Thanks Sunny!

and about the episode ..this week has been so good that i am happy ,simply happy...after ages this is the week i watched the episodes at 8 and that too without changing channel not even during the ads ..and then recorded it and rewatched it back to back and the flow is so visible
It was everything we were discussing on the thread yesterday after Diksha's post, na?

i loved everything about yesterday ..everything ...although Jo ka tandoori scene was funny but as the voiceover said it seems an old method of poison removing
Tandoori Jodha! Jalal will find that tasty!😆😆😆😆

the last scene took the cake, the baker and the bakery 😆
Fulltoo take away!

when your love is near death ,you do basically everything in ur power...hold onto anything and everything ...Jalal cannot lose jODHA ,Period...and if he has to breakdown, force her ,order her ,emotionally blackmail God or put all his faith in Him to give back her to him..he will and that is exactly what he did...many of us must have gone through such a situation hence it was easy to connect with his heartbreak and desperation

the soul talk scene was brilliant ..nothing ove rthe top ...the acting ,the direction the ambience everything so serene ...the calm ,at peace jodha who accepted her fate and the tedha Shahenshah ,her husband who is ready to fight the fate...i just loved how he ordered her to stop 😆...
Even when she said she has no Shakti to fight kismet, he said he will take the shamsheer against kismet! He is wedded to his shamsheer!😆😆😆😆

her fingers moving ,the way he clutches her hand and then she trying to speak...Jalal looked as if he was dreaming or it was a mirage ...

i am dying for today's episode...after months i have felt like this
Sunny, what can I say .. I am also unable to sit or stand with the agony of waiting for today's episode! As for my office work, I have given myself permission to just ignore all the phone calls and messages. I will NOT let office work spoil my anticipatory jingo mood!

the first scene was so touching ,their nok jhoks ...it was the crux of their relationship..they just could not keep away from each other ever...him crying remembering it ,Kanha poona and hugging HB...me too thinks his bond with HBwill grow and MA will be distanced...

the pre cap is the start of the next track more or less...for ruqaiyya ,Jo saved her hubby ,saved her from becoming widow ...it has not hit her that she does not feature in this grand play of things not for jodha nor for jALAL...he is not sitting by the bedside of the woman who saved his life but he is sitting by his life ..
Ruq ka shani mahadasha seems to be starting!

Hoshyaar should start keeping an account on the number of slaps he has received 😆
What a slap that was! And this Hoshiyaar always seems to be saying "One more please!" like it is some laddoo!

from here on things can only move forward for Ja and Jo...the nok jhok phase has to take a backseat and the maturity has to set in,the feelings ,the change and the acknowledgement to themselves ...loved the new promo...as u said it is a gist of what os going to happen now ...

Hey Sun I love your post

Especially the bold lines
Rukayya is so selfish she can only relate to things for her benefit, she wants Jodha to be saved because she saved HER husband's life. She still thinks it is Jalal & Rukayya and the rest

For this line
he is not sitting by the bedside of the woman who saved his life but he is sitting by his life ..👏👏👏👏👏

I so want Jodha to tell Rukayya, I DID IT FOR "MY" HUSBAND

Mansi u deserve 🤗 every time.. and 👏👏👏👏 for ur lovely analysis...and once again congrats for the award...

Friends, yesterday on my post's thread Diksha wrote that she did not want Jodha to awaken through any other means other than Jalal's personal calling to her soul. Diksha so much wanted that everything else should fail, the Hakim should throw her hands up in dismay and say "I can do no more!" and that would leave only Jalal to somehow call Jodha back from the brink of death. In fact Diksha went as far as saying in her prediction that hopefully Jalal will ask everyone to vacate the room, after all hope is lost, and then start speaking himself to Jodha, letting his voice, his words and his feelings speak to Jodha's soul and insist that she has to wake up for him, for them, for their love.

I was one of those who pounced on the idea and said to Diksha "May your prediction come true word for word, for I too want only that and no other means by which Jodha will awaken." I did not want the Hakim to be shouting "Hosh aa gayi", "Hosh aa gayi" and the whole kingdom rejoicing. I too wanted that Jalal should be private and alone with Jodha, and speak to her, soul to soul, so that her awakening would be as a result of hearing the sweetest words on earth that any girl would want to hear. Let her wake up because he makes her life worth living again!

What do you know, guys? After Diksha wrote that prediction, almost every post after on my thread was about how much we all wanted EXACTLY that to happen! And guess what ... IT DID! And how gloriously it happened too! Diksha, I will forever remember this prediction of yours because rarely has a prediction come so true, word for word. And it was something that was causing such a flutter on the thread yesterday because it obviously was the silent wish of so many on this Forum!

