Ok frnds I have been reading this thread and forum on Yesterday and I will present my pov.

Firstly there is this excellent perspective that I got yesterday from a panelist at this panel discussion - he said that the mistake most historians make is build history on morals which makes them take only that aspects which they want and eugolise it and blind out that which makes them uncomfortable. He gave the example of the Greek civilization which gave the concepts of Equality, Liberty and Fraternity while at its foundations was 'Slavery'. I will go one step further and say that most ppl also do the same.

Having said this I shall come to the last scene yesterday - If you all note Jalal asks Ruqu - Achcha toh bataiye ki aaj raat kahan soyenge? He has seen the khema yet he is asking where would they sleep? To me this seems another way of Jalal trying to remind Ruqu that his journey is sans all comforts - Shyamala here it is not just about travelling as Aam Aadmi but a spiritual journey to cleanse oneself and hence with no recourse to any kind of comfort but just making do with what the Universe offers - and note that the Universe is offfering succor - not the Shahi or even ordinary kind but succor that is providing lessons very hard to come by in a normal journey - there is a lot of merit in the backpacking travels of youngsters - so to me this seemed to be Jalal wanting to knw if Ruqu does remember and give weight to his wish of 'No Comforts'

As for the next - once Ruqu responds with her yahan and I have made the bed for us - his next Q was and where is your bed? - As if wanting to knw what is her mind state - pls note Jalal has already realised that Ruqu is trying to create a circle btwn her and Jalal that excludes Jodha.

Abb what he will do is something we will see on Monday - whether he agrees to Ruqu and later goes out to niharo Jodha (which would be diluting his own wish) or will it be something else and later ofcourse niharofying Chudail - lets all wait for TE's response on Monday but I am keeping faith in TE and the writer (They will not let Akbar be tarnished).

Oh as for the missing Hoshiyar - Ruqu sent her to get the Khema and the bandhis ofcourse - warna khema kahan se lagta!!!

I know adi but then as I mentioned women have lots of problems specially physically that they need at least a proper place for bathing and other things, and in those days when there was no transport and they were on walk, it must would take months(if they are already not on their way back to agra, are they?? as there jiyarat is done)..

very well said. ...its the ultimate reason for love

They were to visit Sikri which if is roughly 38km from Agra , it should be max day and a half one way ...atleast that's what they have shown here.

Even that makes it three days in all. No bathroom, no dress change, nothing for 3 days? No shahenshah even in disguise will travel without any money. Why did they have to bring a big group with them if they were to be left behind in the jail? Didn't they have money to buy food too? Was the king banking on his begum's jewels for survival for 3 days? Even aam aadmis don't travel like that.
This is soon becoming awaam ki dua on birthday, part 2.

No bathrooms ... they halted at TM house where they could bathe. next they will reach Agra for their royal hamam... It's like a camping trip 😆 for all other purposes

Clothes ... It was left behind in the jail along with the soldiers and bandhis , I remember some guys carrying some potli's, maybe it had food and money too and was confesicated by the Darogha. And Jalal didn't carry cash in person.

As they didn't face issue of paying for their food at the first place they halt.( I know they didn't show it but nor did JO give jewels).

I was wondering

Why didn't Ruqs use the palki... JO had used one till the time they were caught by the Darogha , also why didn't some solders join them in he return journey dressed as commoners , why only 4 of them had to return separately.

They were put into jail as they didn't want to pay tax not because they didn't have money.. But if they did pay for the tax by giving Jo's jewels ultimately why not pay up for the others too from their cash in potlis and keep going as a group. Surely her kangan were worth 200 sikkas.

Why does Ruqs complain of no spread and call jalal matlabi and then as if by magic conjures a khema with pillows, bistar and all and throw jo out of it?
Obviously the former for Jodha devi zindabad and the latter for Ruqaiya murdabad.
But whatever be the lack of logic, this outing is better than what happens in the Agra madhouse.

Yes , I am LOVING IT! 😃

I wish they don't go back to that mad-house for another week but I really doubt if that's going to happen.

Ruq being painted ebony is something I am beginning to reconcile with. I know the road will be bumpy but if I reach well at the end, I am fine with it.

well never ask for logic in JA. jalal who risked his life to save abdul, suddenly became reluctant & is not bothered about rescuing his jailed soldiers. even jodha is also not bothered about them who always thinks about others 1st. salim chisti saying about new rasta, but can sumone tell me wht gr8 jahangir did, tht his birth gave rise to new rasta??? new rasta was actually given by HB, bcoz birth of jalal marked a union b/w 2 communities. ruku has to be shown in bad lights, otherwise daily soap audience will never accept a love story where the 1st wife is gud, but still the emperor falls for the other wife. initially, even with lavina, when ruks was shown as a insecured & jealous person, still people had sympathies with her. so CVs have to totally spoil her image so tht jalal will actually have no choice rather than falling for jodha. initially jodha shined bcoz of herself, but still it was not enough to create a gr8 love story.
