mansi ..awesome analysis and a wonderful week we had ...very good episodes on political front and handled very well...nothing rushed ...it was necessary to bring oath the political angle interplayed with the romance...and jodha and Jalal separation was thus needed ,sometimes of the blinders to lift off ,he needed that hurt and the emotions ...

he himself said while talking to her portrait that why did i realise all these after you left me ??..

and i absolutely loved the pre cap...they were eso typical husband wifey ...and her one question was enough to make him realise without too many words...this is the comfort a hubby wifey has...discuss issues and help each other ..it does not take credit from the either...and the real Akbar too must have been supported and advised by his close ones...he did not obviouslyy wake up one morning and decided to pass a set of new rules..

i absolutely love the way cvs show it ...him going among people and understanding the issue...jodha guiding him ,he realising and making that decision own his own..be it that child marriage rule or this one...no wonder inspite of protests from all around the guy is undeterred in his love for her ...inspite of all her so called arrogance he still wants to do nothing with anyone else other than her...

TM is another very strong influence on him and the actor is excellent...am happy the polluted environment of Agra is undergoing a change for good now ..am happy Jalal accepted that he rather have hard core honest people who speak the truth than those who spend their entire life flattering him ...

finally Jo is coming back am really happy ...and him in her hojra touching her things finding peace there and his jodha ...it is such a beautiful scene always

coming to spoiler ...they cannot show ruqaiyya second time pregnant and losing the child...either the article is speculation or else typical EK where ruqaiyya aided by MA plays this card in order to pull him to her ..her one last desperate attempt to separate them...as zee has told next track is ruqaiyya jealousy track ...so i can see that but then they will completely butcher ruqaiyya coz she can never play with Jalal's emotions and his need to be a father ...BB had done the same...Jalal will be heartbroken and she herself lost a child...

so am praying hard the article is mere speculation and nothing more..besides knowing she is pregnant how will they consummate??

The spoiler that is spoling my mood!

Just as I was about to post my take this morning I saw this spoiler that someone has posted. It appears to be an article from some magazine (I don't know which one) but it predicts that Jodha and Jalal's consummation will happen in the context of Ruqaiya being again pregnant.

Here is the spoiler (courtesy whoever posted it):

The much awaited consummation scene of Jodha and Akbar is soon going to come on your TV screens. Zee TV's popular show Jodha-Akbar has always delighted it's viewers by strong story line and amazing star cast. Audiences like to watch the romantic scenes between Jodha- Akbar and have been waiting for a long time to see their passionate consummation track. After a month long separation of Jodha and Akbar due to Akbar's misunderstanding, Jodha is all set to return to her husband's palace. She will be whole heatedly welcomed in the palace by all. On the day of their marriage anniversary Jalal will have to leave Jodha and go to save Shehnaaz's son Rahim as he will be in danger. Jodha will argue with him for leaving her alone that night, but crisis doesn't end here, the same night they will get to know that Rukaiya is pregnant. Poor Jalal will have to leave Jodha alone again to meet Rukaiya. Jodha will feel terribly bad and she will fight with Jalal. He will try to pacify her and then slowly they will forget everything and fall into each other's arms. Ekta Kapoor is famous for beautifully portraying love on small screen. We really hope this one too will be liked by Jodha-Akbar fans. Are you excited to watch the passionate romance of your favorite TV couple?

I am not sure here if Ruqaiaya is really pregnant or she fears that Jodha has returned and she and Maham think of this pregnancy-faking to separate Jodha and Jalal. I hope it is the latter.

But even if their plans fail, I don't like the idea of this extra distraction on the side when the consummation scene is being included.

Can anybody call Zee and say we don't like this idea at all?!!!

Mansi, sorry i am posting this view even before reading your full post. The reason being that you look depressed about the Spoiler and hence read that first. please have some patience an then re read the spoiler. Can you make out head and tail out of that. Let me tell you.
1. They have said that on the day of their Anniversary, Jalal had to leave Jodha alone to save SHEHENAZ's son Rahim and should we believe that Shehanaz's story has been open to all that Jalal went to save her son? Means Cvs have piered another nail to Maham's coffin? I don't think so. and what made you to believe Jodha is so insentsitive & desporate that she will talk against saving a Child's life? ATleast I can't believe this.
2. I dont think Jodha has turned out so selfish that she will be angry on Jalal if he went to meet Ruqu for she is bearing his child in her womb. If whatever i understood little about Jodha is right, then Jodha might drag Jalal to go to Ruqu to share the happy news of him becoming a father. She will never ever get angry and fight with Jalal for this. If that is the case, then I will make her stand in line with Maham.
In both cases, Jodha might blast jalal for staying put or she herself might leave to save the child & share the happy news and she will never feel bad and fight...
Please have faith in Jodha...

Hi Mansi,

I am short of words today.
The episode we saw yesterday made me just speechless. A lot has been said about the episode and superb acting of the leads. So, i ll not repeat it.

But, yesterday, i again thought in my mind, Why do we remember THIS MAN after 450 years.?. And, when i look at the achievements and reforms of him, it makes me go BERSERK at those who spread nonsense regarding him. Actually, i had a debate with some 'communal' so-called 'preachers' of history who were spreading all nonsense about him in the library i visit, labelling him as an 'outsider' in India and spewing all crap about him. Just vented out there. So, that effect is visible in my writeup. :p It's true that at times he DID some acts which were quite shocking and brutal, but that was Early part in his life. No one is BORN perfect. He changes slowly. Even Ashoka underwent a reformation after Kalinga massacre. And, we remember him for his 'dhamma' not the brutality, as his greatness surpassed his negative acts 'early' in his life. Similarly, Jalal is on way to become Akbar, and there is much more to his credit which surpasses those negative acts. Lol. Thanx for allowing me to vent out.

