Jodha Akbar 21st April 2014 Written Update

Episode starts with Jodha shutting the door of the hut, leaning against it and then crying profusely. She recalls his words I know your anger is justified Jodha Begum..thats why I am telling you to punish me and then, please come back to Agra.." She also recalls her reply to him Some deeds cannot be forgiven Shahenshah.. You still have to repent more for your deeds..I cannot come back to Agra'. She runs to Kanha moorthy and drops down. She blames Kanha for doing everything. She says that first Shahenshah insulted me and threw me out of the Palace and Agra..And now he has come to take me back to Agra. WHY? Why does he keep coming close to me and then he goes away from me. WHY? Why do I have to give such exams again and again Kanha? She wipes off her tears and then says.. Why should I go back? I haven't forgotten the insult yet. Why am I seeing such days Kanha..where did my bhakti lack the sincerity? Why do you put me in such strange conditions Kanha? Why?Why?Why? She cries. Then she says, I'll have to leave from here as soon as possible. Suddenly there's a knock on the door and she fears the person to be Jalal. She gets up and stands near the opposite wall of the gate. The door opens and it is Bharmal on the door. Jodha feels relieved to see him, runs to him and hugs him. Bharmal consoles Jodha saying that you are my brave daughter and you cannot cry like this..Jodha is all emotional and Bharmal says everything will be fine soon my daughter. Jalal watches the father-daughter duo from a distance and then leaves from there as he gets emotional as well.

Bharmal explains to Jodha that Jalal has repented a lot for his deeds. He says that Jalal has left no stone unturned to find Jodha, that too without any rest in between. Jodha is all silent. Bharmal continues "I have seen in his eyes, the pain and remorse he's been going through..I am not trying to take his side...But I have seen him burning in repentance in your absence. I know that your decision is right. Any Rajvanshi lady would do that but I still want you to forgive Shahenshah. If you don't want to go to Agra, don't go, no problem. But please come to Amer." Jodha sobs and says" No Baapusa, I am fine here. I cannot come with you to Amer." Bharmal says emotionally ,"I know your mother's words were very bitter, but her aim was just that you don't come alone to Amer. She just wanted that your family never breaks. Trust me, she didn't have any other intention. She is waiting for you Jodha..She is crying for you. Are you so angry with your mother? You don't trust your parents' love and care for you? Its such a shameful thing for a father that his daughter is living like this in his presence. Jodha you have full right on Amer and its property. Marriage doesn't mean your right is over. Our doors are always open for you Jodha. You have to come with me, for your mother atleast." Jodha still denies coming back to Amer. Bharmal then says ,"Fine! If you are so stubborn, I am your father. I'll leave all the matters of state and will stay here, in Mathura. I wont go back without you." Jodha gets up and goes in Bharmal's feet. She sobs and says ,"Don't say like this Baapusa..If this is your wish, I'll definitely come back to Amer." Jodha rests her head in Bharmal's lap and he pats her head with love and affection.

Jalal is sitting in his hut with Todarmal standing by his side. TM (Todarmal) says to him that King Bharmal has come to meet you. Bharmal comes and TM leaves. Jalal asks him whether he talked to Jodha. Bharmal says that you yourself know Shahenshah, what sort Jodha is. She's not only stubborn but holds her self-respect at the top. Once she decides something, she doesn't back off. Jalal says that If Jodha Begum continues to go away from me, how will I ever gain her back? Bharmal asks his permission if he can take away Jodha to Amer! Bharmal explains that Jodha's mental condition is not apt to go back and live in Agra. If she spends some days in Amer, she will get some peace. And her mother and grandmother will make her understand, so she might change her decision. Bharmal tells him that currently, Gangaur festival is going on in Amer and in this festival, we invite our daughters with pride. If Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati bless us, everything will be fine soon. He continues Shahenshah, We are unable to invite you to the festival..Please forgive us. With time, Jodha's anger will cool down and then, he would have no problem coming to Amer." Jalal says that if crime is mine, I would have to bear the punishment as well. Bharmal tries to comfort Jalal saying that you don't need to blame yourself Shahenshah.. We have found Jodha and that's the biggest thing of joy. Please keep your spirits up, God will make everything better. Jalal says that even I am waiting for that time, when Jodha Begum would meet me, just like before. Jalal thinks to himself..Jodha Begum..Aap humein milkar bhi nahin mili.. I have done the crime and I'll make sure I make it up for my deeds.

Its morning time. Jodha comes out from her hut, with Kanha's moorthy in her hands. Everyone is gathered there. Jodha thanks them. The head lady says Jodha Begum..Please forgive us for our any mistakes. Jodha says that don't apologise please.. You people have given me so much love..just like a family. In such difficult times of my life, I got your people's support. And its all because of you people, that I could smile even in such painful moments. I am thankful to all of you.