Thanks Mansi ... actually, it wasn't my prediction... it was my wish, what i wanted to see ... u know after so many years of practice in my profession, if the real ppl r in front of us, then we can guess their next move (not prediction... coz predictions hawa me hota hai... if it happens like that then good, if not.. forget it)...but here is the fictional character... and yest while i wrote that i wished to think CVs like a living human being , not some fictional character... and i was really happy that they did that... even though the scene looked dramatic, still it touched our hearts coz of that simplicity and controlled way... so again thank u so much for supporting my wish/prediction...

The beauty of the screenplay and direction of the "Diksha prediction" scene was that the Creatives played with both the real world and the unreal world at the same time. Jalal and Jodha seemed to transition between the real world of her bedside to the "next world" that that she was heading for ... and there in that in-between place, they both poured their hearts out and gave their reasons to each other on why they have to live for each other only hereafter.

a bit different view on this.. it was like i said, binding their souls before she could enter in another world where , he can't enter alive. it was symbolic to show another world, coz that another world was her subconscious , which was still alive waiting for him.. but that subconscious (her mind) had so many questions for him but wanted only one answer from him, and had he not given that particular reply, her mind wanted to hear, it wouldn't have reached to her soul.. but he finally accepted and so she responded..

After that sensational prayer of Jalal's at the dargah the previous day, speaking to God in his choked and heart-rending voice, it was absolutely divine to see him again yesterday, completing that soul-pouring that started with God, at Jodha's bedside. Previously he had told God "How can I hide my feelings from you?" We were all agog, believing we knew what feelings he was hinting about! But what those feelings exactly were he was now ready to acknowldge to Jodha's soul directly.

perfect

The body of Jodha, as the Hakim said, was not responding to treatment, perhaps because Jodha's spirit had lost the will to live. She had done her "duty" by her Jalal, saved his life, but he had not given her any reason to stay back for anything more. She had taken too much pain from him, and found emptiness in return. She was as responsible as him - in that they had both reduced their relationship to a bleak prospect. She was ready to leave and move into the next realm any moment, believing there could be nothing more done!

Jalal, after sending everyone - but everyone! (including a hanging-on Ruq) - out of the room, began talking in private to Jodha's still and resigned body and spirit, at first saying sharply "You have to wake up now Jodha, wake up!"(it was more an order of a Shehenshah than pleading of a husband) But then the scene changed subtly as he felt her spirit, walking away from him into the nether world. He tried to hold back her spirit in a vice-like grip, still begging her not to go away forever. Jodha's spirit then asked Jalal "Why should I wake up, why should I live, why should I remain with you when you didn't even want to see my dying face?" Jalal's soul then replied her spirit in utter honesty "Because I love you. Because you have wakened my heart and put it in the right place. Because my love will never let you go away. Because our hearts have become one. So if you go, I too go with you. And if you stay, I too stay with you. But I cannot ever again live apart from you. I order you to stay." (here was more of a husband than as shehenshah... Jo ko respond to karna hi tha... afterall she never was heartless..😉)

She says "But your powers are only earthly. You cannot order anything in this world I am entering." (same old Jo retorting and showing him mirror that everytime being shehenshah is just not enough, sometimes u have to be a simple human being and leave everything to that Almighty with complete faith in it...)To which Jalal replies "I can't ... but He will!" And in that moment the Jalal we know surrenders his power and acknowledges the superior power of God!

like i said Jo ne samjhaya tha, to Jallu ko samajhna hi tha na... chalo, for time being begum ki koi baat to manega... Jokes apart, but that was good to see Jalal changing from shehenshah mode to a loving and caring husband..

We never see Jodha say "OK" in her spirit form ... but the scene changes subtly again back to Jodha's bedside, and Jalal feels her fingers flutter with life and her mouth begins to move as she tries to speak. She has responded to his love by coming alive again for him. how she couldn't... that was the only thing she ever wanted from him... his love.. And the expression on his face looks like he cannot believe that he has managed to bring her back with the desperate pleas from the very "dil" that he thought he never had!

the way he tightened his grip on her hand, was that u have heard me, now take just one step to me, and i won't let go of u... ever. and still his face shows that uncertainty and disbelief and alert that she has actually stayed back FOR HIM

Mythology has many such tales of great love where spirits that were about to leave this world from dejection and distress were pulled back from the brink by the sincere souls who loved them too much to let them go. Yesterday I saw Jalal pull Jodha back from the edge of death exactly as legends have said that the greatest lovers of mythology have done before. I am thankful to the Creatives for giving us these very private moments between just these two people, and making us witness to their legendary love at their soul level. It was exquisite.

