Divi,
I wasn't sure, if you'd post today. So am posting here. 😊

Today's episode, was beautiful in that in, it explored the various aspects of JoJa relationship.

For one thing, Jodha, now that she realizes how she feels for Jalaal, wastes no time being assertive. Of course she's not aggressive about it. Whether it was the way she subtly indicated that she would like him to talk to her about how he feels and not to her painting, or her blushes that were a silent go-aheads to his musings, and his tentative looks.

Second, she realizes Ruqaiyya was, is and will always be Jalaal's closest friend. Jalaal may have found an anchor in her, but, Ruqaiyya, has no one but, himself, so she will always give Ruqaiyya her space. This was evident, when she asked to leave twice after Ruqaiyya came in.

Third, she felt bad for Jalaal, when she realized how much Maham's betrayal might have hurt him. Agreed she was never close to Maham, and her relations with the lady can be at best be described as cold, but, she didn't let that come in her way. Even while rebuking Maham, she, spoke about her breaking Jalaal's heart, not maligning her.

Coming to Jalaal,

The dude'd taken off to lala-land for sure, given how he was blushing and smiling to himself, at the start of the scene.

I really liked the way he spoke of Jodha, and him wanting her to stay with him always. Cute!

He looked ecstatic to see his beghum there, I loved the way he gave her prasad. I see a season of blush for some time now. 😆

He's one smooth operator, given how he positioned the portrait of Jodha. 😈

I feel in a very subtle way he also showed Ruq her place when he placed Jo's painting. Remember he had asked the bandhi to put it on the table earlier?

Ruqaiyya

Grow up!

If she knows and controls Jalaal's dimaag, the way she claims she does, how couldn't she see through his plot in placing Jodha's portrait, where he can always see it.

A few observations,
1. Apparently, Moti has not been doing a thorough job of keeping Jo up-to-date about goings-on of Agra. Jo was clueless about Javeda's blabber.
2. God created man, then he created woman, then he created Jodha. Malign her name, make her life hell, and she'll confront you with a shuddh Hindi bhaashan, about something so obscure, you'll have nothing else to do than keep your jaw from falling.
3. Jodha's daily duties were neatly delegated to others in her absense, Tulsi watering and Puja to Jallu, pigeon-feeding to Salima. I wonder who did the sword-fights.
4. What is that tiny window in Jalaal's hojra? It's cute! I mean, it's indoor, but, still blasts air at you, how does it work? I think it's a 16th century AC complete with a jharoka.
5. Why does Jalaal look so tanned? He's looking like a beach-bum of late.
6. Jalaal's face in the painting looked like Hamida had fed him triphala churna before posing for it. The painting in itself told of Ruqaiyya's attitude. Her sitting on the throne, and Jalaal, standing behind her? Learn to respect your friend at least girl!

Precap, again looked pretty. Again both are in same clothes. Hmmm, nice way of keeping those TRPs coming CVs.

All in all wonderful episode! 👍🏼

Raksha, thanks so much for posting! Loved all your observations and thoughts- you should do a daily thread and I will post it there.

Yes, won't get a chance to post. Watching the episode right now so is here some real time likes:

(1) The aarti scene- I liked:
- Jalal's comfort level in moving her hair casually- reminded me of his hesitance in the tent scene in the cold weather :)
- His feeding her the prasad- though I am surprised you did not notice he went through her nose ring as if it was some kind of obstacle course
- Jodha's blushing

(2) The painting symbolism with Ruqs on Jalal's head and Jodha at his feet ala Duryodhan and Arjuna were to Krishna.

I also remembered how Arjuna chose the Man (Krishna) over his entire army- could apply to Jodha vs. Ruqs as well.

Also thought it was funny that she said I will sit on top of your head and he complained of a headache.

(3) The beautiful irony that both Jodha and Jalal are thinking the same thing: That the other is not showing their love openly

After all, that is what will take us through IPL!

