Love is in the air so is jealousy in Zee TV's much loved love story Jodha Akbar'. Begum-e-khash of Mughal Empire, Rukaiya Begum's possessiveness for Shehenshah Jalal is overpowering her senses as Jalal and Jodha Begum's closeness escalates. Rukaiya's rage of jealousy is sky-high after she found out that Jodha and Jalal have consummated their marriage and gradually Jodha Begum is becoming more important to Shehenshah than her. So in order to prevent the brewing closeness between Jalal and Jodha, Rukaiya is implanting several games to keep them apart.

First she asked Jodha to serve her throughout her pregnancy period on a pretense that she doesn't trust any servants in the palace and Jodha is the only with good heart who can take care of her despite the clashes they have in past. The proposal is duly accepted by Jodha ; now Rukaiya is trying hard to engage Jodha in her Hojra taking care of her so that Jodha won't be able to go meet Jalal often. As if that is not enough, Rukaiya Begum even sends servants to intervene Jodha and Jalal in between their intimate private moments and fakes illness to draw Jalal and Jodha's attention to solely her.

However, her efforts are proving futile for Jodha and Jalal's heart still continue to beat in unison even in the distances created by Rukaiya. The fact of the futility of her attempts, however, is pretty well acknowledged by Rukaiya Begum as well. In such scene, it is possible that Rukaiya Begum can scheme more dangerous conspiracy for separating the lovers. While on one hand Rukaiya is planting games against Jodha, on the other hand Jalal is contemplating to give special political and regal decisive powers to Jodha.

Meanwhile, Zee TV is broadcasting a mahaepisode of the show slated for coming Saturday at seven in the evening. The mahaepisode is supposedly going to focus on the mystery and conspiracy related to Badshah Humayu. So what's next in Jodha and Jalal's life? Will the upcoming track of resolving the mystery of Badshah Humayu bring Jodha and Jalal closer or Rukaiya Begum's games will be successful in creating the distances between the couple?
