There are so much antipathy towards both of the characters..I just want people to extract positivity from each track..There is no other mean to find out logical characterization as they were now very much keen riding along with ratings..So its cv's fault in flicking their sketches then and there..Ekta promised a show JA based on human emotional side based on historical facts , focused with political aspects too..Now ,actually sketches drawn out based on their tagline , as their scripts revolving around JA which was dealing with inner emotions , pain ,guilt traversing all way in concerned characters.. I agreed ,he is a splendid and true warrior , but how can he overcome all his difficulties without any flaws ?? ..He had undergone many wars in that century right..? who knows that he might got trapped from any of his enemies , he too have undergone some challenging persona included emotional turmoil, fighting for a truth, ..Why people can't view akdha under one frame..That was a pure logic by cv's who were penned down scripts in current tracks, that was a actual equivalence sustained in their tagline..In initial around 250 episodes we got some golden moments and memorable episodes , which includes best in intruding some real facts fused with some reel scripts ..If people really wants a historical facts then they must switch off to Akbar-The great show ..This show completely based on historical epic saga , in which concerned leads crossing all hurdles , toughest patches , gambling cards played around kingdom dealing with political aspects and successful journey in sorting out issues on political administration including wars...As this show never promised as male centric one or female centric one its always a beautiful combo of JA..We can see their compatibility , divergence ,empathy dealing with unconditional love , trust and emotional bonding traversing through out their journey..Its not Jo or Ja turn its all a combined task ..! love and adore them equally..! JA rocks..! ❤️

Ekta had a vast research before propounding this project..Right now she is playing her cards as it goes on battle field in chasing race..So it doesn't mean everytime to criticize the actors or actress...Better she knows to handle it well...Let us enjoy the drama...😊

I also love Akbar but more as a person who became a great ruler rather than a superhuman who could never make a mistake. 😊

@blue: love it.

Radhika, a nice take but surely I can't see Jalal was degraded in this track. neither they are showcasing Jodha as great. The fact they are trying to show is that Even a great king who think and write history with his sword can also go weak when it comes to his family. Here they are showing how eager Jalal was to share his love & affection with his just acquired sister for whose love & affection, he had been looking for ever since he has been a child. Just because my brother or sister thought bad of me will keep me at bay if I notice them being in problem. Even before realizing what I am doing, I will be at their service and would try to help them out of the crisis and later I might go back to the same mode or they may not even acknowledge my support but that doesn't dampen my spirit and I will be hell bent to help them. And it is the same case with my husband and he will rush to his people at moment of need and at that moment, if I need some support while he is away, I will have to take care of me and that doesn't diminish his virtue and he will not feel bad that I helped myself in times of need.

If by taking care of my need on my own makes others feel that I made my husband look foolish, the it is their fault. And if I feel my husband should not have rushed to his sister or brother's rescue then it is my fault and if my husband feels I should have waited till he comes back to support me, then it is his fault.
If we should feel that Jodha and others should not have fought for their virtue and it would have been better for them to consume poison, the moment they heard about the death of Jalal, then we would not have seen so many widows, say like Hamida Banu & Maham Anga. What was their fault even if Jalal would have been dead, if they had fought for their life and modesty, why they should be blamed? Who has told that the royal women had to consume poison or commit Jouhar the minute they hear about their husbands death? That should be their last resort but before that they have all the right to live their life.

beautiful Post..love it...

All my antipathy is directed towards the CVS. ...none at all towards their puppets, ie Jalal, Jodha, Ruqu, etc...

When we criticise Jo, say for Nari Shakti track in Todarmal case, (where Jo's behaviour was totally over the roof top ), it goes without saying that the cvs have come up with a most ridiculous track, wherein, at the end, we had both TM & his wife singing chants & hymns in Jo's praise 😆 when it actually warranted a totally opposite reaction from them, at least ...

Ekta's Jo & Ekta's Jalal are totally fictionalised characters to rope in TRPS. . .the super awesome female, without whom the petty male cannot survive...There is absolutely no reason y we need to compare the real MUZ with Ekta's Jo...N same for Jalal..

.I truly believe that the real MUZ was an admirable lady, beyond compare...but except for the last 2 epis, I usually laugh out loud at the antics of Ekta's Jo...😆

Yes, some of us are not too happy with Jo's characterization most of the time, & we do make it obvious, but that does not mean we are her mothers- in law trying to pick faults in her..😆..We just don't like the crap which the cvs dish out for us...

IF is a popular platform which most PHs stalk, hence we put up critical posts to catch their attention...its just that...people who are happy with the way things are, needn't visit those threads, or if they visit, they can agree to disagree in a dignified way...simple. The negativity on the forum is NOT due to criticism of Jo...it is due to criticism of forum members...asking them to leave the forum...asking them to watch other shows.

Radhika, this has nothing to do with antipathy for Jo...it is only antipathy for Ekta's CVs. ...😊

@blue
Exactly. IF is an open platform and anybody can visit any thread. They can selectively ignore threads which they don't agree with or simply agree to disagree, if they get into a debate. But that is not what happens here. People report threads which they feel insults their favorite characters or dissects the story too much. And that is something practiced by both the fan groups. Sadly this is something which has been extended to history discussions too

Not very democratic or open, is it?

Jo is being Jo..but Jalal is not himslef anymore... guess that's the peeve. besides all the women fought really well. it would be good to praise all instead of just one... off course its the writers fault. it should have been taken care of.
your post is good

Radhika, a great post!

I can't help but marvel at what kind of a society we live in. It is the same people who will stand up to make men and women equal but at the same time bash a character and blame her for butchering another character! What kind of double standards are these? Were those women supposed to accept their fate and kill themselves? Don't they have the right to fight back against the man who had set his sights on them? Is it only the man who has to save the woman? Can't the woman defend herself? Why is she always expected to be the quintessential damsel in distress?
Personally, I am unfazed about all the character butchering happening in the show, I just take things as they come. I agree some facts get easily distorted under the guise of dramatization. This war itself is fictional! Why is no one criticising that aspect? Doesn't that constitute as butchering of history as well? I agree that they are showing Akbar stupid at times, but don't we all end up doing silly and idiot when we get emotional? Isn't Akbar a human as well? Now that he has discovered his heart, won't he feel basic emotions on seeing his long-lost sister?
The biggest mistake that is being made here is that without thinking and analysing the plot further, we have started bashing characters! The precap clearly showed that things were different than what we perceived them to be! Yet Jodha was getting bashed yesterday! For what? She had just galvanised the women of the harem to fight for themselves! I still don't get how was she involved in Jalal's capture and subsequent entrapment!
I neither like Jalal nor Jodha more! I like them both equally! To me they both are strong personalities. They are the two sides of the same coin and cannot be pulled apart!
😳

Terrific, Samanika! ⭐️
