Indore : TV actress Paridhi Sharma Joddha' was in the city to promote School Chale Hum' drive at Sri Satya Sai Vidhya Vihar auditorium.

Over 600 students, brought by the NGO, attended the drive.

Mayor KM Moghe, District Collector Akash Tripathi along with Paridhi distributed authorization letters' to 7 NGOs of the city, who are working to educate underprivileged kids of the city to utilise government school during evening hours for running their classes.

Dharm Bharti Service Society, Neev, Manu Memorial Educational Institution, Shri Academy Social Education Committee, Madhusha Social Service Committee and Lion's Club of Indore City were among those NGOs who have been given the authorization letters from the district administration.

Mesmerizing performances by rag-pickers, mentally-challenged kids were the major attractions of the programme, as they portrayed their problems.

It has come as a major concern that parents of the kids belonging to under-privileged sections of the society are asked to send their children to school because they want them to work and add to the family income.

With the help of NGOs, the administration identified those kids who are away from the reach of schools but are availing education under these NGOs.

And, now these kids will be able to have their classes in Government schools during evening hours.

Paridhi on this occasion played the role of a school teacher and inspired students to go to schools by giving examples of great leaders of the country like BR Ambedkar, former president and Rocket man of India APJ Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kids were overjoyed to have their favorite TV actress among them and were fighting to shake hand with her.
