Chapter 6

Hey guys before you read ahead am sorry this is a short chap I promised a long one so am sorry again😭😊

With that I sent jodha her first clue, then she finds the second one then the third one, just then suddenly I hear someone yell their loudest.

Voice: BAAS BOHOT HO GAYA!!!!

I turn to see shreya there

Jalal: shreya tum yaha kya karr rahi ho

Shreya: baas jalal abhi bohot ho gaya I am not going to let you ruin her life, please don't do this her jalal you go it all wrong. She sobs

Jalal: what're trying to say( slightly confused)

Shreya: the truth jalal, jodha didn't cheat on you neither did she sent that text

Tears come out of my eyes again, but then how could I trust her I mange to choke out some words.

Jalal: you are her friend and I don't think I can trust you either

Shreya: belive it or not jalal you trust the wrong people and one of them is that wicked, obnoxious and spoiled RUKAIYA!!

My blood boils as she is trying to defend the girl who betrayed my love, and she is raising her finger towards rukaiya the one whom I trust with all my heart from childhood.

Jalal: SHUT UP SHREAY KYA KAHA TUMNE GOD RUKAIYA WAS THE ONE WHO TOLD ME

Shreya: THE LIES JALAL! YOU WANT THE BLOODY PROOF!!

This time I keep my mouth shut not that I wanted to but my mind tell me to keep quiet and listen to her. I look at shreya who's cheeks are shining with tears she basically shouts the next words.

Shreya: SACH YEH HAI KI RUKIAYA WAS THE ONE WHO SENT THE TEXT I SAW HER BECAUSE WHEN SHE CAME TO JODHA COZ SHE WANTED TO " TALK" TO HER, SHE SAID SHE WANTED TO SEE HER IPHONE'S CASE AND WHEN JODHA WENT TO TALK TO MOTI MAIN WAHA THI AND I SAW HER TEXTING SOEMTHING BUT THEN SHE BRUSHED IT OFF PRETENDING TO PLAY GAMES. AND I DIDN'T TAKE IT THAT SERIOUSLY . THEN SAW HER GOING THROUGH THE PHOTOS OF JODHA AND A MAN, AND BY THAT TIME I KNEW SHE WAS UP TO NO GOOD JALAL THAT MAN WAS JODHA'S ADOPTED BROTHER RITHIK!!.

After these words that were screamed at me, I basically collapse to the ground beneath me my legs to weak to support me my heart is throbbing my head is aching. I can't think my tears makes my vision blur and everything inside me screams I have no words to speak.

Shreya: jalal I know you are thinking ki yeh sab mujha kaise baata for sure coz before we went to manali trip and when everybody was busy packing I went in to the security lab and uploaded the footage from a camera to my phone. And that was my only chance to do it without getting caught , she comes towards ne and shows me the footage, where rukaiya is complimenting jodha's iphone case and jodha leaves the screen zooms in automatically which is showing rukaiya texting the text she showed me then changes it before jodha comes and pretends to play something.

After seeing the footage I close my eyes praying hard enough that this was all a dream and am gonna wake up any moment and everything is back to normal I don't know how long it took me to realize that isn't going to happen. I open my eyes shreya is saying something to me but I hear nothing but one thing jodha's name echoing in my ears over and over again her giggles , her confession to me saying she loves me. Tears fall freely down my cheeks I get up trying to support myself I fume with rage and hatred towards rukaiya the one I trusted blindly. Omg the gift, the scavenger hunt... JODHA!!.

Shreya jalal jaldi jao before it's too late

I nod quickly and run towards the forest, I reach a section of the forest where a designed tent is set up this was where jodha was supposed to come and receive her gift and read the note rukaiya made. I ran fast as I can determined to get the letter before jodha does I nearly lose my balance when I enter the tent. Tears again come out of my eyes when I see jodha's condition. She has fallen and to the ground but yet she is sitting sideways almost like a lifeless statue tears continually come out her diamond eyes and In her hand is the note she stares contact less.

I run towards jodha, she is there almost like she doesn't see anyone and the world is invisible to her, my heart breaks into a million pieces seeing her like this. I am dying inside my own breath seems to betray me.

Jalal: jodha...

Jodha doesn't reply she doesn't even blink her white dupatta falling off her shoulder.

Jalal: ... jodha... I cry out for her but again no reply

Jalal: jodha... please I know I don't deserve to talk to you right now but

Jodha: ( she speaks in the lightest voice ever) did... you ...ever ...love me?? She isn't even looking at me I shatter when I hear this.

Jalal: jodha... mera baat tho sunho

Jodha: haan ya nah

Jalal: ... haan

Jodha: ( she know screams out ) JOOT SAAB JOOT!!

She gets up and grabs my collar aggressively .

Jalal: jodha please mera baat tho sunho

Jodha: oh am sorry is there more you need to say to me sure, go ahead I rather be dead than you do this to me.

She lets go of my collar and pushes me back just then rukaiya comes there.

Rukaiya mind thought: that stupid shreya wo saab sachi jalal ko baat diya jalal if I cant have you then jodha cant have you.

I come towards her and slaps her tight the slap was so hard she falls to the ground I fume with rage which is uncontrollable but then again I can't believe my best friend would betray me like this feed me with lies I hold on to her shoulders and get her to her feet again.

Jalal: I TRUSTED YOU AND YOU PURPOSELY GOT ME INTO THE WRONG PATH

Rukaiya mind thought: jalal I don't care right now I am fed up)

Rukaiaya: ( fake cry) jalal hum neh kaha thana I told you not to do this aur abhi you are giving me the punishment.

