Jodha Akbar 2nd May 2014 Written Update

Its night time. Shareefuddin walks into a deep jungle and a guard tells him that be careful. You might not be able to tolerate Abul Mali's condition. Shareef walks into a hut where Abul Mali is being treated by a Hakim. AM (Abul Mali) is screaming with pain as it is hurting his eye. The Hakim assures him that he'll be fine soon. Hakim leaves from there while Shareef stares on at AM. AM holds his eye and tells to himself that Jalal has written my defeat on my face. I'll give him a brutal death. Shareef tells him in a calm tone that relax! Jalal is no ordinary warrior. He is a skilled warrior and that, you should have attacked with whole army. AM screams on him that don't put salt on my burnt wounds, otherwise you'll pay for Jalal's deeds. Shareef sees his terrible condition and gets shocked. Shareef tells him that you are getting me wrong. I myself am very upset and don't you worry, we'll soon revenge Jalal. AM tells him that I was his brother-in-law, yet he did this to me, so he won't forgive you too. Shareef tries to cheer him up. AM tells that I promise to myself, I wont sit quietly unless I take full revenge. Shareef says InshaAllah and asks AM to rest and that, he'll visit him on a regular basis.

Shareef walks out and finds Adham there. Adham has taken a guard in his grip and has put a knife on his neck. Shareef is shocked to see him here. Adham tells him that I know you are shocked but I am not. I knew you wont sit quietly. He releases the guard and tells to Shareef that don't you worry. I haven't come here to hurt you. I just want to know, with whom you are making plans to hurt Jalal. Adham further tells that if it was so easy to kill Jalal, I would have done that long back. Shareef tries to appear innocent and says why would I kill Jalal. Adham says what a display of innocence. Anyone would die. You murder the person and you don't even have the knife in your hand. Waah waah! But Don't you dare fool me. Shareef now says that even I wish the same as you wish. And this is the right time to fulfill your wishes. So don't waste time following me, go and follow Jalal. Adham says confidently that I'll get the throne anyhow as I have my Ammi-Jaan with me. Adham then becomes serious and says, Look! We both hate Jalal and he's the thorn of our roads. We both have the same aim. So why not join our hands and kill Jalal together. You take Agra and I'll take Delhi. And we'll think about one-eyed Abul Maali later on. He laughs hysterically and leaves a shocked and confused Shareef behind.

Its morning time. Hameeda is doing her morning prayers. She prays to Allah that her son is going through a difficult time. I cant help him anyway since his injuries are so painful and deep. Only you can show him the way my Maula. Today, Jalal has to punish that person, whom he has called his Badi-Ammi throughout his life. Give him the courage to do the justice my Allah. She completes her prayers.

Scene shifts to Amer palace. Jodha ,with her hair open, is sitting in front of mirror. Maina asks the maids to put oil in Jodha's hair and massage her head. Jodha first refuses but later agrees. One maid moves forward to do this. After sometime, Shehnaaz asks Mainawati if she could massage Jodha's head. Maina gives her the consent. Shehnaaz starts massaging Jodha's head and putting oil in her hair. A little of Jodha's hair get pulled away and Jodha scolds Shehnaaz for this. She says please massage gently. Shehnaaz in return says that I didn't do anything intentionally, you yourself are so fragile (Naazook) that a little pulling hurts you so much.

Jodha goes in a flashback. Jodha is massaging Jalal's head and putting oil. Jalal complains innocently that don't revenge on me by pulling my hair. Jodha says that you are a man and don't complain about such small things. Jalal says smirkingly that how come being a man is related here? If it pains, I'll scream a little na. That's natural! And if I do the same thing to you na, then you'll know. Jodha says I am a Rajvanshi and I can bear big wounds. Jalal gets up and asks Jodha to sit down so that he'll massage her head. Jodha first hesitates, but upon Jalal's continuous insistence, she agrees. Jodha sits down and Jalal slowly takes her veil off.☺️ He starts opening her hair while Jodha slightly blushes, asking him to stop it as he doesn't know how to massage. Jalal relies that if I don't try, how will I learn it. Both Jodha and Jalal smile.😳 Flashback ends.

Shehnaaz asks Jodha whether she can try again. Jodha says in a daze..Agar aap maalish karenge to humein to acha lagega hi naa..Shahenshah!! (If YOU'll do my massage, I'll obviously feel nice Shahenshah!) . Both Maina and Shehnaaz are surprised.

Jalal walks into the room where he'll get dressed up as Shahenshah. The servants make him wear the waist-band, the crown, the dagger, the overcoat and get him ready for the court-proceedings. Jalal prays in his mind that you have always shown me the right path Badi Ammi but today you are a criminal.. Today I have to do justice.. It feels like I have lost my mother in a crowd..He bends down to Quraan so that he can do justice today.