Of course we will all ask: "Do such soul-level utterances of love from Jalal to Jodha's spirit in the "other realm" constitute a real and open acknowledgement of love between them in the real world? Will Jodha remember that he said he loved her? Will he remember what his soul said to her? When souls talk in that "other realm", will minds remember what was spoken there when they wake again in the real world?" I would like to believe that even if they both don't overtly remember their soul-level talks of "mohabbat", a new subliminal bond will have been established that will hereafter tinge all their interactions in the real world. Maybe in a "sensed" way, or even in an unknown way, they will acknowledge their "inside love" through their outer actions for and with each other. At least it will be interesting for us to watch how far their "inner knowingness" now reflects in their outer actions!

I don't think, once she awakes she will remember any of these talks.. but it will be always alive in her subconscious... right now she may feel he is caring for her only out of his guilt... and Jodha, who now herself know (though doesn't accept) her love for him, will surely respond in much positive manner... atleast she won't keep taunting him on his caring for her...there r 50-50 % chances , that she won't remember...me thinks, she won't... but if CVs decide to show her remembering everything, then we r about to witness romance very soon...

but i really don't think it will happen... when she awakes, Jalal will have to bond with her right from start.. make her believe that he won't betray her(which is very difficult with MA and Ruku still being close to him)... let her understand his love for her and then let her understand the depth of it... only then she will respond to his love with her own... till then she won't accept her feelings for him.. but yes, being soft hearted and already in love with him, Jo will surely not punish him for his actions ... she will forgive him... but he has to win her trust again to win her heart...

and if CVs show that she remembers his confession, then ??? what then??? she too should confess her love? m i out of my mind, even to think of it?? Let's see what CVs give us now...

Okay, having said all that, let me go back to the few main highlights of yesterday's episode and go over them in some small detail. In the end part of this post I want to go into greater length on that one "Diksha scene" that was the top of the world - where Jalal awakens Jodha. But here first are the slightly lesser highlights:

Jalal prays before Kanha because he perhaps felt closer to Jodha's heart here?

It was beautiful to see Jalal saunter into Jodha's room almost as if dragged their by divine forces. As he enters the room he has flashback memories of how Jodha had chided him once for entering with his shoes on, and he had inisted that the Shahenshah could do whatever he liked, enter anywhere, with or without his shoes. But as all those memories washed over him, he found himself dutifully removing his footwear and venturing closer to the Kanha moorthy. There he again remembered asking Jodha before what exactly she asked God for when she prayed. She had replied that it was not always to ask for something, one could also pray for thanksgiving, for the care of her family and for peace. He had said "What peace do you expect when we have married from vengeance?" Then he had said to her "Get ready fast to go out with me now as per my mother's wishes" to which she had replied "Nothing comes in the way of my prayers. Let me finish this and then come".

the way he remembers that scene and the way he looked at retreating Jalal , his face showed the guilt , shame and anger for his cruel behaviour with her.. felt like , had that (FB one) Jalal really there in front of him, this Jalal would have punched him for his misbehaviour..

Jalal remembered all this and also how Jodha used to do her aartis - and when he found that the diya had fluttered to a flameless wick, he re-lit the diya symbolically. In that moment there was a sanket that he would bring Jodha back to life from the near-dead! He then showed the aarti to Kanha and remembered how Jodha had taught him to pray like a Hindu with folded hands at the Kali temple in Amer. He did the same thing and pleaded with Kanha, who was so close to Jodha's heart saying "You always seem to hear Jodha's prayers. She is not coming out of her unconciousness. Please help her".

It was also very symbolic that Hamida was just at the entrance to the room watching Jalal doing the aarti. She knew how important it was for Jodha to never miss her daily pujas to Kanha and she herself has stood in for Jodha when Jodha was in jail. Mother and son knew that as long as Jodha lived, her Kanha puja should not go "adhuri". How beautiful was that scene where all four of them bonded - Hamida, Jalal, Jodha and Kanha!

for me it was like Jo bonding mother and son in Kanha avtaar... the new relation in Jalal's life started where he can get peace and strength, without any expectation from him... the relation which will be only FOR HIM

Interesting ancient way to remove snake poison by "roasting" the body over fire?

