When Jodha first entered the harem, HB told her that the women in the harem were all Jalal's wives, baandis or "gifts" from other rulers. If Jalal could keep so many women then why is he so upset about marrying Ben? She can't be worse off than many others in the harem? (if he doesn't know she is a VK)

Why is everyone getting so worked up about SR between Jalal and Ben? He can just marry her and dump her in the harem like many other women. He is not bound to do anything more for her.

yes but he has never married a bandhi before,and that is not what is worrying him..he dosent want to marry ben,he is being forced to.

Radhika, BUT Ben is not any other woman.
She is a vishkanya which fact is known to Jodha.

If she was just going to be in Haram like others there is not much issue, apart from her being a bandi. (Truly Bandi is a sophisticated word they are using, she is not just any bandi the fact is she is from Abul Mali's haram, Jalal's enemy), so this marriage is just not befitting a Shehenshah, remember this is 16th century!

By this same logic why can't Ben not stay in haram like all others & she will be safe. Surely nobody will attack her there.

The issue is by getting Jalal to agree to the marriage Ben has finally got a chance to get close to him. She will use that to harm him that is the problem with SR!!!

BTW Ben is not even going to wait till SR she wants to harm him before, if she does not succeed then she will try again, she does not care for his life, why would she care if she was married to him or not to kill him?

and she has come only to finish him off

jodha knows it now so she is more scared

Hi Guys,

u r all speaking from ur knowledge that Ben is a VK. Jalal doesn't know this. So why is he getting worked up?

U like Jodha r scared that Ben will kill him. But he doesn't know this. So even for the first time, he can marry a bandi and dump her and not get intimate with her.

And as for Ben being from Abul Mali's harem, Jalal wasn't bothered about it when he got her as a khaas tohfa. True back then kings mostly kept such girls as concubines. But just marrying her shouldn't cause him such a problem because he is the Shahenshah and can do anything.

This is not about liking Jodha, this is that in century Akbar would never marry a maid, he only marry women that will gain him a stronger foothold of power.

This track is pure nonsense, it is the same thing over and over again, her trying to kill him and fail, day after day it is getting old now.

She could have simply stayed in harem. Jalal isn't married to each and every female non-relative in harem. He has just has few legitimate wives. Rest all are just pretty women who he was fond of once upon a time.

His marrying a bandhi is a first. She is maid servant. Mughals were very proud of their lineage. It would have been unthinkable to marry a daasi. That is why he must be all worked up. This is all a ruse to annoy Jodha. In a normal situation, Ruqu and MA would have died first than allowed Jalal to marry a nobody.
