending Khyber as a tohfa to the jashn. She expects one certain outcome, but she doesn't know about our Jodha. Nothing will happen according to her weird plans.
- Suddenly Moti is concerned for Jodha's health and welfare after the mini announcement of the good news by the Shahenshah? She was waiting for it to be official before she stopped Jodha from doing anything strenuous. Good job Jalal came and stopped this ridiculous natak and told Moti to get serious and focus on actually looking after Jodha.
- And I think I have figured out the difference between J and J. Jodha is mindful of duty and strength 24/7. Jalal knows how to switch that on and off depending on the situation. What a grand combination! They only call a truce when their foreheads meet.
I watched the morning after the night before epi from May27 just yesterday in preparation to understand this love story. I was blown away by Jodha's strength, yes strength of character! Jalal has all this latent power in his person. He is the Shahenshah, enough said. But Jodha compliments that very well as his queen. He is relaxed and playful with her, she has something approaching serene confidence in who she is and who he is to her. It was truly a beautiful few minutes and I give the actors, the crew, the CVs all credit. Those wordless scenes from her as she woke up were some of the most touching and powerful ones to me.
Yesterday, it was again the falling into silent embrace and mutual understanding that defines them. But not before a bit of raised voices and rapid verbal fire. This is also them. 😆
ps - can CVs please stop over using the words kartavya and Rajvanshi in EVERY speech Jodha gives? It just erodes the dignity of those words. It also makes Jodha look like she's addressing a crowd and not an intimate conversation with her husband. Just a thought.
