I agree with Divya here Mandy, after all the show is about Jodha and Akbar's love life, yes they need to show his achievements as well and it will be shown with drama only and will be shown that Jodha was always associated with him in all these achievements, one thing is for sure, if we want to watch it with expectations of lot of political and wars being shown, I doubt we will ever get it, we should watch it keeping our expectations low or say without expectations, then we will enjoy it.😆

So, here are my five songs, dedicated to the key players in today's episode as my take 5:

(1) Ruqaiyya: Hum Aapke Hain Kaun? (Movie: Hum Aapke Hai Kaun)

In all seriousness, that is what Ruqaiyya wants assurance is on what her place is in Jalal's life is ... And she wants to be the most important one. Sadly, she kept forcing an answer she wanted to hear, "Do you love me?"

She is very likely faking the pregnancy, and Jalal is not sure when he was with her. But he doesn't question her. If she used her brain,she will realise that is GREAT LOVE

Of course, Jalal "loves" Ruqaiyya as a friend ... And there is no way he could have answered in any way, given what he thought her condition was.

He spoils her to bits, what more proof of love she wants?

If we liked Jalal being all lovey-dovey with Jodha in front of Ruqs, we need to be okay with Jalal saying "yes" to Ruq's mohabhat question ...

Err...I am not okay with Jalal being OTT Lovey Dovey with Jodha. But I think I accept the fact that there will be a different temperature to the room when the both are together. And Jalal saying he loves Rukaiya is totally fine, and should be so. Where is the law that says you can only love ONE? Total rubbish.

And there really was no romantic love in the way he answered the question at all ...

I agree. And I also feel sorry for Rukaiya for not realising that. For there is no sense is trying to pain Jodha with all this Drama, when she can never have what Jalal has given Jodha.

It was an assurance to a best friend that he will always be there for her. Anyways, it was "dost wala love" and not "ishq wala love"

I don't totally agree with this though.

(2) Jodha: Radha Kaise Ne Jale (Movie: Lagaan)

Every time Jalal assures Jodha that she is his Radha ...

Arggh...someone please pull my brain out...I cannot stand the comparison with Radha-Krishna

I can't help but think of this song. Did I see tiny hints of jealousy or at least a "what is going on" when Ruqs was falling over Jalal? Yes, you have very good eyes my dear. Jodha was not in the least happy with that.

Of course, Jodha genuinely cares for Ruqs ...

Jodha cares for everything under the sky!!

But I love to see signs of her being human.

How??

(3) Jalal: Yeh Main Kahan Aake Fas Gaya (Movie: Shararat) ; I kid you not such a song exists! There were two times Jalal looked completely lost and Rajat gives those eyes running around everywhere look ...

- When Ruqaiyya kept asking him "Do you love me?"

- And why Zakira kept saying she didn't do anything wrong when she pushed Rahim? Jalal must have thought- not another one like Shehnaaz ... Why did ever think of her saving her!

Jalal, while this is all cute, there are other political matters to attend to , don't you think? How about the embezzlement Todarmal was investigating? I want Todarmal to get dialogues again!

I want todarmal. period. Or until he too is turned into stupid

(4) Shehnaaz: "Aaj Na Chodunga tujhe, Dum Dama Dum, Tune Kya Samjha Hai Mujhe Dum Dama Dum" (Movie: Dil)

Loved the way Shehnaaz dealt with Adham Khan ... She was to the point and gave him a long-deserved slap!

Today I loved her. I find her creepy, and I find her looking around for stuff that can help with her maksat so iritating because I don't know what exactly is her maksat. But that slap...uff...how I love her. And can she also give the same compliment to Shariffuddin? I think he deserve it more. At least AK does not pretend to be good and doesn't leech after another man's wife!!

Jodha, please learn from her on how to give people back what they deserve!

Yes, a slap to Rukaiya will be merciful to all of us...not because I want Jodha to slap her...I want someone to slap her out of the stupidity. Arrggghhh...

(5) For us (the poor viewers) and what we want Jalal to sing to Jodha: Hum Tum Ek Kamre mein Bandh ho aur chaabi ko jaaye (Movie: Bobby) ...

The Jodha-Jalal scene was cute but missed only one thing ... Doors, and that to with a big lock!

HAHAHA...Love the song selection Div. Totally apt. And love your wish for a door.

I liked how Jalal complained of neck pain this time (If Ruq's knew, she would have strangled that very neck)... How creative compared to heart pain! He got Jodha-style love in return: "lep and maalish"

But I wonder...is there always a table full of lep ingredients wherever Jodha goes??

I loved how Jalal wanted Jodha to get more involved in siyasat and take the role that Maham Anga had in his life ... I thought that gesture spoke volumes about his respect for Jodha.

I thought different. I thought it was a very stupid move. All jodha going to do is ask him to forgive everyone and find the most out of space illogical excuse to why they did the crime. She is bad at judging character so far, that is already a first no to be his advisor. And most importantly NO ONE can replace MA. I miss her...I really do. I need the mirch that MA brings...show has been on overdose of mittai...

Jodha, in her typical style, refused because of Ruqs, to get another Hunar award from Jalal. But, I thought it was cute the way he said "Hunar bada pyaara hai" with the word "pyaara" being more informal and endearing.

You are a total romantic and I cannot fault you for that. But I find this non-stop praising of Jodha and that too on the OTT level a bit too hard to digest for me. Shoot me...but I just wish he will be a little toned down and make her human instead of something of a test tube of hunar explosion.

And they were almost coming towards a kiss to be interrupted again by a baandi ... Was it just me or did BOTH Jodha and Jalal look equally disappointed!

I was disappointed...!!!

Without doors, I have very little hope for the gift Jodha will give Jalal ... But, let's hope for the best ... at least, Jodha is getting bolder in the precap and that is a great sign!