I am eagerly waiting for the future such reforms. How can a person achieve so much in 1 birth.?. How can a person who was out on an agenda to win the Hindustan have a unique and beautiful love story side by side. He had many wives/ladies BUT only she had the 'claim' to his heart. It amazes me the wonder Akbar was.!. Equally and ably supported by his wife. Hats off. For me there is NO doubt, that Harka Bai was a GREAT GREAT GREAT influence in his life that she was an eyesore to the bigots who tried eliminating her from history, but not successful. It's evident from some of his reforms later like the Sati, etc. which DID HAVE her contribution, but as you said, it was also the greatness in Jalal that made him apply them making him comparable to the Insan-e-Kamil. Even today it's tough to introduce reforms and battle the 'religion' factor and such things happened in 16th centur. Imagine the opposition he must have faced. Making such reforms going against the clergy and not asking his wife to convert. These are not minor acts.!!!.

Sharing one more bit from history. When he passed away in 1605, BOTH Hindus and Muslims CRIED at his tomb.!!!!!!. This very thought makes it clear what he was 450 years back, and found place in hearts of one and all irrespective of religion, we RARELY find such people even TODAY. Quite Eager to watch how Jalal turns into Akbar, including the 'influence' of Harka Bai among 'other' people in his life. Blessed were Akbar-HK and blessed are we to watch these immortal legends on our screens. Add to this the beauty of Mughal Court in presence of the Navratans.

Did you notice, Munim Khan was speaking the language of maulvis.?. Another hint for us.

Very unhappy with Zee. Why don't the promote such awesome episodes.!!!!. I fail to understand the mentality of the Marketing dept.

M i the only one feeling that the Creative team has underwent some change or revamp.?.

Forgot to thank you for these amazing writeups daily, which adds to our watching pleasure. Awesome.

That was the part that touched him most as he took out some of the coins and necklaces inside the cash box. It had mattered a lot to Jodha that the poor Hindus were suffering under these taxes and she was doing her little bit to help them without asking Jalal for any money for this. She was saving out of her expenses kit for this.

She was a Queen with all the money at her disposal, but yet she was secretly building a small fund to help the poorest of the Hindus to go on their pilgrimages.

I thought that scene was special because it is exactly these types of small things one must notice about the person one loves. To know them well, to know their emotions and motivations and feelings well, one has to see where they are putting their small daily priorities. And seeing Jodha's little cash box must have shown Jalal exactly what would thrill her heart.

I have no doubt that even though it was all a financial-political decision for a King to take, somewhere in his heart Jalal must have hoped that his abolishment of the taxes would thrill Jodha no end. There was hidden emotion in his decision as he himself showed in the precap, when he said "At least think of me once when you hear this news!"

the part above the reason i loved the pre cap and the reason i love this girl inspite of the times she makes me want to pull my hair😆

she could have asked or as people say lectured him but no..as she said she is doing what she can ...without disturbing anyone or any law..she saves her own money and helps..and exactly these little things of Jodha is what makes his heart flutter so much ...the girl is a beauty inside as well...even if sometime impractical but her actions are so heart touching and innocent that anyone would melt ...

A great analysis Mansi
You have described it so just-fully. It was one of the best episodes of the show. We saw Jalal the king. So the process of the journey of Jalal to Akbar has started. With every decision he takes he is showing he is an independent thinker and a strong kng, he is becoming more and more a strong leader. But as his stature as a leader rises so do the number of his enemies. Now soon we will see some sort of bagavat I am sure. The maulavis are getting more and more disgruntled

One thing he said right mostly his own near and dear ones have created problems for him

About the spoiler Ruqs being pregnant is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. How she got pregnant when Jalal even doesn't visit her??? How many pregnancy tracks will they show . There was also something about Shehenaz's son in Maham's captivity .i want to know the source of this spoiler, maybe it's gossip or rumour or as you say Ruks plan to gain attention

Oh and I forgot to mention. A really stunning performance from Rajat 👏

I loved the episode, everything about the episode was so good! the precap she's finally returning! our happy days are back!

You've written everything so well, so I won't say much.

Mansi, don't be disheartened! Pinkvilla is famous for Gossip only, They've never given authentic news. They are the same people who said that JJ will meet in the jungle and kiss and have their SR. This never happened. The whole article sounds pretty fake.

But If by any chance it's true, Then Ruqaiyya is 100% faking it to get attention, because nothing happened between RuqLal. So she can't be pregnant. But I'm pretty sure this article is a specualtion. Relax.

Thank you and bless you🤗 if the source is what you mentioned then it's such a relief

I second Jaya on this.
Even if the events do happen, I do not think that Jodha would be upset about Jalal's involvements in both issue. Rather she will just kick him out of her hojra for not doing his duty.

And again I do not think the consummation of a relationship with anger and fight is not what CVs have in mind. It would be as beautiful and as dignified as their love.

Abhay,

Too bad Akbar did not send this memo to 21st century. We could of used him in this current environment of intolerance... if you get my drift... 😊
