Shehnaaz Maham scene yesterday had felt incomplete, and today we saw its continuation. A grand salute to Maham's genius. No wonder this lady rose from a soldier's wife to wazir-e-aliya's status. And looks like she's got a worthy opponent in Faizal Beg. 👏 (And Shenu's not Jallu's brother 😆) And yes she has got the classic Mughal phenomenon of spilling your beans to the wrong person.

Love Maham ... Faizal Bag seemed sharp today as well. let'a have them duel- it will be more entertaining

MCB - Agreed marriage for convenience was the way back then, but, the presentation of the scene was very crude. No mother would talk to her daughter like that in front of a non-family member. Timurid clan was known as much for its feuding relatives as for civility. And if MCB can't shake off a puny little guy stationed in Kabul by Jallu how is she so confident of shaking off Jalaal?

At least the crudeness was just not focused on cruelty but tact ... It seemed a bit softer to me.

Coming to observations:

1. That chandelier in the court was the only grand thing, even that disappeared.

Budget issues ... Hence, the downsized Meena Bazaar

2. Ruqaiyya beghum, swords are not chosen by the amount of crystals on them (horror) but, by their sharpness, balance etc. Please, take help from Jo, and not your kitty party friends.

4. Jo should have listened to suggestion that she give Jallu Angrakha. God knows he needs some more clothes, given that his new clothes were stitched with Adham's measurements.

Divi, hats off u saw positives in Jodha's behavior today, I am highly disappointed.. she not only refused Jalal but also deprived us to see a romantic night-spending with Jalal!!!😭 I mean Jalal was so romantically requesting her, and at that moment MB was more important to her!?🥱 like seriously?🤔and she said Jalal is the one who has no time!?😲 isnt he the one keeps running after her and she is the busy spouse here?

I kinda liked Chukchuk's scene today..coz it progressed in political front..like today morning Abhay was saying Fazail Beg (MahaC's sidekick) killed his own nephew! today, we got a hint of this when Chukchuk was talking about how Munim Khan's son that is Fazail Beg's nephew causing troubles for her.

I guess I was a little disappointed today. I was hoping the story to move forward a little faster. Here we are still stuck with surang mystery. I guess we will have to wait one more week. We need to see Shenu blaming TM and then the war and then the surang mystery.