I won't say much about this scene except to write that my mother told me that as recently as in the 1950s, she has seen people bitten by snake poison in the villages being hoisted bodily over a flame and being shaken side to side to make them vomit the poison. It happened exactly like that yesterday when the Hakim tried this treatment and some of the green stuff did keep pouring out of Jodha's mouth - although rather slowly and in small quantities.

She was being constantly wiped of the green spit, and I think although the process was torturously slow, it must have worked well ... because later the Hakim told Jalal "By now she should have woken, but it seems she continues in coma because she has lost her will to live." I suspect the Hakim meant that the poison was almost nearly out of her system, but something else was now preventing her from waking up!

Dadisa does her bit at Amer and goes to Shakuni on behalf of of all of us viewers!

Where is Mainavati these days? She's been gaayab for quite a while. So much so that Dadisa in Amer was forced to have the usual nightmare that Mainavati would have normally had, about Jodha being in the throes of death! Dadisa then rushes to Shakuni Bai asking "Will Jodha live? Something horrible seems to have happened to her?"

Shakuni Bai does her usual round of loud praying and then says prophetically that "Something is going to make this a long and hard night for Jodha. She is in a very dark place. Either she may die, or else she may live in glory after this! Prayer is the only way to save her!"

Thanks Shakuni Bai, we all missed you. In fact from the day the Salim Chisti's and the parrot's sankets came, people have been asking where is Shakuni Bai? But no thanks for telling us a prophecy that neither had a head nor a tail and just reiterated the status quo. We knew it was a long night for Jodha and it could go either way, and everyone's been praying already. So you didn't really tell us much that we didn't know. But just for showing us your face at an opportune time, when we are all down in the dumps, cheered us up no end! You are more comic than prophetic, Shakuni Bai, so do comeoften to lighten our days - especially when heavy stuff is happpening in the story!

.before AkDha marriage, shaguni Bai has predicted that Jo will become Mallika E Hind, right? so how can now she show the fear that Jo might die in that freightful night? is she saying that her then words might prove wrong? had Maina been there, she would have created hungama over this...

Ruq is so unable to answer Hoshiyaar that she lands a slap yet again on Hoshiyaar's gaal!

There was another interesting scene wth Ruq that just highlighted her ambivalence and typical mood swings. Hoshiyaar did the unforgiveable again by hinting that Ruq seemed overly concerned about her "enemy" jodha ... whereupon Ruq played a forehand cross-court shot across Hoshiyaar's cheek with the brute force of Steffi Graf!

Ruq said Hoshiyaar better shut up if something better could not be said! Now just look at the crazy mental workings of Ruq ... she seemed too much to be wanting to pray for Jodha than talking about Jodha. That itself was a kind of hint to me. Jodha makes Ruq uncomfortable as a subject, but she feels the need to pray for her perhaps seeing Jodha in distress as an extension of Jalal in distress? So somewhere in Ruq's mind Jalal and Jodha are already inseparable?

me too think , in her mind Ruku knows abt Jalal's state of mind and his feelings for Jodha... and up till now, she had kept her words repeating that he has no heart... but she knows now it will be difficult to continue with it... but must say, she loves Jalal , and finally she will come to terms with accepting Jodha as Jalal's love

To pray for Jodha, Jalal summons the same praja that she help him build bonds with!

It was ironical that it was Jodha who first re-introduced Jalal to his own people on his birthday, and when time came for mass prayers for Jodha , Jalal turned to the same praja, summoning them in their multitudes to ask them to please pray for her, as only prayers could now save her.

If Jodha had been awake to see this she would have exulted! To see Jalal fall back humbly on the shoulders of his people and ask for their love and support in distress was just the kind of thing Jodha had always wanted. Whenever Jalal appealed to the praja, his heart seemed to come right out in his words to them, as Jodha had always seen.

Yesterday I thought he spoke very well to the praja once again. It was just a few words but the fact that he needed them to support his prayers was in itself a laying down of his sense of "powerfulness" and a sign of his wearing the mantle of "humility" of his own volition.

see copycat shehenshah... yahan Jodha ka sikhaya tarika use khud hi yaad aaya... kisi ki zaroorat nahi padi yaad dilane ke liye...

anyway.. Jalal was just too touchy...

And now here's the "Diksha scene" ...

Mansi!!!

Jalal decides to speak his heart to Jodha in private and give her a reason to live again!