(4) Liked how Jodha addressed MA without greeting her

Somehow I found it cute to hear the word ghrina from Jodha again ;)
(5) Dargah precap scene- excited how they will beat the Badal- Kajri version as that was awesome

Jodha always wanted to give Ruqs her space so nothing new here and she felt bad seeing him with Ruqs before too- but it is obvious she needs to get over it.

How could you miss how there was a bit of jealousy between Moti and Jodha on talking about Jalal! Maybe our suspicions were always right ;)

Have a great weekend guys.

Yes, I lined today's episode, it had everyone and I liked the way Jalal put Jodha's puncture hear his feet, he can always look at her picture and can't see others watching it. He is a possessive husband after all.
Ruq's will do dumbest things to put herself down. No one can save her.
Hoshiyaar whenever he comes, gives reality check to Ruq's. Stupid girl.
Jodha 's confrontation with MA was good, I think, Jodha will not keep quiet and will have good scene coming up on Monday.
Precap- both Jodha and Jalal looked awesome😳

Well though not very exciting but still a gud episode. Now slowly jodha is also getting there where jalal had already reached. Again loved how jalal maintained the proper balance b/w both the wives without hurting either of them. I had always admired the gud qualities of ruku but her dumbness is pissing me off. Jealousy is not a crime, even salima nd jodha also get jealous but crossing lines in jealousy is really not done. She cant see the fact tht despite jalal loves jodha he still cares nd loves ruku as a friend. So her stupidity will actually hurt jalal forget others. Loved salima jodha conversation nd also salima's dialogue tht jalal doesn't show his pain to anyone. Whenever he gets hurt he gives the excuse of not having a heart, though im not sure whether she knows it or not it was BK who taught him tht shahenshah cant have a heart.

Hey Divya,
I like yesterday's epi. Especially the arti scene. The way Jalal touches her cheek 😳 He feed her that prasad through nose ring 😆 . Ab nose ring itna bara hai toh bechara kya karega 😆 .
Rukku is so stupid. She didn't realize Jalal ne Jo ki pic pairo ke pas nahi ankho ke samne rakha. As Jalal said this is what rukku's problem is she wants to show everyone that she is the most khas to jalal. When will she realize both of them r equally important in Jalal's life.
I like the Rahim-Salima scene. The mother-son scene was cute. I love salima's dialogue on Jalal. I had a fear in that when Jo was saying how much important a mother is for child. I thought she will try to patch up Ja-MA. Thnk god she didn't forgive MA .

Well about the "pran" I have an analysis. Before marriage jodha has many misunderstandings about Jalal. As per jodha as well as rajvanshis Jalal is a jallad, a totally bad person. But after marriage her misconceptions started to clear off. Jalal started to prove her wrong in evry aspect nd after BB's case she was completely sure tht he isn't a bad person. Now she thought just like she had misconceptions about jalal his people also have sum misunderstandings about him so to remove it direct interaction with his awam was necessary. We cant forget tht many wrong things were happening in his name so if he interacts directly with the awam he can do sumthing for them nd the misunderstandings will be over. Yes for him his people were always his children but due to certain bad people under him his image was maligned. So maybe tht was her "pran". Remember if a person is not gud from inside he will never do any reforms. So jodha was sure if he was shown the truth he will definitely take the right decision. Her "pran" has actually nothing to do with her love or coming back. So she didn't brought him closer to his people he already had feelings she wanted jalal's awam to see his gudness.

I had a similar thought- it was to connect his heart with others instead of hiding it ...

Jodha wanted people to know his gudness. She was sure tht if jalal sees his people in trouble he will surely take steps.

My dear Munni,

Where her beloved BK is concerned, Salima always has selective amnesia. Remember how she was gushing about him to Jodha at the chaugan match? One could hardly recognise him from her description.😉 That is what love does to you (not to Jodha 1, of course!😉)
