Hi guys, they have not shown Jalal as stupid or fool but they have tried to show how much he values for his family and how much he valued his father's words even without knowing first handed. They showed that even though his sister was ready to chop off his head, the moment he realizes that she has been wronged by those whom she believed he tried hard to save her. The moment she cried out to his ( though crocodile tears to trap him), he was a pure soul when t=it comes to his family and he believed her words at the face value and went along with her without even thinking that his sister, the Humayun's blood can back stab him.

Really Bollywood has been doing this for years.Nowadays only,we see some women oriented films mostly done by Vidya And Kangana ,now a new one of Rani.But still the big budget ones like Dhoom and all have girls as eye candy.

We do see a film here and there with now actresses having equal role.But this trend has started in this decade or so.Before that it was like the Villian raping the girl and girl crying," Bhagwan ke like hum ko chod dijiye." And she waiting helplessly for the hero to come.

I agree with you that taking the help of the queen does not make the king weak. My mom used to say that even a gold plate needs support to stand upright. That doesn't make the value of the gold plate any less.

I also agree Akbar being a pure soul trusted his sister, even though she had shown her ugly side to him earlier. Good people are generally perceived as weak and/or foolish. That is what is happening with Akbar also. 😊
