Hello people surprised to see me here again but I'm back with yet another chapter of my SS yes I'm turning it into a SS for now lets's see if I make it an FF or no till then enjoy reading this update hope I lived up to your expectations.. Here I go..😃.

PART 2

Jalal's Pov

She lay there lifeless in my arms froth erupting from her mouth, her lips turning blue due to the venom that entered her body.. I sat there numb for a second until I gained my senses back and scream out for the royal hakim's ,"Hakim sahib treat my begum bring her back to life and if you fail you will not see the light of the coming day this is a shehenshah's word to you". The hakim trembled in fear as he heard me threaten him for life and he ran behind me the moment I picked Jodha in my arms and ran at inhuman pace to her hojra eager to put her on medication as soon as possible.. I held onto her for dear life fearing that if I left her even for a minute I'd lose my touch with life.

Silent tears made their way out of my eyes as I saw her lying there on her bed lifeless pale all fight lost in her.. Then I was reminded of something and rage incomparable and destructive came back to me I clutched my shamsheer tight in my hand as I walked towards Benazir's hojra and luck favoured me as she was packing away and was just going to make a run for her life when I lunged at her slicing her head away from her body for hurting my Begum for attempting to kill her..

"This is what you get for trying to kill the person whom I love and hold close to my heart. May Allah never let your soul rest in peace may you suffer even after your soul departs from this world ". I then turned to her bandhi who had assisted Benazir in this dirty work and my shamsheer sliced through her gut killing her that very moment having done that my soul got a little peace after killing my Jodha's murderer's.. That very moment my words from a few seconds before dawned upon me, I had conveyed my true feelings for Jodha in a moment of rage now fully understanding their meaning ,"This is what you get for trying to kill the person whom I LOVE and hold close to my heart"

LOVE this word kept resounding in my ears until I put a palm over them to still the voice.. As I withdrew my hand from over my ear I fell down to my knees a battle raging in me where one side my mind disregarded any feeling called Love and the fact that i owned a heart and on the other hand the little organ in my chest which beat at inhuman pace claimed I loved Jodha and loved her with all my heart and soul.. Fed up of fighting the internal battle I shut my eyes to gain a moment of peace and that is when I saw her reflected in front of me looking radiant in the green lehenga, smiling ever so slightly, the radiance of which lit up the insides of my dark heart filling every corner of it with light and happiness.. Tears ran down my cheeks subconsciously as I sat there immersed in the thoughts of my love a smile gracing my lips.. When I opened my eyes a minute later the internal battle between my heart and mind all forgotten and over.. I let my heart overrule my mind for once and proudly announced," Hum aapse beinteha mohabbat karte hai Jodha.. I love you too much for your own good and now It'll only be happiness and smiles I promise you a lifetime of happiness Jodha I love you.." My good mood did'nt last for long as Jodha's pale face came in front of my eyes.. I ran towards her hojra feeling restless because of the distance between us, I would'nt leave her side for a moment now on..

Reaching her room I sat down on her bed taking her weak hand in mine and my other hand caressed her forehead softly.. I turned to the hakim's to enquire of her condition and they said," Humne begum sahiba ke shareer se zeher toh nikaal diya hai par unka bukhaar kam nahi hota shehenshah dua kijiye ke unka bukhaar utre nahi toh mushkil ho jayega inka bachna".

The hakim left the room and I slipped into deep thought as I remembered every word Jodha said to me. "Shehenshah aapke pran sankat main hai"

"Shehenshah Benazir ek Vishkanya hai woh aapke pran lene aayi hai"

"Aap bhale humein dand de par hum aapko jo kehne aaye hai woh kehke jaayenge Benazir ek Vishkanya hai woh aapke pran lene aayi hai Shehenshah Vishwaas kijiye humaara"

"Humne pran bacha liye aapke shehenshah apna patni dharm nibhane main saphal hue hum". She warned him every time every moment just to keep him safe and sound, to see him breathe and live and prosper as an emperor but he had done nothing but snub her,taunt her and hurt her time and again with his crude words. He called her jealous blinded by the fold of Benazir's pretence and she had tried to take the blindfold off his eyes every time but he had done nothing but hurt her pride her self respect in person and in the court some time back..

"I will never set foot in your hojra Jodha begum even if your eyes shut"

"You have lost the little respect that I had for you at your own hands and now I hate you and your face"

"Aap pijiye ye paani tab aapko tassalli ho jayegi ke Benazir ek vishkanya nahi hai". I remembered how she eagerly drank all that venomous water without any qualms and complaints just for the sake of keeping me alive. She risked her life so that I could live and prosper in my life. She had fulfilled her duties as my begum more than any of my wives and I had once like a fool claimed that she had never fulfilled one single duty of being my begum whereas on the other hand she had silently fulfilled all her duties without complaints. She was my begum in true sense the begum of my heart. Yet again my rude statements came back to me and all the activities from a few hours ago replayed themselves in my mind like a movie reel and I exclaimed in anguish ,"Ya allah ye kaise gunaah ho gaya humse kyun nahi maani humne Jodha begum ki baat"

PRESENT

I silently prayed to Allah and Jodha's Kanha for her well being and to breathe life in her again.. I completed my morning prayers and went back to Jodha's bed and sat down where I was sitting since last night, I bent down and placed a loving and soft kiss on her forehead and sat there holding her hand to my chest clutching it tightly between my palms.

"Hume muaaf kar dijiye Jodha humne aapko bahut dard diya hai aaj tak, nafrat ki aapse par aaj uss nafrat se bhi badhkar mohabbat karte hai beinteha mohabbat karte hai aapse aaj hum. Jaan dene ke liye tayyaar hai aapke liye hum bus waapis aa jaiyye humaare paas marr jayenge aapke bina hum akele ho jayege hum waapis aa jayiye muaaf kar dijiye humein" tears of agony leaked down as I again broke down getting no response from her, I rested my forehead against our intertwined hands and shed tears over my cursed destiny.. Her fever had reduced considerably but she would'nt open her eyes and that bothered me, if not for the steady rise and fall of her chest I would have thought she had gone away from me. That very moment I felt movement beside me from my beloved Begum, her hand twitched in my clutches and her feet shifted her payal making a tinkling noise as her feet moved and then she slowly opened her eyes adjusting to the brightness in the room. She turned her face a bit and her eyes met mine.. Black met brown and I was a goner that very moment.
