@Mansi:
Jalal stays silent even when Ruq insults Jodha?
I absolutely didn't like the scene where Ruq comes to where Jalal is sitting in the garden and Jodha is applying her lep to his hand wound. Ruq grabs the lep and insists she is the Khas Begum and must be the one to apply the lep and sends Jodha off from the scene with major insults that she is a "kabab mein haddi" in the Ruq-Jalal relationship! And alll the while Jalal is sitting silent and watching, not saying a word in Jodha's defence, and actually looking at Jodha in a mocking way! I dunno what to think of his etiquette and manners, leave alone his sense of fairness. Not nice at all, Creatives! Even if you want to show him brainless, at least you can show him to be more decent than that? All I can say is that he's in for a major shock when Jodha's truth comes before him and she puts her life on the line to save him. I hope to see that sarcastic look wiped off his face and I want to see Ruq look like pulp!
Jalal knew it was Jodha who ventured to stop his sorry Ben's trip to the darghah on the other side of Yamuna and wanted a confirmation from Jodha, so that he can probe further on the reasons for her such act. He would have been successful in his probe provided Ruqaiya had not interrupted the conversation. Whatever he talked to Ruqu on the preventive measures taken for his safety were infact directed to Jodha and the dimwit Ruqu didn't realize it. When he said those words, it had too many meanings hidden in those few words. Here I suspect he knows about Ben and the risk taken by Jodha when she decided to put a break to Ben. The silence was merely silence without meaning. When Ruqu talked about she doesn't want anyone between herself and her husband, it looked as if cynical, since she was the one who proposed his marriage with Ben. When Ruqu stopped Jodha from applying the medicine to Jalal's hand alongwitn Jodha even he was taken aback but had short of words OR may be he wanted Jodha to resist Ruqaiya but no such things happened. His eyes had that suppressed anger, anxiety and sorrow. His silence looked more like the chilled climate before the volcanic eruption. The mild breeze prior to the toofan. He was controlling all his emotions since that wsa not the right time to explode. Once he explodes, like volcano, he will engulp to many who have caused distress to him and his loved one (though he is not yet ready to accept). It was like he was mocking Ruqu's claim about how much she cares for him and his safety, when in reality she was the one who is pushing his death towards him. Hence the sarcastic look on his face was not directed towards Jodha but towards Ruqaiya but alas, the ladies didn't realize that as one was hurt and the other was beaming.
He looked hurt when Jodha left the place without a word but eyes were full. He will give justification to all those unshed tears n a later stage. But now he looked more like the Jalal who was silent and bearing all the brunt of Jodha during the Fake Pregnancy time despite knowing the fact that Jodha was innocent and yet he could not confined that to Jodha.
Other than Jodha herself, who keeps insisting she is not in love with Jalal and its all just kartavya, Moti, Salima and Hamida all seem to know that Jodha is in love with Jalal already. Salima brought Hamida up to speed with the Ben boatride happenings and insisted that Jodha should be the one to solve the Ben case as she needs to do this for her love for Jalal. Hamida concurred. Moti insisted that Jodha and Jalal were both in love with each other but too pig-headed to accept. All in all, the Creatives seem to be giving us viewers some lollypop dialogues about "love" till this Ben track is over, just in case we stop watching and the TRPs crash even more! Don't get fooled guys, this is a dubious sanket! Till we actually see love, we shouldn't believe these dialogues!
Here rather than emphasizing the fact of Jodha's love for Jalal, I liked the way Salima talked about how Jodha never felt jealous or insecurity of either Salima or Ruquaya, and hence she is more like a sister to Salima, may be on a later stage even to Ruqu. This we can take as Sanket of how later these 3 will not fight as sauthen but live a peaceful & friendly life of sisters.
Maham twists Ruq into all kinds of knots
An already angry Ruq, miffed with the fact that Jodha was always butting into her life with Jalal, was further instigated by Maham using entirely twisted logic. When Ruq said triumphantly that she had managed to grab the lep from Jodha, send Jodha packing and applied the lep herself to Jalal, Maham said "Oh, you poor thing. Why did you apply Jodha's lep? See how cleverly Jodha has managed to offer her lep to Jalal and also make you her servant for applying her lep to his hand!" Maham then also added "Ask yourself why Jalal has not punished Jodha for her lies about Ben, why he has exonerated Bharmal in the Shivani case ... you are fast losing your place and your audha and you need to send Jodha out of Agra and Jalal's life pronto. Meanwhile please continue to eat food for the food has done nothing to you!". What a brainless nut this Ruq is to fall for this line! Fully wound up thus by Maham, Ruq smashed an apple to the floor! What a food-wasting and time-wasting scene!
Maham is acting to desperate to get rid of Jodha as she openly visualize her end if Jodha continues for some more time in Agra. So she is shooting the bullets from the shoulders of Ruquaya, so that even ona later date, if Jalal questions, she will not get caught or can pretend innocent by claiming she acted based on BEK's orders. Ruqu is drowning deep in the tide, that it will cost her dearly to come out of it unhurt. She is instigating Ruqu too much on Jodha which might boomerang on her during execution.
