I did not find anything wrong in Paridhi's acting. Her expressions were bang on shocked at learning he knew of the meetings, the hurt and then pain at his pain, helplessness, shock at his accusations

One cannot blame the actor when her character is butchered by not giving her any lines and making her look silly

CVs made her not say a thing what can Paridhi do?

Jodha could have told Jalal - I take Kanha's kasam I am not doing anything wrong
I have sisterly love for this man
I am vachan bound not to tell but your hurt and accusations and feelings are imp - please come with me and take Jalal to Sujamal and tell Sujamal please take back your vachan cos my husband suspects this about us

They could have done N number of things for Paridhi to say - but they wanted to give Rajat this huge monologue scene where his talent can shine. Where Paridhi had to stand looking silly so he can rant and rave and give a performance.

Old Jodha was far better than this - so that makes me wonder if this is done to PS deliberately.

Well to each his own, I don't want to go into debate of who is right and wrong, Jodha or Jalal or who gets more preference or butchered. There have been many many a times when Jalal was made to look like a fool, a shadow of Jodha who only longs for a look from her or wants a nod from her but then I can't pinpoint on his acting. Almost always he is showed as a love lorn soul looking for a green signal from Jodha.

But Friday's episode Jodha's look was completely blank, she was devoid of emotions, there was no look of despair, anguish, repent, insult, humiliation, shock, guilt...all I saw was a look of surprise here and there and rest she looked blank to me. I am not even talking of dialogues and yes she could have said many things to stop that tirade but the CV's wanted to prolong this so that once again Jalal can fall on his knees owning up his mistake and asking for forgiveness but I wanted better acting on Jodha's part.

To me I put an actor on pedestal who can emote through eyes and speak volumes through them. On that regard I felt a let down all the more because I know Paridhi is a good actress who has showcased her talent in anger and also as Kajri with her softness, then why not in pain and hurt?

Again solely and completely my opinion, no one has to agree.

Gayatri tell me about it! It was an utter letdown with no logic or sense. And for sure the alter-ego was not using reverse psychology to shake Jodha up as I read somewhere, because Jodha's character doesn't work that way. She is always shown to be a believer of either Black and white, she doesn't realize there is a grey shade in between, she always is straightforward and blunt and never reverts to shake and stir things up in a reverse way, so I can't accept the alter-ego was trying to do that. What exactly she did I don't understand even now.

And when Jodha is wrong we bash the CV's but when Jalal is wrong then he is put to the guillotine here in the forum, again its beyond my comprehension.

i remember we all were upset with jalal when he slept in khema and jodha slept outside during badal-kajri

jodha's sleeping was 5 steps ahead of that

well honestly butchering of jalal's character also had been done many times, now its jodha's turn. so i dont think the writers or the CVs have anything personal with RT or PS, its the habit of the CVs to butcher the characters time to time. even sensible salima begum went dumb when she didnt stopped neither of jalal or jodha to drink benz poison despite she knew the truth. even rajat also not allowed to do action scenes like sujamal, despite he is the lead & the most imp. thing is rajat is the master of action. so i dont think tht the Ph or CVs have anything against any actor, but the CVs time to time butcher characters for dramatization.

Yep 😆! All I hear is 'aap waja farmate hai huzoor, aapki hukum ki tamil hogi' from Jalal's ministers.

And for CV's "naakara" is an understatement!

This is what I wrote in the previous page. Even Jalal most of the time is made to look like a fool but I can't pinpoint on the actor. When I see lacking in the acting department I will point it out be it PS or RT or any one else.

well both the actors r really gud. but not only jodha's character has been butchered due to recent probs. jalal's character also had been butchered many times & rajat also had been made stand without strong scenes. so CVs r actually master of butchering, whether its jalal, jodha or anyone else they wont leave anyone.

Am good, Lana. Still sticking on here in the hope that we might get something like those old golden episodes & the oh so enjoyable smart tedha Jalal. In fact, Jalal s the only reason I started seeing the show & still sticking on to the show 😊

@ blue - Exactly my sentiments. I want Amer trip Jalal back desperately but I don't see it coming anytime soon. Those CV's, writers left the show. 😔
