Sandhya, Inspite of the revenue loss due to abolishing the pilgrim tax and jaziya, when Akbar dies he was the richest ruler of his times (richer than the Ottoman and the European rulers) with a 'PERSONAL' fortune of more than 20 crores in cash alone - and we are not counting the gold jwellery and precious stones that was a fortune that was beyond anyone's dreams - and most of this fortune was from trade - and all this after the amount that he gave away every year in 'daan' innumerable times - Abhay can tell us how many times in one year he would give away a fortune distributing it in his empire!!!

And here we are not counting the riches of the Empire or of the family members!!!

And imagine, his Grandson - the so called Shah Jehan - who is supposedly the lover par excellence becoz he built the Taj Mahal - brought this same Empire to the brink of bankruptcy!!!

thank you Sandhya for so much valuable information ...i hope we get to see them in the show executed sensibly...Akbar's life had so many pages that there is no need to add the regular round of masala to it...

as you said let us see how they handle this slavery abolition issue

Mulla Do Pyaza was one of the chief advisors to Akbar and a close competitor to Birbal in terms of wit and intelligence, but Birbal ultimately won.😃. He appears in Akbar-Birbal stories.😃

Fakir Aziao Din was a Fakir, mystic and advisor whose advice was valued by Akbar a lot.

But who was this Hammir Humman? though his name is mentioned, it is never explained who he is!

Ok.

Hammir Humman was the Principal of Mughal Government School.
A very close friend of Akbar.😊

That is why Adi, Akbar was known as the great and shah jahan as an art lover.

How many emperors in world history have that suffix? Only a handful. Our jallu does.😃

I too expect jalal to receive his due credit. Keeping my fingers crossed.

His military accomplishments and administrative reorganization can fill 500 episodes. They can develop the love story side by side. But there will be no takers. Trp aunties prefer ruqs as vamp and harem politics. That is why jalal is reduced to a football rolling around in the harem with nothing much to do though nowadays thankfully we see him in discussions of state matters.
