totally with you. Also in real life from what I read Akbar did not talk to Ruks for almost 7 years..
No historical book or account or chronice ever mentions what you have written about jodha not allowed to meet khurram. Can you pls mention source? I do not think mughals wrote such personal accounts about their private life's otherwise too.
The fact that ruqiah does not allow jodha and salim to meet khurram is written in the fiction book on mughals.
Also no historical book mentions that Akbar never spoke to Ruqaiah for 7 years. Akbar was very close to Ruqaiah so handed over Khurram to her to be brought up in timurid culture. The power Ruqaiah had in mughal court and Akbar's decision can be gauged by her and Salima's support helped jehangir become emperor agianst akbar's wisgh for khusrau who had powerful backing of man singh, rahim and aziz koka. Also fact that jehangir did not remove her from empress of mughal empire position till her death despite being smitten by nur jahan also shows her power. And jehangir himself mentioned ruqaiah took care of khurram better than an own mother. He never mentinoned any restrictions in meeting khurram. Also the fact that both he and khurram went to visit her father's grave in kabul with her, jehangir twice show they have no animosity with her. Shah Jahan was close to his mother jodha and when she died he was very upset and he built her a very big tomb in agra which was sold by british and demolished by owners. So khurram had close relation with jodha too and loved her a lot like any son would do a mother. It was nur jahan who forced him to become orthodox muslim by her manipulations to get acceptability as future emperor not ruqaiah.
Murad born to cocubbine was given to Salima and Daniyal to Hira Kunwari to be brought up. That was the culture of those times in mughals. Similarly Akbar gave khurram to Ruqaiah.
Apart from this anything else written is not historical facts but just fiction
