Forced to commit Sati by your own son!

Most of you might think that my earlier thread, "Akbar and Sati" is stale news and not worth having another look. I have to start a new thread so that your curiosity makes you read the shocking new information I have of the forced Sati, that Akbar stopped.

- The woman being forced to commit Sati was the widow of Jai Mai, a cousin of Raja Bhagwan Das.

Her name was Rajkumari Dameti/Damayanti Baiji Lal Sahiba, daughter of Mota Raja of Jodhpur.

Shocking indeed that a son forces his mother for this 😲

the ancient generation were so cruel in the name of traditions...

in my village still removing the hairs of women who lost her husband still exists, and it disappoints me...

and they cant even go outside the house for one year, if they need to go out of the house due to some reason they will cover their faces and head with shawl...and it should be done for 1 year...