Jalal: say the truth for once rukaiya

Rukaiaya: I am ( she pushes me away and goes towards jodha) jodha you better no break down kyu ki jalal neh yaha ek hidden camera rak diya so he can post it on the net and show everyone a rajavanshi breaking down.

Jodha looks at me she is no longer angry just hurt and emptied out like I took her life away from her Wait rukaiya never told me anything about a hidden camera?.

Jalal: what are you saying rukaiya please tell her the truth paar jodha shreya ki paas

When she said that is where I felt like a thousand knifes plunged in to my heart, I wanted to shoot myself die, I felt suffocated my own breathe is choking me I blood felt numb and cold I know longer knew how to speak .

Rukaiya: jodha I know

Jodha: AND DON'T YOU DARE COME NEAR ME EVER AGAIN RUKIAYA OR I SWEAR TO GOD KI MAIN TUMHE CHODONGI NAHI.

With that she runs out of the tent, for moment or two I just stand there broken , if I am feeling like this I can't imagine how she would be feeling right now I run behind her.

Jodha POV

I run away from that hell which still seems to approach me, I don't know where am going I just run away from that monster everything inside me dies as am running I jump though a wired fence my knees graze through the spiked fence but unaware that I went beyond the boundaries of the jungle. My legs to weak to run any further I basically collapse to the ground resting my head beneath the dried out leaves, I close my eyes how could a perfect night turn out to be a living nightmare.

Jalal: my dear jodha if you succeed in this scavenger hunt you will receive a gift at the end, first clue: where red is shown the most

Oh jalal is so sweet I thought where red is shown the most the rose gardens I thought I run towards the garden leaving the group confused of my sudden action.

I reach the gardens and the fountain has a note near it, I walk towards the note it has my second clue written it I find the second one then the third one. The fourth one I had difficulties so basically I am stuck in the middle of nowhere. I look around there and here but still can't find anything I get panicked the atmosphere didn't feel safe I run back to the direction I came from I hear someone shouting I can't hear word by word though. I sit in middle of the forest pinching my side as it aches and gasping for air I have been running for ages. Several minutes has passed finally I understand what the fourth one meant when I arrive to the section I see a blue designer tent big enough to fit at least 10 people I can't help but blush I sprint towards the tent my final place when I enter it the place was decorated with roses, rose petals lying freely on the ground and mirror danglers. It looked stunning but can't seem to find Jalal anywhere then my eyes are drawn towards a huge silver and golden crusted box I walk towards it and open it and finds a letter, a smile plastered on my face and opens up the letter it read

Dear jodha,

Tumhe kya laga ki main tumse pyaar ho gaya , well sorry to disappoint you but sach yeh hai ki main tum he khabi nahi pyaar kaar tha thi. You where just there like the other girls I had in my life someone to hook up with someone I can do anything I want all those times you were with me I hated you, kyu ki tum ek rajanavshi thi I hated them all my life. I have heard that rajvanshi's are very intelligent but obviously I proved you wrong. I find you foolish, characterless and nature-less , I just wanted you to be there coz tum koobsoorat hai. So tum hari saath kuch karne ki liya meri pass time nahi hai samjhi.

After reading this I collapse to the floor, tears coming out of my eyes I can't hear , there are no words I can speak my senses become numb, I can't believe that this is happening to me, no this must be joke right my tears sock some part of the letter. I shut my eyes quickly hoping this is a dream I can't believe that jalal is doing this to me after all he said to me done to me, everything inside me screams I cry bitterly the reality hit me heard knocking my soul out I hate myself for being such a fool I have been used as a puppet. The thought of jalal never loving me killed me that thought itself the knife in my heart went deeper, I sob loudly and cry into my knees.

As I lay there on top of the dried out leaves, I can feel that the monster is coming behind me calling my name, again I get up and start running as fast as I can my shaken body aches just then the ground falls. I fall on my stomach , Am in a rather large hole I hear a sudden snap whatever it is going through my flesh and clenching my bones of my ankle I cry in agony of pain just moments later after that my vision fades and all I see is pitch darkness.

Jalal POV

I run and cry bitterly never in my whole life have I cried this much so much fear hitting me at once haunting me, mocking me. I call her name but still no reply how could I trust a traitor and entrust a innocent soul all of this is making me drown I can't even come up for a little bit of air.

Jalal: JODHA... JODHA KAHA HO TUM??

I look around my surrounding none of it looks familiar , I don't even know which way to go back but I intend to find jodha no matter what she can't be left alone at this time not when her heart I broken into a million pieces. God only knows what she could be thinking now.

Jalal: yeh khuda hamara jodha ko

Just then I see a wired fence bended as I go closer to it I see stains of blood on it, wait did she go here yeh khuda what was she thinking I jump over the fence aware of the danger that creeps around the boundaries of the forest I run around the area and suddenly I see a massive hole in front of me, I carefully go towards it. What I see is something I thought would never happen there she was lying lifeless, a pool of blood around her hair all messed up her salwar tuned pink from the bottom half and her skin looks pale almost bloodless. My heart is bleeding am suffocating under my own breathe without even thinking I jump into the hole. And it is then I realize that she has gotten into a animal trap it was on her ankle I try to call her out but nothing came out of my mouth for a moment I felt weak to see her like this worse it was because of me.