Maham is sitting silently in her chamber, all lost in deep thoughts. Resham comes there and softly informs her that its time for Diwaan-e-Khaas. Please get up. Resham helps MA in getting up and move towards DeK. On the way, Resham tells MA that don't worry, Shahenshah respects you so much, he'll be very calm with you in the court. MA tells Resham that I have already got my punishment .. He has already removed me from Ammi-Jaan's Audha (post). Today I'll be standing in front of him as a criminal. What more can be a punishment. MA becomes all teary-eyed.

Ruqaiya is lying in her chamber. She is very sad and lost. She remembers how the servant informed her that Shahenshah had gone to Jodha's chamber instead of coming to her. She feels terrible. A maid comes and asks her if she can clean her room. Ruqs shouts on her saying that did I call you? Get lost! And again she cries. Hoshiyaar comes and Ruqs again shouts without knowing that its Hoshiyaar. Hoshiyaar tells her that's its him and Ruqs screams on him. She tells him, why have you come here? You are not my Khwaaja Sera. Hoshiyaar comes closer to her and says please don't say this Huzoor.. I have always been your servant. Kill me but don't say this. Ruqaiya breaks down and says, yesterday night, Jalal went to Jodha Begum's room, although she wasn't even there. Hoshiyaar says who can control Shahenshah's wishes Huzoor. You please don't get angry, get ready for Diwaan-e-Khaas. Ruqaiya shouts and says no, I wont come to DeK. For whom should I come. Jalal should realize that I am angry with him. Hoshiyaar tries to make Ruqs understand. He says nothing will affect Shahenshah.. because he himself is upset with himself. MA's fraud and cheating has hurt him so much that he wont realize anyone else's pain right now. Infact, your presence will increase his courage. It will bring him back to you because now, only you are left whom Shahenshah can... before Hoshiyaar can complete his sentence, Ruqs bursts on him..What do you mean by "eklauti bachi hain?" I have always been the one and only close to him..You get that? She cries more. She says Jalal is changing because of Jodha Begum. Yesterday night, Jodha Begum wasn't even there in her chamber, yet Jalal went there and spent his night. He even got ready to punish MA. And all this is because of Jodha Begum. Hoshiyaar says that I don't know whether the matter is about MA or Jodha Begum, the thing which matters is that you go and support him. Don't know what punishment he'll give to MA, whether he'll throw her out of Agra, or send her to Mecca Shareef or imprison her. Ruqs drops down and says even I don't know whats going on in Jalal's mind. She cries.

Scene shifts to Diwaan-e-Khaas. Everybody has gathered there. The guards proclaim Jalal's arrival. Jalal enters the court, goes straight to his throne and takes his seat. Everybody greets him. Jalal asks to present accused MA in front of all. Adham makes angry face at Jalal. Everybody is looking at each other. Jalal then says loudly, It is said that a king should avoid bringing in his feelings when he does justice. Today I'll try my best that my feelings don't affect my decision. He asks Atgah Sahab to begin the court proceedings. Adham is getting hyper by each passing second and his man tells him to calm down as he is in DeK. Maham walks in the center of the court. She greets Jalal.

Jalal tells to MA that you have been accused of falsely practicing your rights as Wazir-e-Aliya. You have tried to mislead your king. You have cheated your king. He asks Atgah Sahab to tell everyone about MA's deeds. Atgah tells everyone that MA has been accused of misusing her powers as Wazir-e-Aliya. He then tells of how MA knew that one of the Khwaja Seras was a man and yet, she allowed him to enter the Palace. She knew he was Rajvanshi Prince Sujamal. By doing all this, not only did MA cheated with her post but also broke Mughal rules. Also, she has played with Shahenshah and Harem. And when the real Dilawar Khan reached to MA, she threatened him and sent him back. Adham is getting hyper. He says to himself that my Ammi-jaan had to suffer all this bezatti because of you Atgah Khan. I swear on my mother, I wont spare you. I'll revenge you soon.

Jalal is very hurt. He thinks to himself how could you do this Badi-Ammi? I never thought you would do all this. Atgah continues saying that MA let Sujamal enter the Harem because of her own wishes. Not only this, when Shahenshah suspected Dilawar Khan, She misled him by giving him false news that Sujamal was seen in Badawar. Jalal then says... not only this..She broke her Shahenshah's trust. She tried to insult his Begum by raising questions on her character. She tried to demean her character. She tried to poison my mind against my Begum. Then he calms down a bit and says, All these crimes have been proved against you, but as it is Mughal rule that the criminal is given a last chance for his/her stance, I ask you what is your last statement. Maham is silent and looks at everyone. Then she says I accept all the crimes. Jalal says that the criminal has done Iqbaal-e-jurm. MA is held guilty as a criminal. Jalal asks her whether she's ready to listen to her punishment. MA says yes. Episode ends on Jalal's firm face.

Precap : Adham Khan is very angry. He says to his men that I was quiet till now because of Ammi-Jaan. But now, we'll protest openly. His men support him in that. Adham says...we'll start our bagaavat (protest) by killing Atgah Khan first. We'll definitely revenge Ammi-jaan's insult.
