"want to add my thought regardind this beautiful scene...
The ring here is the symbol of his 'badshahat'. Removing that ring symbolises that he was taking decision as a brother not as an emperor. In the next scene a brother was supporting a sister ... the brother won the battle here.
In fake pregnancy track he put jodha's ring in one side and his ring on the other ... which symbolises that decision was taken by both a husband and an emperor, and tarazu was nicely balanced which indicates there was a tie between a husband and an emperor.
All the scenes near tarazu are my favorite, I might be wrong, but really want to know the real meaning of those scene ... another one was during jodha's birthday. Only his ring balanced the scale then, means he has to come to jodha as a man, only jalal is what Jodha needs, not the shahenshah ... he has to sacrifice all the ego/pride as an emperor to get jodha.
Skanda12-Mansi about Rukayya
Jalal is treating Ruq like a small child ... in fact, like an indulgent parent treats a small jealous first child after the second new child comes into his life. When Jalal tries to say hard truths to Ruq and then sees her hurt and deflated face, he then converts it into some flimsy talk that will again cheer her up. He is thus able to easily distract her with childish fob offs.
He has noticed that any talk of praising Jodha deflates Ruq - and any talk of triumph over Jodha revives Ruq again. He is clearly not happy with this situation, his face shows his displeasure. But I think at the moment he doesn't have too many ideas of how to change Ruq's attitude and is just playing along for time to show him how to handle it. He knows clearly that his one wife is childish and fluttery and without depth. The other one is deep and far thinking and sage. The flimsy wife is beginning to irritate him - as he wants more and more to gravitate towards the wife with depth and character. But for the moment all he is able to do is to keep the childish wife in place with childish placation!
kmmdesai - Of Poisons and Antidotes
Hello All,
One single moment changed everything for Jalal and Jodha. The very fabric of their existence, what they were, what they are and what they are going to be froze in that one moment. Their entire journey was to reach this single moment in time.
Jalal was reborn that day. Did she only drink poison from the cup? With one sweep of hand, she drank all the poison which was slowly killing Jalal from the inside; the poison which was eating his soul. All that anger, hatred, loneliness, hurt were feasting on Jalal's soul, slowly rendering Jalal a mere shell. She cleansed Jalal with her sacrifice. She, with her very life, battled Jalal's inner demons that were holding his heart captive. She emerged victorious. Jalal suddenly was no longer a Shehenshah. He was just a man, a man with dreams, expectations and wishes; a man with hope and a man with heart.
Jalal now has new eyes; eyes which see love everywhere. Jalal now has new soul; soul which shines brighter than the Sun. Jalal now has new heart; heart which beats to the rhythm of another.
Jalal now knows what Jalal wants, not what a Shehenshah wants. All his life he thought him and Shehenshah was one and the same. Now he knows better. Being Shehensha is just what he does in life. What he wants from life is little bit of love, love of a person who will stand by him, not the mask of Shehenshah. He wants to be taken care of and to take care of the person who belongs to him. Jalal now wants only her.
Jodha was reborn that day. Did he give the antidote only to the poison? He was the antidote to her battered heart and soul; her every existence. He was the elixir who breathed new life into Jodha; breathed new will and hope to live. He was rain in her desert of a heart. He was the strength on which Jodha leaned after the battle which demanded her everything. Jodha was no longer merely a woman. She was the queen; the queen of his heart.
Jodha now has new eyes; eyes which follows him everywhere. Jodha now has new soul; soul which lightens up his world. Jodha now has new heart; heart which beats to the rhythm of another.
Jodha now knows what she wants. She wants to be a wife, to stand by him always. All Jodha's wishes and existence is now tied to him. Jodha want to take care of and to be taken care of from the person who is the most important person in her life. Jodha wants only him.
Love
Kshithi
