Jodha has understood and accepted that nobody trusts her and most folks are creating problems for her. The thing is that to Jodha the opinion of most of the Agra folks does not matter and that helps her in NOT getting demotivated by their silly acts. Jodha attends the Mehandi ceremony with her head held high. She knows she cannot do anything openly to show her unhappiness at the ceremony. We do not see any childish attempts or dialogs to repeat that Ben is a vishkanya. But, folks around her do not like the calm Jodha who stands with head held high. They try to challenge her every step in the cermony. She is asked to give a gift and I was thinking she will give it and tell it was not from her, but from Shenshah. My ordinary thinking is washed over, when Jodha gives Ben a picture that tells Ben her future. This was a tight slap on Ben's face and most of the Agra folks. Jodha clearly indicated to everyone that I am being forced to give a gift, but you can't stop me from showing what I feel. Jodha's feelings were out in open with that gift and everybody understood it. But, nobody (even Ruqu and MA) could do anything about it. Hence my title, she gave a retort that shut everyone's mouth. She told them that it is okay you do not believe me, but I am still firm on my believes. She stood alone - but looked so peaceful, calm, dignified, beautiful and last but not the least very strong.
I was also happy that the parrot did not read Jodha's fortune as the one receiving most love from Jalal. That would have created more problems in her life. As my posts in the past indicated that Jodha is the suraksha kawach for Jalal, nobody can harm Jalal as long Jodha is around him. I was dreading the parrot scene as another melodrama, but enjoyed all the predictions as nothing in it was too dramatic. I also enjoyed the silent arrows Jodha was releasing at Ben constantly through out the ceremony. I went back to Jalal's compliment that he had given Jodha when she questions his intentions for Sukanya's wedding. Jalal had said, toup se badkar aapka gussa, talwaar se tezz aapki najar, etc..Good that Ben is on the receiving end and not my Jalal. Jodha's victory face at Ben's parrot reading was so well portrayed by Paridhi. Infact I felt PS was superb with her eye expression the entire ceremony, am in love with this actress!
Few posts back I requested CVs to give us more warm Jalal-Hamida scenes, was so happy to see it again. Hamida has been always shown as a very warm personality, and that warmth becomes boiling when Jodha is concernedđ. Today, like any mom she could read her son's pain. Jalal for the first time shares his thoughts with Hamida, it was so touching. My heart went out for the pain he was feeling. Jalal understands that he is lonely inspite of everyone around desiring him and wishing him good. Hamida explains it very well and I was so proud of her that she did not indicate that Jodha is the one who can complete him. Although in her heart Hamida knows that Jodha is the one. This is something that Jalal has to realize on his own, and he does already to most extent. He has to realize that why inspite of everything my non-existent heart craves for Jodha's love. The most important thing Hamida did today was gave her son a hope. Hamida also explained to Jalal that he is alone because nobody has loved him as a person or worried about him as a person or accepted him just as a human being. Wouldn't it have been awesome if Jodha's picture came to Jalal's mind when Hamida talked about this person? Jalal gives such a sweet response that Hamida is that person, indeed a mom is always that person. I was not completely happy with Hamida's response of her not being around always.. The loneliness is because he has never had a wife so far, only queens.
The parallel scene where Jodha is looking through the jharoka was also very touching. She is in a very tough spot, feeling helpless that every attempt of her fails. The desperation is there, but there are no tears of defeat. She requests Kanha to be there with her, give her the strength to figure out a way. I had always wanted a Jodha who did not complain or cry in front of kanha, this Jodha arrived today and made me proud of her yet again! I hope the soul talk is not another TRP saving stunt to fool us CVs. It clearly indicated that after this Jodha would never be alone. After this everything would change for better..Please do not let the soul talk prediction go wrong by starting another MU track.
How lucky for us that SD in his greed calls upon Jodha yet again? Jodha would have never visited SD if his news was not related to Jalal's safety. She went there so many times only because of her concern and love for Jalal. She leaves the jail with lot of fear, but is even more determined to save her Jalal. That determination makes her stay up all night and keep an eye on Ben. Jalal has so many sipahis and who not to protect him. But, at that moment it felt like everyone was useless. All he needs is Jodha around him, she is the bullet proof vest on Jalal. SD is going to be out soon as Jodha will let Jalal know how he helped her many times. Oh well, its better he is out as the possessive Jalal track might come when SD makes move at Jodha. Finally like everyone pointed out in the forum, Jalal/Atgah question Abu mali about the ghuspet. I guess CVs are slowly trying to get Jalal's buddhi back.
Precap: A bollywood filmy Yash raaj scene happening. Jodha the Kajol in Jalal the Shah Rukh Khan ki bahoon mein behosh, and Jalal going wild with worry! I liked it that Jodha used the word pati and not shenshah. She proved Hamida right, that Jalal is missing a wife as he is surrounded by only queens!