Creatives give isharas of the next tracks
Via Jalal at the DEK the Creatives gave us some few clues about upcoming tracks. Jalal was seen asking Atga what happed to the Chanderi battle, and was told that Hakim has triumphed, and ManSingh had acquitted himself handsomely as well. Jalal immediately announced that he would be giving ManSingh a mansabdari to which Maham tried to object saying he was very young. But Jalal said he too had been very young when he took over the Sulltanate! Maham then said Jalal should catch the boatride attacker, to which Jalal replied "Leave that to me!" (since the miscreant was his own Jodha). That zipped Maham's mouth. Then Jalal also asked Adham why he was in Agra instead of "minding his own business" in his fiefdom, to which Adham said something about being in remote control. Jalal then asked Atga if Shivani and Tej had been caught yet, (which they weren't). So evidently, the return of Hakim and ManSingh, the promotion of ManSingh, the watchfulness over Adham and the capture of Shivani and Tej are on the cards imminently, after the departure of Ben. But my question is: where is Rahim and the Jodha letter?
How many days are passed since Shivani's elopement? It hardly looked like hardly 4 - 5 days and 3 days of MH & MS's departure for the war. Then how the hell the army reached Chaderi battle field and eve won the war and Atga Khan even got the info so soon? Were the rivals on the battle field were waiting for the duo Mirza Hakim & Maan Singh to handover the reign to them and fled the battle field? Anyway liked the way Jalal sidelined Maham in both Mansabdari & boatride attacker cases and reserved the final words with him. About Shivani & Tejvant in the DEK, was it js to hint Maham that he had not set them free and he will act on them strictly and you need not have to intrigue with Ruqu on this issue? About Adham, did Jalal smelt something fishy as he questioned his existence in Agra when he had been given some responsibility to fulfill for the betterment of the sultanate?
Ben leads Salima and Jodha through a town trip
Following a sneaky-looking Ben in baandhi clothes, Jodha and Salima also go to the city market (in their own baandhi clothes) where Ben is to meet a Kamaal Khan (agent of Abul Mali who sent her a paigam and map - inside a darbooz - on how to release Mali from prison ... and asked her to meet him in the city market). Ben however, when fixing her loose payal, caught sight of the two Begums following her, and in a bid to lose them she ducked into a bangle shop. But alas, the two Begums saw through her ruse, for she was buying rather cheap bangles considering that the next day she was to marry a Shahenshah! Thus alerted that they had been spotted by Ben, Jodha and Salima decided that they had better return to the Palace ... the whole trip was about to become a "tain tain fiss" when suddenly a piece of usable subooth fell into Jodha's and Salima's hands. Thus thewalk through the city market in barely-disguising baandhi clothes seemed to be worth something in the end!
How easy is it to sneak in & out of Agra palace, that no one even realizes that the daasi's keep going in & out without rising an eyebrow of the security personal? How was that so easy for Moti Bai to recognize Ben when she had covered herself in that blanket? And how did Salima Begum fit into Moti Bai's dress? What the hell with these ladies that who ever wants to hide their identity, will cover their head, mind you not face in Blanket and go out on a stroll on a sunny day? And how come no one on the road doesn't find it as suspicious or ridiculous? Why they could not drape their pallu on their head instead of that blankets? How funny it is that all the 3 could recognize each other and still were on disguise. Here we need to applaud for Jalal's skill in this department.
A town crier brings news of a vital subooth
Hardly had Jodha and Salima decided that the trip behind Ben to the city market had been futile, and were ready to return home, than a town crier apppeared beating a dindora and saying "The well in the town has been poisoned. Beware. Several have died already after consuming that water!"Jodha immediately recognised the well as the one Ben had jumped into ... and Salima then completed the jasoosgiri by proclaiming "We have our vital subooth"! The question is whether Jodha and Salima wll now run to Hamida with this news or will they run to Jalal? Or will Jalal get to know this by himself from Atga and his men? And will this bit of news at least make Jalal more suspicious of Ben and believing of Jodha? If Jalal still doesn't see the connection between the poisoned well and Ben he really is thick in the head!
If there is an announcement in the market place, then it has to be from the sultanate and anyone can't announce on their own without the knowledge of the rulers. So obviously Jalal knows the fact that the water is poisonous and would have ordered for testing that by now. If not Jalal at least, Atgha khan might be aware of it.
How on the earth did Salima Begum think that the announcement is a vital sabot for them and Jalal not even aware of this fact the well water is full of poison? Only thing which I just could not understand is that how are these 2 ladies going to prove that the poison is due to Ben? She was proved non-poisonous just before she left for Darghah. My only worry is that if by chance, these 2 ladies just run into the DEK and claim that water pollution is due to Ben and Maham will use it against them to berate Jodha further by saying that Jodha would have mixed some poison in desperation to prove her point.
The precap: Adham tries his diirty hand with Ben?
I am a bit confused about the precap, because Adham Khan was seen giving Ben some lecherous looks in her room, while describing her looks, her husn and her "zeher" as appealing and compelling! Now did Adham give Ben a hint that he knew she was a vishkanya, or was he just being his usual self i.e. running behind anything in a skirt? Was that just an unhappy choice of words about "zeher" that made Ben nervous, or was Adham trying to blackmail Ben to have a fling with him just before she became Mrs. Jalal? He sure looks like he's dying for a bite (pardon the pun!). And my million dollar question: Ben has still not mounted that "spoiler horse", so are we in for another faltoo filler episode today also with her galloping about the countryside in yet another set of clothes?!!!
Adham is good with Arithmetic, so he has realized that if Jodha blames ben about Poison, then there should be some truth in it. So he is trying his luck by shooting in dark and hitting the blind target. He might not have realized the acuteness of her lethal poison but would have thought that he can blackmail her and have his way to her bed. Only thing is that, if he is lucky enough, he will be saved by some interruption.
