Ekta can't change History... Salim was Akbar's first son with Jodha. He is waiting for Salim first & will go to other women later...So his eyes & concentration is only on Jodha...😆

According to history, Salim is his first child and that too Jodha gave birth to Salim after 7 years of their wedding. Ekta has no power to change the facts of history. Akbar was said to be busy in wars in his initial years and could be the main reason for childless scenario despite several begums. On a lighter note, he might be really obsessed with Jodha and didn't touch any women until he consummated with her.

Ekta can murder (rewrite) history and give a note: this show is not related to history, the similarity in characters name is just a co-incidence... Jai Ekta Ma, she can do anything...

One of the main reasons is Maham. Ruq was carrying with a child, as shown, but it was due to MA that there was a miscarriage. In fact I remember Ruq saying that 'harem mein is se bhi pehle god suni hui hai' (when she was trying to find out the culprit behind her miscarriage.

As per history and according to my best understanding, he had twins Hakim and Hassan with Jodha. However they died within one month of their birth. Then there was a daughter too, who didn't survive. Salim however was the one who survived and hence the first born. Need confirmation on this.
