you know ann what makes me sympathise with Ruku is that every one is calling her every name but no one is blaming Jallu for her condition...She is what Jallu and that set up made her...and her audha and her power over Jallu's mind were the only faithful things that she could rely upon and she clinged to them.....Dont forget Ruku's age , she is younger then both JJ...How could she have made Jallu her own? Will Jo ever be able to do it?...Why should she be kind to Jo? It is completely unrealistic? Was Jo willing to share Jallu when she saw him with Ruku?Did she bring herself to congratulate him on being a father?...If we cant blame Jo then we should also try to understand this 20 years old who is going to lead a very lonely life...

@Ela,we all know that what action of romance they showed?but for me the impact of dialogue and Their eyelock was mindblowing and enough to create romantic atmosphere.Totally loved it.Originally posted by: elasingh
pyaar se bhara pyaara episode tha...you sound very romantic tonight dear...episode ka asar hai kya.?
How can anyone blame Jalal for her state? They didn't even spend so much time together! Poor Ruq had to use a farman to make Jalal spend time with her 😆But has followed him to the 'T'. He never actually taught her all this. They spent really less time together even before Jo's entry. She was intelligent and observed him. So, indirectly she started epitomizing Jalal. Started to be aggressive, rude and learnt power was supreme. Something that even Jalal believed in before Jo's entry. Added to that, no matter how confident a face she puts on, she is afraid of Jalal. Have you noticed she never opposes him??No one can make Jalal theirs. But they can definitely try. Ruqaiya didn't even show that inclination. And Jo will never haat-maaro another begum's time with Jalal deliberately. Jodha will seethe in jealousy and cry to herself but will never antagonize another begum for her mental peace. All of which Ruqaiya will do to achieve her end.
Forget good wife, Rukayya is not even a good friend!
Ruk's constant rants about aukat and galati and ye bardasht nahi karenge, maaf nahi karenge is just a small reflection of her immense arrogance. Who is Ruk to say maaf nahi karenge, Jodha has done nothing that she should ask for Ruk's forgiveness - it should be the other way round!
I do not feel sympathy for Rukayya cos she never gave respect to anyone, she did not care about anyone but herself and what she wants. Why should anybody care about her hurts - did she EVER care about how Jodha felt.
Forget about now when Ruk feels threatened by Jodha - even than can be understood - (again her insecurity is not cos of love but cos she cares about her audha and control over Jalal) - but when Jodha was new in Agra and was no threat. Did Ruk ever treat her with respect?!
How can anyone feel any sympathy for Ruk? This is the same Ruk who made Jodha sleep in the open - the same Jodha who was recovering from poison which she drank to save Jalal's life - which Rukayya had put at risk - on a trip which Jodha made with Jalal. How can ANY woman do this to another???
I can go on and on about Ruk's selfishness. I do not feel any sympathy for her.
Jalal told Jodha she is the ONLY one who recognized his dreams - why couldn't Ruk who is with him since childhood and his so called best friend? Ruk who does not care about causing him humiliation in announcing a fake pregnancy to spite Jodha. No sympathy for Ruk.

watched the episode...Job well done by the whole team...The initial conversation and confession was important to take Jodha as well as our mind away from the Ruklal and pregnancy announcement scene...Mission was accomplished with finesse.I agree with most forum friends...the SR scene was aesthetically pleasing...To me this was one of their best executed episodes.Ela, I understand what you are saying ...I am a wife too and don't question the fact that something like this can't be easy for any wife to watch...However, all human beings go through some kind of painful experience in their life...Some accept it gracefully and make the most of their situation ...while others become bitter, selfish , vengeful and don't shy away from hurting innocent people to get what they want...Ruk is clearly selfish, arrogant and ruthless and cannot be put in the same category as an innocent woman who watches her husband go to other women...She wasn't an isolated case of polygamy in those times...Both Hamida and Mainavati were married to men with multiple wives...They were not anything like Ruk ...An undesirable situation cannot be used to justify inappropriate conduct...Girls in those days got married young...At least Ruk had people like GB,HB and Jalal who were good to her...some of these brides had none...Ruks behavior to a large extent is a choice...She is after all considered the Gary Kasparov of Agra and has the insight to know right from wrong...Jalal and Jodha changed for the better...Ruk decided to change for the worse...In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility...Eleanor Roosevelt.