Jodha then looks out for Shehnaaz. The lady says Don't worry for Shehnaaz..She must be roaming somewhere. Jodha gets a little upset and then all of them move towards the gate. Bharmal gifts the head lady some coins. He says I am very thankful to all of you. I am not giving this to pay for your love, I am giving this so that you people can care for any such daughter like Jodha, whenever she needs the help. Jodha then takes the blessings of the lady. Bharmal thanks TM and TM inturn says, that no need to thank, because I have just made the father and daughter meet. Jodha comes and greet TM. TM apologises to Jodha and says that If I knew you were staying in my Ashram.. Bharmal cuts him and says..Its God's blessing that Jodha was in your Ashram. Hence we could find her. Jodha thanks TM saying I not only got shelter here but a lovely family as well. Jodha then turns to the lady and says I didn't get to meet Shehnaz, but once you meet her, please give her this. She hands over a gift sort of thing to her and goes to sit in her palanquin. As soon as she enters it, she sees Shehnaaz inside, already sitting over there. Shehnaaz says that I wont let you go Lakshmi. If you will go, I will also come with you. The lady comes there and asks Shehnaaz to come out of the Palanquin as Jodha Begum needs to leave immediately. Shehnaz retorts. The lady says that Jodha Begum will have a long journey..Shehnaaz says that she will take care of her and then says, you told me that you will never leave me Lakshmi. But soon, the lady makes her come out. Jodha comes out as well and stops Shehnaaz and asks her if she would come with her. Shehnaaz is very happy and runs to Jodha and hugs her. She cutely says You are so sweet Lakshmi. Lakshmi Bai ki Jai. Jodha says to her that one more thing Shehnaaz, don't call me Lakshmi now on, call me Jodha. Shehnaz then sits in the Palanquin and as Jodha is about to sit, she sees Jalal at a distance. Both of them have an eye-lock.

Jalal pleads to her in telepathy ,"Don't go Jodha Begum.. Don't go. Jodha says in telepathy ,"I cannot come with you Shahenshah.. I haven't forgotten everything. I haven't forgiven you yet. And I cant live this type of life with you. Jalal pleads with his eyes but Jodha enters the palanquin. Jalal feels dejected.

Bharmal gets on horse and greets Jalal from there. Jalal greets him as well. Jalal says to himself "I have lost your love with my suspicion, and I'll win your heart from my love. I wont let you go away from me.'

Scene shifts to Amer Palace where the ladies are arranging things for Jodha's welcome. Daadisaa asks one of the ladies so as to why she is so happy and the lady replies that Princess Jodha is coming back to Amer with King Bharmal. Daadisaa gets too happy and gifts the lady her bangles. She thanks god for the welfare of Jodha. She then goes to Mainawati to tell her about Jodha's arrival.

Mainawati comes and asks about the noise of outside. Daadisaa tells her that it's a good news. Jodha has been found and Bharmal is bringing her here. Maina gets very happy and thanks Lord Mahadev. She says on this auspicious moment of Ghangaur festival, you returned us our Jodha. You listened to our prayers. She is very happy about Jodha's arrival and asks the servants to get her clothes ready. She herself would welcome Jodha.

She tells to her Maasa in excitement that I would be the first one to welcome Jodha. She replies that yes Maina.. When Jodha would see you on the Palace Gate, she would be so happy. Suddenly, Maina's smile disappears as she remembers her own words which she had said to Jodha that My daughter's doli has been done from Amer, her Arthi should be done from Agra'. She slowly backs off and says, No Maasa..I cant meet Jodha's eyes. How would I? Maasa tells that don't recall past things now. Whatever you said to Jodha was for her welfare. Maina tells her that No Maasa.. I will really be not able to face Jodha.. Please go and welcome her. Till then, I would gather courage to face her. Maasa leaves from there.

Everyone is waiting at the Amer Palace gate for Bharmal and Jodha. In her chamber, Maina takes up a puppet doll and nearly hugs her. She cries and says to herself, I cant even welcome my own daughter. This is my punishment. I had given her unnecessary order and she got punished because of me. I will now repent for my mistake. She cried seeing the doll.

Jalal is on his horse. He and his men are in a jungle, returning back to Agra. Jalal is all sad and lost and recalls the words of the Hakim saying that this is an excellent medicine/lep. Every ingredient has been put in right amount. Whoever lady has made this lep has really got good knowledge of medicines. He then recalls the words of the priest saying Such a strange thing.. You not only saved that widow lady but also Shehnaaz and Lakshmi. Lakshmi had also sent lep for you.

Wind starts blowing and Jalal suddenly sees Jodha coming towards his way. Ishq hai Vo Ehsaas plays in background. A big smile crepts over his face as he sees her. He says to her "Thank God! I knew you would come". He smiles more and Jodha also smiles back at him. Flashbacks of Jalal saving Jodha, Shehnaaz and the lady from stones and saving Jodha from committing suicide are shown. Episode ends on Jalal's happy face.

Precap : Jalal and Abul Maali are fighting with each other. Abul Mali attacks quickly and Jalal loses hold of his sword. Jalal gets pushed down to the ground. Abul Mali raises his sword to kill Jalal and he pushes his sword down.