For those who just want to relive this beautiful, beautiful scene of Jalal declaring his love for Jodha, here is what happened:

The Hakim told Jalal that despite treatment, Jodha, who should have woken up by now seems to be resisting waking up, perhaps because she has lost the will to live. A very weak-looking, tearful and disturbed Jalal then tells everyone to leave the room and leave them both alone. Ruq tries to stay back but he gives her an even more forceful "Takhliya" that brooks no more interference! He then turns to Jodha, caresses her head and says "Open your eyes Jodha begum .. I said open your eyes". And then he breaks down saying "I cannot let you go!"

like i said very good change from stern emperor to a loving husband

Jodha's spirit is then seen as if it has stepped out of her body on its trek into the ""other world". She steps out alone along the long corridor to Heaven, and is almost consumed by the darkness, when Jalal's hand grips hers hard and stops her. She says to him "Leave me to go. I have to go." Jalal says "I don't want to hear this", but she replies "Why? Let alone hearing me, you were the one who said you didn't even want to see my face if I was dying? You always wanted, didn't you, that I should leave both Agra and you? Let me go. And anyway what I had to do by my kartavya, I have already done. Now I am happy and at peace that I have saved your life. I have honoured the vachans given to my mother and at my wedding. I now have to go. I want to go away forever."

Jalal holds rigidly to her hand, his face very wet with tears and his lips contorted in agony. He says "You have always been so stubborn and bent everyone to your "zid" but I will not let your "zid" control things now. Yes it's true I did say I don't want to see your face ever again or hear you. But the truth is that every time I close my eyes, I see only your face before me. The truth is I yearn to hear you. And no matter what I say about hating you so much, the truth is that I love you -sach yeh hai ki hum aap se mohabbat karte hain. And the truth again, Jodha Begum, is that this feeling - this "ehsaas" in my heart is because of you. You have enlivened my "dil" in me - and you now have no right to break my heart and go away from me. If you go, I too will. I need you Jodha Begum, and this is your Shahenshah's order that you will not go anywhere. Come back!"

Jodha says "You are but a King on the earth, your orders do not work in this world where I am now heading. Nothing will work here. I had taken a vachan that if I had to save your life by giving mine I would do so willingly. Now its time for me to keep my pledge."

Jalal starts shouting in anger ""You will do no such thing, Jodha Begum. You have no right over your life. If you go, I too will. If you stay, I too will. Now my life, my identity, is intertwined with yours. Without you, I don't exist, and without me, you don't exist."

Jodha then ruefully says "But I have no say in the face of kismet ..." Jalal rounds back on her saying "I wrote my own kismet. If need be I will wage war against kismet, but I will not let you go!"

Jodha says imploringly "But you can do nothing here Shahehshah, you cannot do anything!" He says "I won't ... but He will! The One that gives us all power, who answers our prayers, who makes us live and die, that One will see that you don't go."

superb screenplay.. perfect direction and Gr8 acting by Rajat and pari... everybody deserve 👏👏👏👏

The scene then shifts briefly to the Akbar Ka Makabra where Jalal tells Jodha "That was truly a very long and hard night for us, wasn't it?".

He is then seen again at Jodha's bedside saying "Oh how I wish I was the one to die and not you! You have robbed me of my death and given me life - and this life of mine belongs to you. If I live it will only be with you. Allah, please don't let my faith break, please "baksh" the life of Jodha."

Just like she had accused him of robbing her of her death when she had tried to commit suicide.. that circle is completed now...

And then suddenly, as if by divine will, Jodha's fingers start moving in his grip, and her mouth starts shaping to speak. He is stunned and watching her with both trepidation and alertness as the episode winds to a close.

Later in the precap, Ruq is seen trying to enter the room where Jodha and Jalal are - only to be told summarily by Moti that Jalal has ordered that no one shall disturb them and no one can enter!

so Ruku will be back to square one... again we r to get our audha queen back.. hope she doesn't enter in the room, or she is in for a let down from Jalal

Folks, it looked like this was that awesome moment that was foretold by a Pirbaba long long ago to Jalal - that he would soon change after his marriage and lose his own sense of powerfulness when he realises that there is a God above who is the one scripting everything on Earth. Thus the boy who thought he could rule the world with awesome wordly power would find that he has to surrender his own power to the Almighty, who is the actually the most powerful of all ... and he will thus learn the lesson that true greatness lies in humility in the face of wordly successes.

That moment seemed to have come in this episode yesterday, when Jalal told Jodha's spirit "I can do nothing to stop you going, but He will!"

What a moment, folks! Jalal has shown us the first glimpse of really becoming Akbar the Great!

Superb post Mansi, as usual...👍🏼
