I watch only 2 serials

Maharana Pratap: Its more of 70s bollywood movies where an hero(Dharmender, AB type) smashes 40-50 villans who are themselves dreaded warriors without getting a single injury. Villan is larger than like kind like mogambo(Akbar) and likes to send unique gifts like kadu in blood to hero mom who like typical 70s movies mom faints 😆😆

Jodha Akbar is reverse of taming of shrew story by Shahenshpeare. So here is Jodha who took challenge to tame a shrew Akbar and made him so submissive that he cannot do one single thing without her help. This is like hollywood movies where a scientist literally possesses mind of a man and he follows his commands ike robot. Akbar is the Robot and Jodha is handler.

Jodha Ak(tually) bur(ied) all traces of Jalal and bullied him emotionally into getting her way in everything is a good description. But she has not bullied him she has controlled him his mind like a robot following her orders and wishes.

I pity the condition of these great historical figures have been reduced too especially Akbar

Anita, great to see you back ! Loved the post as I am an avid serial watcher so some additional thoughts

Diya Aur Baati: Suraj is not quite in the sidelines yet ... This show teaches you how tracks are built with the husband and wife working together and not going against. and the CVs have a wonderful trick called - things will almost go wrong but then turn positive ... Result: audience is waiting in suspense and pleasantly surprise

Kumkum Bhagya : It was Ekta's attempt to have her CV team read Sense and Sensibility ...I heard it did not work or rather I am witnessing it 😆

Doli Armaanon Ki: It tells that dreams get carried away from us ... Like our dreams for this show

Do Dil Se Bandhi Dor: This is a treatment that Jodha-Jalal need ... When will we see the dor that brings them together instead of brings them apart?

Fear Files: The new inspiration for Jodha Akbar 😉

Jodha Akbar: What can I say, you said it all! 👏
